As many others have mentioned I just received an "invoice" from this company. Never heard of them before- don't even know what they sell. I sent an email to their alleged Jumpcut support email address demanding they confirm this was sent in error and also tried the 213-344-0655 number only to hear from their voicemail "Sorry the number you have called is currently busy- please try your call again later" What a bunch of low lifes. SCAM!!!!!

Hi there — the good news is the invoice is not real, we did not send it, and you will not be charged anything. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Last week, we found out that our email provider was hacked and sent out a fake invoice to everybody on our list. Luckily, they only got access to our email provider and nothing else.

We are VERY diligent when it comes to security and password protection (not even our own team members know the actual passwords because we use Lastpass). So we are extremely surprised that this happened.

We sent out an update email 45 minutes after this happened, changed our home page to an update page (https://jumpcut.com/deleteinvoice), and did our best to quickly respond to the thousands of customer support tickets that flooded our inboxes.

It's certainly depressing that somebody would try to do this during a worldwide pandemic…but unfortunately, there's always going to be people out there that try to take advantage of others during shitty circumstances.

It's actually not that difficult to send emails that LOOK legit (they're using the correct domain). Vox made a video a week ago warning people that scammers can send fake emails from the WHO (if you're curious about seeing how, watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CrbHvbvvMw)

Please let me know if you have any other questions! This is definitely a disappointing situation for everybody involved, but we're doing our best to ensure everybody that was impacted has received an answer.

I've never signed up for anything nor have I authorized any charges of any kind.
I've already forwarded the invoice back to your secondary support email since the correspondent link was broken as was the invoice link from intuit books. I'm currently on the phone, going to speak with a banking representative to launch an investigation into this personal matter.

Very shallow and basic tutorials which you can get for free online. You will just get generic common sense lectures that doesn't teach you any skill. There is no trial period so if you decide it is not for you, it will be very hard to get out of. They won't give you a refund until you complete all assignments. Total scam in my view.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. They make money off of robbing the poor and the vulnerable by making such convincing ads that will make you feel like your life is going to change completely. For someone vulnerable of course it's going to seem amazing. I myself got scammed by this company when I was at my most vulnerable state. I hope they get shut down and if they don't just know that what goes around will eventually come back around.

Jumpcat is offensive

I enrolled in a 4 video free training in Summer 2018: they didn't say anything specific, it was more of a promotion of their paid course. Then extremely offensive video ads of Kong started appearing on YouTube: 'life is slapping you across your stupid little face', 'your parents are stupid', 'face it, you suck at making YouTube videos' and another one with Kong sitting on a toilet. I couldn't care less whether this guy claims to make money on YouTube or not, I will not give a cent to anyone as indecent as that

There's no reason to stop dreaming

I was reaching out to you guys about me being in a situation where my mother couldn't pay for the program anymore due to some economical fall back. She was demanding that I'd cancel with you guys but she didn't understand the contract. I later get the ray of hope that was being allowed an option to pay less and I've been working my eyebrows out ever since doing mini jobs to be able to keep taking the course which is helping me making my youtube business and understanding possible.

During those times Sev was helping me out and explaining to me in detail how things could work and would allow me to keep taking the course. Every question I had, answered in the most respectful and knowledgeable way possible. Due to the ticket traffic jam season it took a while for a response at a time. But I have NO COMPLAINTS. I patiently waited and they did respond to me on time. When it arrived, here in Puerto Rico we've been experiencing 6.5 magnitude earthquakes sporadically from time to time. So the stress of me loosing power while waiting for the response was there. But eventually Geo came in and patched all the final details about payment and availability to start on my new path.

I clarified that even with the foundation I stand on is literally shaking to stop me from following my dream. Geo's encouraging words gave me strength to keep pursuing my dreams and help me see I wasn't irrational on persevering through this situation.

I want to express myself and do what I love. Not fall into the caging pattern of working 40 hours a week for just $7.25 an hour and be expected to live independently with that money.

Your team is amazing and they all deserve the best vacations.

I am forever grateful and pleased with your service.

10/10

AWESOME customer support!

I had an issue with the payment, and the customer service team was so extraordinarily helpful! Myk was helpful and fast, but this one is especially to commend AA for being so thorough and setting my heart at rest. It's hard to trust some online entity, and when I wanted a refund, AA replied, acknowledging the request, and thoroughly explained what had happened, what is going on, and when I can expect it. Kudos! Never expected to be this impressed by a customer service rep! Truly, I'd buy AA a cake for this.
