Absolutely don’t waste your time find someone else this firm can’t and don’t communicate total crap coumpany

Great service, couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Had a towbar fitted all OK until we got to the dedicated wiring harness, originally came with the wrong one, came a few days later to fit the harness only to find some of the features on a 13 pin connector not working. Just like the other reviews no replies to phone calls or text messages. Now asking Barclays to reverse the payment, would not recommend!!!

They fitted a tow bar in August 2022 and were very good. Last week (June 2025), we wanted the electrical connection changed on a vehicle we had just purchased. We phoned and they sent a message. We phoned them as we wondered if we could use the electrics from the original tow bar. They didn't respond. We phoned and phoned. We sent a message with pics. No response at all. Hopeless. We went somewhere else.

Very good job at fitting a good detachable tow bar with dedicated wiring. Competitive price and very easy to arrange and have fitted at home. Thanks

I phoned to request check of electrics to Towbar and was asked to phone back as diary was not available. Since I have phoned on numerous occasions snd call has gone straight to voicemail. Calls have never been returned, also sent message through their website

From original discussions & fitting excellent service. Neil, their fitter, exude a very professional persona which straight away was very reassuring. Set about the installation without any fuss or bother which was completed in just under two hours. Have no hesitation of recommending ‘Jim’s Towbars’.

Excellent communication professional service , gave a competitive quote for the product required, turned up on time and got on with it right away. On completion explained how to remove and replace the tow hook and in case of any issues just give us a call. Highly recommend if you need towbar fitting services.
