Scam site - avoid!

Phishing emails. Dont fall for it

Obviously a scam. Like SLTH below, I received an unsolicited email from a site purportedly linked to UAE, about jobs with Tesco in the UK (alarm bell 1).

I quickly checked their Top Level Domain. It's a rubbish unsecured site, seemingly designed by a 5 year old, with no About info (alarm bells 2 & 3).

Finally, I had to laugh when I re-read the e-mail "Cynthia J. // Manager - Candidate Search" and "We are not a recruitment company and we don't recruit candidates" almost right next to each other in the blurb at the bottom (alarm bell 4). Ha ha ha!

I receive this today. Assume that the DubaiJobsPlus.com people are the same as the DubaiJobs.com crew well reviewed on here. They're now active quoting UK Companies have openings now. Just received this stating Tesco have lots of jobs-there's a link 'just for me' [not accessed]. I won't be dealing with them.

I just got a call from Canada indicating that 11 companies are interested in me and he did a small interview with me over the phone. It seemed legit so I proceeded with the conversation. However he told me in order for the companies to contact me I need to pay 85Canadian dollars. I said I was on a job site and I cannot do that now. I told him give me an hour where I will be back in my office to properly go through the transaction.
The man tried to frighten me and told me that this conversation is recorded and all the companies are hearing my conversation right now.
I told him im sorry but this is a money transaction and Im not in a position to do it now. Sorry.
The man got aggressive and told me if I don't do it now I wont be considered. Then i realize this was not sounding too legit. I told him very well then. If you cannot wait then Im sorry Im not interested. Goodbye.

I mean if indeed they are finding jobs for persons and they just want to make money from doing so. Then clearly they are going about it the wrong way. Quite frankly I don't have a problem paying an agency for finding a job for me but they need to be more professional than that. I don't even care if I don't get back the money but the approach tells me that they just want my money and they wouldn't even get me a job.

I received an email from this company however, luckily I recognised this as a scam straight away basically, due to my previous employment history! NEVER EVER PAY ANYONE to register your details for job opportunities. Reputable employment agencies do not do this! Reputable ones will have a history with certain companies, esp if they are advertising specifically for UAE positions, they are paid handsomely for any candidate they help achieve employment. If they wish to change your CV this is entirely up to them, you do not have to agree to this! Also, any certificates, legal documents and/or visas will be covered in their commission once you commence employment. Reputable companies do everything so that you feel comfortable being represented by them and encourage you in every step. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO SCAM YOU! If you have been scammed and they are hounding you for more money and threatening you, block all their attempts at contacting you. The threats are empty, they cannot and will not follow through with them 1) because its illegal and 2) they have absolutely no authority to do so!! Ignore them, you will not get into any trouble. Their tactics are to scare you into thinking they have power when infact, they have none.

I applied for a teaching job through Jobsindubai and was contacted by ‘Abraham’. He said my application was successfully and 7 companies want to interview me. I was instantly suspicious because I’ve been rejected from other recruitment websites as I do not hold teaching qualifications, only experience. He went on to tell me about the amazing package they would offer with minimum of £60k salary which could go up to £100k (highly unrealistic). Then he told me to make an official registration account with a fee of £55 which acts as a deposit and will be refunded if I don’t get the job. I mentioned I will do it later as I was working and had a meeting soon but he continued to be extremely pushy and said it cannot be done through the website and I need to make the payment over the phone. He called me again after my meeting and I answered to tell him I won’t be going ahead as I knew it was a scam then he started shouting over the phone and saying how I’ve wasted his time etc. If they are trying to pretend to be a recruitment agency they could’ve at least attempted to keep their professional acting skills in tact. I exposed them saying you are scamming people I will report you and he continued to argue violently until I cut off.
It’s extremely unfortunate for people who are in difficult situations trying to get employed. I hope this review will help others!

A guy named Rafik called me for a football coaching job in Dubai, enquired about my experience and said I fit the profile. He outlined the job requirements and the benefits. THEN HE SPOKE ABOUT a payment I needed to make of which I'll get refunded once I get paid my 1st salary. I've worked in Saudi before never have I had to pay for a job or Visa processing. Rafik was insisting that I click the link and pay immediately to which I was hesitant and told him I need a few days to think this out. Luckily I saw this post afterwards !

