One of the positives of moving house is that when a Cordon Bleu chef @k1tchen.3xperience comes to cook your ‘farewell meal’, he has a clean slate to work on.

This was the perfect last Sunday meal to say goodbye and thank you, thank you, thank you to our lovely London home for looking after us for 12 years.

This was the best way to end an era. Jo was a very efficient, clean cook, who not only cooked us delicious food, but involved us as well. He also chose some excellent cheeses and red and white wines to accompany the food.

You know it was a good meal because not only were all plates polished off, but my mum (my mum!!!) had seconds and Nick had thirds.

Incredible Private Dining Experience with Chef Jo!

We had the pleasure of hosting a private dining evening at our home with Chef Jo, and it was fantastic! Chef Jo created a beautiful 4-course menu for four of us, each dish crafted to perfection and paired with amazing South African wines that elevated the entire experience for us South Africans.

From start to finish, Chef Jo’s and his colleague’s attention to detail was impeccable. Every course was not only delicious but a true work of art, and Chef Jo took the time to introduce each dish, sharing insights into the ingredients and preparation.

It felt like we were transported to a fine dining restaurant in the comfort of our own home! The Dover Sole was outstanding. I can only recommend that dish.
The wine pairings were spot on and perfectly matched to each course, enhancing the flavours in ways we hadn’t experienced before.

Chef Jo’s expertise, skill, and passion for cooking shone through every detail, creating an unforgettable evening for us.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, luxurious dining experience at home. We can’t wait to do this again!

We recently enjoyed a private dining experience with a personal chef who came to our home to prepare a stunning 5-course meal for my six guests, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment the chef Jo arrived, we knew we were in good hands. They handled everything seamlessly, transforming our kitchen into a professional setup without any fuss.
Each course was a work of art, bursting with incredible flavours, especially the Salmon Tartare. The chef’s attention to detail was remarkable, and they introduced each dish with a background that made the evening feel even more special. Every course was perfectly timed and beautifully presented, leaving us in awe at each stage of the meal.
The service was top-notch, with the chef and their assistant making sure we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. It felt like being in a high-end restaurant without leaving our home.
I would highly recommend this private chef experience to anyone looking for a unique and memorable way to celebrate a special occasion. We were left amazed and are already looking forward to our next event!

The whole experience was amazing. Truly out of this world. The table presentation was stunning, the wine well matched to the most delicious french cuisine
Each course he gave a small presentation on what he had cooked and how and why he had paired it with the selected wine.
My guests were totally overwhelmed with the event. It was an unbelievable experience to be repeated

Chef Jo recently prepared a French feast for me and three friends, and it was an amazing experience. He created a six-course menu and paired each course with excellent wine. The ingredients were top-notch, evident from their freshness and taste. Chef Jo was very engaging, sharing the history of some dishes, which we found fascinating. My favourites were the beef tartar, sirloin steak strips, and scallops. The cheese selection for the cheese plate was exceptional as well! To our surprise, he and his sous chef also cleaned up the entire kitchen, which was incredibly kind. We requested they bring their own plates, napkins, and tablecloth since we didn’t have fancy ones, and they gladly accommodated. Highly recommend them!

We had chef Jo cater for a private dinner party at home. What a wonderful experience it turned out to be! The food was incredible and the service flawless. So much attention to detail: the table setting, the wine selection, the food presentation... We in particular enjoyed chef Jo talking a little about each dish as it was being served. The chefs took over the kitchen to prepare the meal a few hours in advance and left it sparkling clean once finished. Chef Jo was also very approachable and helpful when we first met to talk through the menu options, with wonderful suggestions that did not disappoint. The beef tartare was a guest favourite, and the dover sole was exquisite. It was truly a fine dining experience at home. Would highly recommend.

Great overall experience! Very professional Chef with a lot of fantastic menu ideas. The Dover sole was delicious as well as the roasted potatoes. And honestly, the Tarte Tartin was the best I have ever tried. A cordon bleu dinner in the comfort of my own house, my guests were extremely impressed.

The experience was magnificent with rich quality dishes seen through the beef tartare. Throughout the whole evening Chef Jo explained each dish in great detail and dishes were presented in a beautiful manner. I would highly recommend this experience. I will be doing it again!
