This was the worst experience they are a total scam. They sent me the wrong costume then they were gonna reimburse me and never have that was suppose to be in my account 12 hours later. The number they give you they dont call back, they sent a text message and the number said it was from google. If they had zero stars they would get it. You can never talk to anyone, not american made which the size you order is 3x's smaller then what its suppose to be. For the money it was cheaply made. Never Again. This is your warning Folks😡😡as i was writing this my refund came through

Poor communication

I emailed about expected delivery day, which with the expedited shipping would have been in the next few days, and without any explanation they refunded my money... I guess I should be happy about THAT. Was really looking forward to dressing up for son's bday party.

I ordered one costume (porky pig) from Joymascot, ordered Sylvester, Tweety and Bugs Bunny from T-Rex mascot 7-28-2021. On 8/16 from Joymascot I received the Sylvester Costume that was ordered from T-Rex. (See my issues)
On 8-24 I received Tweety and Bugs Bunny, which were badly beaten and damaged I assume from going through customs. I have repeatedly emailed both companies and Joymascot will only say the pig was delivered on 8-16.. I am still currently fighting this battle as this was almost a 300.00 costume

THEY DONT SEND WHAT THEY ADVETISE! BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE! What is listed on their website is NOT what they send you! I purchased an Olaf Mascot and what I got was NOT what was shown. The head I got was down right creepy becuase no matter what you do, people can see eyes staring out of Olafs mouth! The head was mis shaped and unable to be fixed because of the type of material it was made of. And the nose was sewn completely down to the head from the top to the tip! It looks like a dollar tree stuffed animal and very stupid! When I reached out to them, they just said "try and fix it" ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! For the expensive price I paid, I shouldn't have to fix it becuase I should have gotten the product I was advertised!! Had I known I was going to get a, mis-shapen, unalterable, creepy head that has eyes staring out from its mouth with no attempt to cover it, I'd have not ordered it! I will definitely be filing a fraud charge with my bank.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM JOY MASCOT!

Still have not recieved my order from months ago! I don't believe I'll be getting it. I've done some research and the website claims the business is ran out of San Jose, California but is being shipped out of China. You also go to call the customer service number and that's based out of Wisconsin and you never get an answer. Major scam here with people filling in false reviews.

Do not Buy!!

I purchased a costume for my son. They sent the wrong size and when I emailed them about it they said that the can reimburse me $50 to have it altered the costume was so expensive and it would cost way more to have it altered. Worst!!

HORRIBLE service!!

HORRIBLE service!!! I would NEVER order from Joy Mascot! I ordered a Minnie Mouse mascot on March 21st, It showed delivered on April 22 but I never received it. They were emailing me but have since stopped responding. I only purchased from them because on their website it says they are in San Jose, CA only to find out it's shipping from China. I even expedited the shipping and it still took a month. Do NOT EVER purchase ANYTHING from this company!

Omg some of these reviews now have me scare I ordered on April 1 and they said they shipped on April 7 and I haven’t heard anything sense my package hasn’t moved and I email them everyday and get the same responds be patient we urge express delivery I needed this costume for a big event on April 26 and by the looks of These reviews IM sure won’t be getting it 😞

I placed my order for a mascot February 7,2021 I contacted Joymascot to see if I can get a tracking # or see if they sent my item out as of yet on February 17,2021 the company sends a text saying they sent it / complete on 8/02/21 how is that? That’s ridiculous I will be contacting my bank to reverse payment and also the BBB,, bad business

Be Patient - Now Is A Special Time

I contacted them by email when my order was late and they told me to "be patient, now is a special time" (their words) and assured me it would be expedited. Two more weeks and it still has not shipped. Demanded refund, no response.

Awful! Don’t buy

Awful!! I own a party rental business, I emailed the company before deciding to purchase. They assured me the mascot/characters were as advertised. I paid $100 extra for expedited shipping. Both characters I ordered were smashed and taped down to fit in the tiniest boxes. I emailed them immediately they offered $100 to have the characters altered? Noooooooo. Joy Mascots we telling me that once I ship them back and pay fees I will lose money. The characters are stitched together loosely and also hot glued.
They will not respond to my emails!! Buyer beware.
I will not removed my review until my money is returned to my account.

