Amazing, we were so happy with the music

After finding it really hard to find a DJ I’m so glad we went with Jonny Ross music, our dance floor was never empty and our DJ knew exactly which song to play next to keep everyone dancing. The saxophone player was amazing and everyone commented on what a great addition he was. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Kyle was a huge part of that.

My DJ, Matty, was absolutely fantastic!
He was in contact with me weeks before the event and made a note of all my song requests.
On the night of the event, Matty was punctual, organised and set up in good time before my guests arrived.
He was very friendly and made me feel reassured that everything was in-hand music wise.
The song playlist flowed well throughout the party and any song requests my guests made were quickly fulfilled, making it an enjoyable evening for everyone.
I must also thank Matty for being the judge of our fancy dress competition - a duty I don’t think he expected to have that night!
Overall, my 30th birthday party was a fantastic evening and I’d definitely recommend/use Jonny Ross again!

We booked northern house band via Jonny Ross for our wedding and oh my goodness - they were amazing! They are just like no one else we came across when we were looking for entertainment, they not only sound unbelievable but have such a varied (and current!) song list that they just really stood out from anyone else.

We booked the full day package with a DJ and sax option and truly from start to finish they were just pure perfection! From playing the most beautiful ceremony music and gorgeous afternoon drinks reception, right through to having everyone on the dance floor all night and ending on the most epic rendition of sun goes down by arctic monkeys (perfect for our Sheffield crowd!) we couldn’t have wished for more. Matthew the saxophonist was also fantastic and was such a fun surprise for our guests. We’re still getting compliments from our friends and family weeks later about how great they all were!

Kyle and the team at Jonny Ross also made the process so so easy and clear for us, communication was perfect from start to finish with both Jonny Ross and the band, and would thoroughly recommend for any event. You won’t regret it!

We booked Northern House Band with Jonny Ross Music for our wedding in June 2026 in the Lake District. We had done our research and knew the band would be good from their socials, but we hadn’t appreciated just how good!!!!

To start, the band performed the music for our First Dance and it could not have been more perfect. They did our favourite song proud.

The band then moved seamlessly into the setlist that we had agreed with them ahead of time. They were so amenable in switching out a couple of songs to match our personalities and tastes and even agreed to a couple of requests. There was something for everyone and everyone LOVED it. It was a hot evening and despite that, guests were leaving the cool breeze outside to come and enjoy the music and dance with us.

We loved every minute and would recommend Northern House Band to anyone looking for a band who can nail literally everything.

Aside from the music, the band and Jonny Ross Music were a pleasure to work with in the lead up to the wedding and were very patient and helpful with any questions.

The Northern House Band were absolutely amazing for our wedding on the 10th of July 2026.

We had so many compliments throughout the night and after the wedding about how incredible the band were. They created a wonderful atmosphere and kept the dance floor full throughout their entire performance. They truly are a talented group and we are so glad we chose them for our special day.

The band clearly communicated with us prior to the wedding and were super helpful throughout the process. They even adjusted the set list to include a couple of personal requests which helped make the evening even more special.

Jonny Ross and the big shout band were just incredible. There was a meeting before the wedding to talk through what we wanted, and then fabulous communication throughout.

I have to comment particularly on the Big Shout and Liam. The dance floor was full from the second they sang to the end of the DJ set at midnight. They had taken the songs we suggested and made a perfect DJ playlist that suited our style and all the live music was unbelievable. Everyone said how brilliant they were and I can’t fault them. Thank you for also learning our first dance live it meant the world to us. We can’t thank you enough! The Powells

Katie and the band were so friendly and professional and accommodated all our requests as best as they can. Needless to say they sounded amazing and we are very grateful that we managed to booked them for the full day package with only 6 months notice!

Lauren was our wedding DJ and from our first email with Jonny Ross Music to the wedding day they were friendly and professional. We had a phonecall with Lauren before the wedding so we could have a chat and go through our music choices, and were also able to send over a list of must play/do not play songs.

On the day Lauren arrived on time and setup without any interruption to the wedding breakfast or speeches.

She checked in with us that we were ready for the first dance and took requests from our guests during the evening.

Rolling Keys are absolutely awesome. Amazing from start to finish. We could not have picked a better band. Sarah is brilliant.

Everyone thought it was a masterstroke and I can honestly say it was the best bit of DJ’ing I have borne witness to at any such event…nightclub-esque. It got plenty of folks on the dancefloor right up to midnight and we’re all still aching from our exploits.