Dear friends I hope so you will find it useful all mistakes I made. I did apply for few jobs, and one day I got a call from Sharon who start saying that I get a job but I need to pay 66 Euros or 85 Canadian dollars. After one day I get a call from another lady who saying that director of "Atlas Tree Palms" hotel will have interview with me, but I need to pay around 400 dollars, because they need to make certificates and papers to proceed to interview. One day after that, I get another call from Mark Garcia, and he was saying that they have another position but I need to pay 300dollars more. I told him that I don't have so much money in my pocket and I ask how much I need to pay totally and he said around 1.000 dollars. After that I pay them maybe around 180 and I read reviews, late but better ever than never. When I stopped paying them and when I ask for money they start being rude. They did send me some kind of sertificate which probably all of us can made if you have program for that. I did have some kind of interview with Mr. Mark, but he is not MR. at all. He ask me some questions and that's it. When I stopped paying them, they tried to call me on Skype, but I never answer. They also was calling everyday.
They even was saying that I will have ban for entering in UAE. And you can see the way writing without any punctuation marks. I also inform PayPal regarding their account but they never answer. I will copy some of our emails.

We can file your name with the FBI also ( you would never be able to enter the UAE )
we can file your name with the DUBAI COURTS
we can file your name with the DUBAI police
we can put your name on a ban list with the UAE immigration
ISLAMIC LAWS in DUBAI are very strict when it comes to owing money, you owe us money for services, it will not be free to you
( IF I DO THE above , you will never ever be able to get a job in Dubai or enter Dubai )
the most i will do is refund HALF after 6 months, the other HALF will be kept to cover our costs of services

2) Hotel manages will NEVER reply to you and NEVER listen to you and NEVER EVER show you any agreement EVER
3) You will NEVER talk to our administrators NEVER, EVER
if we contact your CEO everyday and file complaints, its very possible you will lose your present job with mobile outfitters
2) we can put you on a ban list with he UAE immigration' ( YOU WILL THEN NEVER BE ABALE TO GET A VISA AND WORK IN DUBAI )
you know ( NOTHING ) about islamic laws, ZERO NOTHING

When i first spoke to JID over the phone to enquire about their services the call landed in KOLKATA, West Bengal, India. ( I still have the number and the girl who always picked up the call was named Dipanjali )
I made a payment of 10,000 INR and registered with JID on 8th Feb,2017 after being promised that i would receive a File Number that would be forwarded to Employers once i register.
On the 8th of August, 2017 completed 6months since was registered to JID with no signs of a job offer.
I requested for the refund online and they also wrote back saying that my account with them remains active till and unless i don't receive the full refund and that it could take 6-8 weeks till my refund is processed.

One can see the date today and imagine how we are all being cheated.
I have screenshots to back up all that i have written here.

This is a scam and they are fraudulent as well. Bunch of Filipinos picking up the call and answering queries. Website is fake... with authentic companies and job profiles posted on it... On Investigation with U.A.E, Ministry Of Interior, ..it was found that none of these companies have posted in that job portal.

Their USP that $92 will be returned within 6 months of not landing the job has not been fulfilled to many candidates for almost 3 years.

Currently they are under scanner by the
U.A.E and Canadian governments. It is just a matter of time.

Someone called me on today from Canada to ask me to pay immediately 85 Canadian dollars.
He said a company was interested in my profile, but I didnt even send my resume...
I said I needed time to think about it and he became aggressive.
The conversation became crazy.
Dont trust them please.

Like others here, i was called TWICE asking for payment. I deferred them,. I have since gone back into my UNACTIVATED account and changed all my contact information and deleted my CV and contact number. I have also blocked them on my phone...

Same thing happened to me like Kirya and Gloria. They are liar and cheating, very rude, they just want money. First payment CAD 85 for registration account second payment CAD 95 for verification of my certificate??? What the hell? Who are they to verify my certificate. When I refused to pay, they non stop calling and saying that I'm not responsible, make them in trouble. I wonder why no authorities take action against this liars