I wish they had option 0 star! I have purchased 2 mascot costumes (Mickey and Minnie) and seller guaranteed to have it delivered by February 7th. By february 7th, I have only received one (1) costume (Minnie) - btw horrible quality, the costume stink with mildew and some fabric was popping up. Since then, I have been in contact with seller and asking for ETA for the second costume or for refund - which he proved later he will refund, but never did.
Now, the seller does not communicate with me and leaves my messages unanswered. Randomly he said the item is being shipped to you - but I dont want it anymore - I no longer need it - I moved out from the location he is trying to ship to - I needed it by feb 7, and he failed to deliver it on time my full purchase.- I gave up contacting the seller as he response not all the time, and when he does he tells me different things. I dont want anything else, i just want to get my money for what I have never received! This is a big scamm! Stay away -find a different seller - Do NOT BUY ! You will never see your full purchase and your money are waisted for nothing!

Think twice before purchasing, 🚩red flags are for real!

I hate to give bad reviews but I tried to do my research on what to expect when making this purchase, so I want to help others.

I was worried about this purchase from the start since so many of the mascot websites look almost identical and carry the same products.

I decided to use JoyMascot and made my purchase ignoring red flags and hoping they would deliver (even if a little late) because there are very few other places to get a costume like this affordably online. I couldn't find anywhere more reputable to get this from and it is essential to a future marketing campaign.

I followed up with an email to see if I could get a response from customer service and I was encouraged as i got a response pretty quick.

I knew going in that there would be a delay in delivery. This was another red flag I noticed before purchase but all these sites including joymascot said delivery would be delayed due to "the factory moving."

Customer service was helpful everytime I reached. About a month after order, I received the inevitable delays email. This was fine as long as they stuck to the dates.

About a week before our delivery date, the money was refunded and the purchase cancelled.

Unfortunately, this isn't a casual purchase and we were depending upon this costume for a marketing campaign set to start. We have now lost more than a month of precious time, and have to try and figure out other plans.

It's clear this order was never started and there was little true intent to deliver. I told customer service that the order should have never been taken if this was the case.

I would recommend to anyone to expect massive delays at best and that it is highly doubtful that the product will even start fabrication and even more doubtful that it will be delivered at all.

I hesitate to call this a scam because I did receive my money back but it was a terrible experience and has cost me precious time.

I highly recommend NOT ordering from JoyMascot.

***In response to sellers reply, It is not true at all that I didn't reply to three emails as the seller as stated. I hate to give bad reviews but I won't stand for lies either. No vendor refunds money this way in any case. They deliver the product as purchased. It's best if you just own up to supply chain issues and work on fixing those instead of making up lies.

Joy Mascot is a great mascot company

Joy Mascot is a great mascot company. I did have issues from the get go but JoyMascot always responded my emails and had a solution for me. I was scared at first because they number was a google voice number but when I emailed them, they responded same day. Mascots are great quality and we got them REAL quick. Thank you JoyMascot.

They Delivered the Goods

I needed a realistic bear costume for an important event on 21 December 2019 and Joy Mascot had the best looking one I could find online. When I placed my order through PayPal and the business name came back in Chinese, I was concerned. I knew nothing about the reputation of Joy Mascot and a delivery from China could take a long time. 10 days later when my realistic bear costume had not arrived, my concern became full-blown worry. I contacted Joy Mascot through their website and was happily surprised when they emailed and texted me back right away. After some going back and forth about them sending the costume to me by 21 December, they promised they would get it to me in time. I received the costume on 19 December via UPS, and I was very pleased with it. It is a good quality costume and they paid the rush-delivery cost to make sure I got it in time. Not nearly as fast as Amazon, but they delivered the goods. I would happily order from Joy Mascot again.

I wouldn’t give joy mascot a star if one wasn’t required that’s how low their service is.
NEVER BUY FROM THEM!
Waste or time and waste of money.
I ordered my unicorn mascot the beginning of November it is already the end.
The reason I ordered from JoyMascot is because on the website it stated they are San Jose based and ship their products from there. If I was informed they order from China I would have just ordered from China for half the price.
STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY UNICORN MASCOT
I email and I call joy mascot does not even value their customers to at least have a real phone number it is a google voice phone number they respond to the first email to let you think they are a good company then don’t respond anymore they also send you a text asking how can they help and do not respond afterwards.
