SCAM ALERT! Beware this operator.

TLDR: dont book their service if you want a reliable and punctual transportation service. Ubers are way more reliable.

I paid more than $550 for a "luxury van" to take me from Manhattan to JFK Airport, scheduled for 4pm on 26 Dec 2023.

The “luxury van” did not show up. Despite me calling the Jet black office multiple times, the driver was apparently uncontactable. The office also did not send any replacement driver. After waiting close to half an hour, family family and i hopped into a couple of Uber XLs (which took 2mins to arrive) to get to the airport. If i had waited any longer for Jet black, i would definitely have missed my international flight.

Terribly disappointed in the service (or lack there of) that Jetblack provided. And they claim to be a luxury transportation service. Absolutely rubbish. They’ve got zero reliability and i regret booking with them

(UPDATED REVIEW IN RESPONSE TO OPERATOR's REPLY): It is a bald-faced lie in your claim that I booked the transport for 8.30pm instead of 4pm. I have uploaded evidence of my correspondence with your operator indicating that my reservation is for 4pm, as proof that you are lying.

So not only is your company unreliable, you are also DISHONEST. Wow. Please beware this operator

Used jet black for the second time on our Christmas trip to NYC.
A terrific service, on time, courteous, reliable and friendly.

Booked before we travelled to New York. Driver was in regular contact and car was very clean & comfortable. Very handy having tolls & gratuity included in the price as this makes things easier after a long flight. Highly recommend & may use again for our return journey (Confirmation number 33699)

Hours before my reservation, I received the driver's contact information. This was terrific! I also received a notification that the driver was in route to the pick up spot. Everything was very professional, and I never had to worry. I appreciated that jet black insisted on having my flight info and made sure everything was done smoothly.

Terrible car company. Do not use JetBlack Transportation.
We waited to get picked up at MetLife Stadium for more than 90 minutes and the driver never arrived. He kept texting me telling us to walk to various lots but then he wasn't there when we arrived, and said he was told to move. For some reason, he would not go to the official pick-up lot where the Stadium signs said for cars to pick up and instead he kept telling us to walk to other lots. It was freezing cold and after midnight, but we were being so patient with him and went to all the lots he told us to go to. Then after we walked for more than a mile around the stadium for more than 90 minutes, he said his office canceled the ride so he wasn't coming after all!
So we had to call a Lyft at 1am, which luckily to find us in only 6 minutes since that driver went to the actual pick-up lot where cars were allowed in and where all the signs said to go.
THEN, the Worst part, the company has the gall to bill me for the ride anyway. I wasn't going to bother reviewing them, but then they lied to AmEx and claimed that I no-showed the ride when I have dozens of text messages from both the driver and their office that night showing that they are lying. They responded to my google review claiming that they had refunded me, but after AmEx decided in my favor, they charged my card again! They are just plain dishonest.
JetBlack is a scam. For all I know, they never even sent a driver to us.
They make you send them an email ahead of time authorizing them to charge your credit card, and they sent that email to AmEx to claim that I had approved the charge despite not getting the ride I had hired them for.
Do NOT use Jet Black. They will not show up and will charge you anyway!

The pick up was an absolute nightmare. I received an e-mail stating your driver is on route and phone him. It took us one hour and 40 minutes to get through New York (JFK) passport control. We then received a call from the 'The Limousine Company' asking "where are we were and can I phone the driver as he can not accept international calls". Which is did, but it was utter confusion between the head office, the driver, and us.

We eventually found the driver who was not happy and very rude, it made a very poor start to our trip to New York. So...so...rude.

This was made worse as i was informed that i would be charged for 'waiting'.

Please note: I booked transportation for 6 adults and 6 cases (2 adults dropped out), and we still struggled to get everything in to the vehicle. The driver was very rude and did not speak to us for our drive to our hotel (Park Central).

It was easier, quicker, and better all round to book the return trip via the Yellow Cab, a flat rate (cheaper) with a driver you provided good conversation and a smile.

Recommendation: Your drivers should phone the customer, provide a detailed kerbside location for pickup, example - outside terminal 8 at pick up C in 20 minutes.

And finally, treat your pickups like customers should be treated, with a smile, respect and courtesy. It was a horrible start to our trip to New York.

I was able to get a ride with my family and cancelled on 48 hours ahead of my ride and these people charged me 30$. They then blamed me for not being aware of their cancellation fee! I have NEVER heard of a car service charging a cancellation fee unless the ride was canceled within 24 hours. I’ll never use this company and I recommend you don’t either

Tuergan, our driver, was fantastic. He was very helpful with our very heavy luggage, polite, kind and very communicative prior to pick. The agency was very professional and kept us informed and was easily reachable. The SUV was clean,comfortable and a quality ride. We would highly recommend them.

Great experience and well worth it. Car was on time, helpful with luggage and van was clean.

Arrived and called driver only to receive voicemail. Waited, no response called company. Waited for next available agent for several minutes then told to leave message. Called driver again and left 2nd message. Driver called another several minutes later and said he would be right there. After another ten minute wait he arrived. In my opinion he was disheveled, shirt half in and half out, shoelaces untied and baseball cap worn backwards. The car was clean, the steering wheel cover was a mess and even Uber offers water. His driving was acceptable. Never got a reply from the message left with the company.

Extremely uncomfortable experience as the driver got into heated arguments with taxi drivers - end up with things were thrown and our limo driver did nothing to deescalate the situation – on the contrary… with us in the car he stopped and threw liquid at a taxi driver who in return smashed the left front window.
All in all a terrible and frightening experience leading to tears and motion sickness as the driver was so aggravated from his arguments with the taxi drivers, that he did not take care of us, accelerated very aggressively and breaking hard at the same time… worst experience ever.
Besides this… meet and greet means wait for 15 at the curb, no room for the luggage, had to take 1 suitcase and all carry-ons in the lime together with a childseat (not ours) – leaving not much room for the 6 of us.
And now.. almost 1 week after the incident – no feeback on our complaint!

5 stars! Driver was timely, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended!

I booked a ride (conf #19405) from JFK to NJ for my employer twice (once in February and once last weekend). On both occasions, he related that the ride was stellar. He appreciated the cleanliness of the car, the punctuality and overall professionalism of the driver. On the last occasion, I had to add a passenger at the last minute and the process was seamless. The process was very easy. My only advice is to book a week in advance if you can as I am sure that contributes to the smoothness of the process. We will use the service again.

Horrible!!!! We have never been to NYC or JFK, so we asked that the driver come into the airport. Well that did not happen! He called my husband in Florida to tell us that he was outside the airport. My husband called me. We went outside. We did not know where to go,. there was no sign in the car telling us the car was for us. The driver never opened the door. We sat with our bags on our laps. So unprofessional. He had no personality.
The drive back to JFK was more of a nightmare. He was 30 minutes late because of a supposed flat tire. He was rude to us and said Come on hurry up and get in. Just like before our bag on our lap. After we got out of the city he was speeding. It was scary going through the tunnel. We got to the airport and he said that this may not be the right terminal. Go in and see, he said and I will wait. Well it was the wrong terminal and we went back outside and he was gone!! His name was Tarek Hassan. Do not use this company. Worst driver experience ever. Never again!!!!!

Smooth process all throughout. They reassured me about my booking and made sure I had confirmation on who would be my driver. It was easy to book, get in touch with my driver and comfortable ride to my destination. Reliable and a good service. (Reservation 18400)
