The whole happy thought of purchasing a budgie was completely ruined....
I was interrogated about which cage I had,which food cuttlefish etc...then when I tried to choose 2 budgies was told my rather large cage was not big enough I could only have 1 bird...
Told about aerosols plugins etc
Radiators windows...came away feeling really disappointed 😞 with a sad and lonely baby bird ,which had been in a very much smaller enclosure In the shop with friends...I wanted 2 so they had each others company as I'm away most the day.....
That wasn't asked or if I had a cat or other animals....
It was a really unhappy purchase which I had actually been looking forward too...would not recommend to friends or family !

The staff asked lots questions about where I was going to keep them and mention about to leave them for 2-7days before handling them and she was very professional about it

Good selection of dog treats, toys ,and parrot toys. Small store but a lot packed in for all animals . Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Happy customer

went in to ask for a tarantula, spoke to kat and she showed us the little pink toed tarantula, told me absolutely everything about caring for it, its habitat, substrate, feeding, humidity. really good experience with them, happy and healthy spider and settling into her new home!!

The staff were knowledgeable which was helpful but every time we have got a pet from there, there have been several staff whose manner is always a bit abrupt. It feels as if they don’t want you to buy a pet. You pick up things to get your pet that are labelled for that animal and they tell you not to get it really abruptly because it isn’t good for them. This is helpful, but the abrupt manner and the fact it’s labelled for that animal is not great. The main lady (think she was in charge) who eventually sold us our pets was lovely and really helpful. The other ladies need to work on their manner.

Visited Cadbury Garden Centre in Congresbury with my 5 year old who was looking to get his first pet. The staff were so helpful - the girl who served me went above and beyond. Made my son feel safe whilst handling the animal. Couldn’t speak more highly.
