Good price and a competent installation. The electrical installation required a difficult cable route, down and outside wall and through the basement, but that was managed very neatly. The installers initially connected the panels incorrectly so the system was very responsive to shading, but once I pointed this out, they cam and corrected it very quickly.

JEL Renewables were excellent! A fantastic service from start to finish by the team at JEL. Alex in sales was brilliant - he helped design the system, worked with me to fine-tune it, and got it finalised - all at a very competitive price.

The installation team was also excellent - quick efficient and very tidy.

I would recommend JEL Renewables to anyone looking to install a Solar array, battery, and inverter setup.

Good service from survey through to installation and commissioning. Installers were neat and tidy and made an unsolicited return to check after a couple of days.

From system design down to hoovering up after the installation JEL have been top of their field. The system installation was the best I have ever experienced having workmen in your home, no damage at all and the highest class of install with no cutting of corners. On mildly sunny days in early March I am totally off grid which is a delight at today's energy prices. Can't rate this company highly enough.

JEL just completed a solar and battery system for us.
Got 4 prices and although not the cheapest, JEL were close enough and provided better warranty. We also wanted to go with a local installer.
Good price, great communications and all the installation team were a credit to the company. A pretty painless experience from start to finish. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

What can I say not the normal high pressure sales take your money and leave you with technical issues you cant sort. JEL are professional from start to finish after sale service is what you would expect from a friend cant recommend this company enough 10/10 , and very competitive .

I first got in touch with Jel Renewables via a search on Google. I was doing some due diligence, just trying to see what was available and what to expect for a solar PV & battery storage system. I think I must have sent enquires to 4 or 5 companies, including my previous utilities provider. Jel, were the first to respond, both an email and a polite preliminary phone call.
Over the next week I must have spoken with Alex Kyriacou, Sales Manager at Jel, for several hours, usually via WhatsApp, as I was, at the time, travelling in Asia for work reasons (8hr time difference!). At no point did I feel Jel were trying to push me into making a purchase or buying something that might be unsuitable. Alex kindly guided me through the entire process, from choosing the right system, pro’s and con’s of storage, installation and export set up, all the way through to the final switch the best tariff. Alex had answers to every question I asked and if there was any detail missing or needed clarification he would typically follow it up within the next working day.
Once the survey was complete, installation took a couple of days and was expertly handled by Mike Waring, Ops Manager. Similarly, all admin was well taken care of by Miya Maclean. From top to bottom, dealing with the Jel Renewables has been surprisingly positive. They are a class act!

Really helpful staff, mainly spoke to Alex and Harris, both of whome were very helpful whenever I had questions.

System was installed quickly and installers also answered questions.

Had a few little hiccups with the app, gave them a ring and it was quickly sorted.

Overall good service.

Navigating the world of solar systems is no easy feat with so many options currently on the market.
After speaking to a few local companies I opted for JEL, Alex made the complicated simple and was only a phone call away if I had a query.
From the site inspection, installation to the after care support, I was never let down.

After many hours of searching the Internet while investigating companies with their review rating and cost valve I chose JEL, also more importantly Alex.
Wow what a Valuable employee he is that company. He has made the whole process of choosing understanding different systems components and products a breeze. The more I learned with the aid of Alex and the information brochures on different products the more I changed my system to make it fit our house lifestyle like a glove. My apologies to Alex for all the different quotes for the various systems I was interested in.
All the staff and employees at JEL including the contracted scaffolders their roofers and Electricians were polite, professional, hardworking, along with pride and perfection to detail in their workmanship, even with my specific requests nothing was too much hassle for them.
Also big shout out to Mike with the installation team and aftercare, 10 out of 10 for all the follow up calls and emails, again amazing service.
If any one wants renewable energies this is the company to deal with and I can't wait to use them again for any future projects.

Fitter arrived when stated, job was completed satisfactory very pleased with the service and would reccomend th company.

After doing a pile of research and contacting 2 other local companies, I engaged JEL to provide a quote for a solar installation. I was keen to shop local and this seemed a good place to start.

With a complex roof setup, Alex and the team were able to provide the best solution I could accommodate on my roof space. No obligation quote with detailed information on what they would install.

I changed the requirements a few times (sorry Alex 😄) and added a two batteries to boot.
They were quickly able to change the spec and provide what I deemed to be a very competitive price, especially compared to a family member who used a company from the South East, for a smaller setup.

I added a new item to the spec for controlling my hot water tank. A new product for JEL; they made sure they contacted the manufacturer, obtained the relevant info on what it does and how, to best advise me if it was needed and suitable for my install.
After a few discussions, it was decided not to put it in, so was promptly removed from the quote… a great indicator that they are not just there to sell you any product, but the right product.

Installation came and went and a few little hurdles were no issues for the team. It’s great they use their own staff for electrics and roof install, saving me any bother with arranging things like scaffolding.

Aftercare has been great. Plenty of follow up calls and suggestions on new Electricity tariffs.

No doubt I’ll be back in the future to add new batteries or revisit the hot water control expansion.

In short, massive thanks to Alex and the team and I would highly recommend using JEL.

I had a wonderful experience as I moved towards reduced reliance of the traditional energy companies and installed PV on my roof. Alex was able to talk the whole process through with me, directing me to the best source of finance and arranging a survey. Harry organised the installation, which went totally to plan and there have been no surprised throughout the whole process.

Investing in solar panels is definitely a considered purchase!
However, you can do no better than to speak to Alex Kyriacou at JEL Renewables. Clear, concise information across the board in all aspects.
From the first 'phone call to installation, nothing was left unexplained.

It’s been easy and quick from the beginning. We’ve had a bad experience with another company but JEL have done an excellent job installing our solar panels and battery. Both Alex and HJ have been super helpful in advising us and making sure everything runs smoothly. Every single worker did a very clean and professional job and they were incredibly friendly.
