The money transfer process is essentially very smooth and efficient. The only downside can be the occasional compliance checks. Not that they are always onerous, but you do have to watch out for them delaying your transaction. If it was not for the compliance issues Kabayan would have a 5 star rating.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I have been a loyal customer for 25 years and I'm so disappointed with the service I received lately. They encourage us to use their app but they cannot be bothered to send you a receipt instead they want us to download it which I refuse to do so. Sending us notification should be our right as their valued customer. Unfortunately, if this happen again next time I send money they will for sure loose me as their customer and I will definitely encourage all my friends to take their custom somewhere else!

When it works its great but they are forever changing the way it works. My wife and I an others in our family have used this for years. We cannot use it anymore because they have made it so complicated. They asked us to register a phone number and we did and that does not even work... MY advice to you is go somewhere else... You never know these days if you are being hacked.. and when a company keeps changing how they operate it is a danger signal.. you cannot even contact them on the site if you cant log on.... has it been hacked?

Avoid Metro Bank collections

They should inform their customers that sending money for collection at Metro Bank will involve sitting in Metro Bank for hours whilst they contact head office for approval. Nice way to spend your holiday.

I’ve been using Kabayan Remit when they…

I’ve been using Kabayan Remit when they were still called Asenso Remit. And now, they were so unbelievably strict, even the receivers on my list were there since I started. And now they started asking for their details etc. I used to refer them to friends but now I will not. Will be looking for other options now.

SCAM service - DO NOT USE

Took my money, they endlessly asking for bank statements and details and then don't make the transfer. They haven't returned my money.

Hindi lang isang beses mga Beneficiary…

Hindi lang isang beses mga Beneficiary ko pinabalik balik sa pag claim ng money. Sana mabigyan pansin yung mga ka partner ng Kabayan doon sa Pilipinas na ibigay kaagad yung money, Aabutin pa ng 3 days .. Sobra yung taga roon walang awa sa mga kababayang pobre na ng claim at pinabalikbalik hindi nila naisip yung effort nila, panahon at pera nasayang. Init at gutom pa. Sana ma solve itong problema ng mga partners. Hindi lang beneficiaries gina abala pati yung sender. mag kaiba ang oras natin. Itong sulat kung ito pasado alas 12 ng gabi rito. Dahil nga di na mka kaya ng beneficiaries sa pabalik balik kayo ito mapilitan sila tatawag sa amin. pangatlong abala yung staff ng Kabayan dahil tatawagan ko rin sila. Hay ... paki nalng kung yung Palawan at Mluiher ay ganun ang nga gawain bigyan ninyo ng memo o anong magawa ninyo para matigil na ito at nakakasira ng imahin ng Kabayan. Wala kayo issue sa akin kundi yung mga kapartner ang natutulak na dumihan imahin ninyo. Meron pang pahingi hingi ng recebo hindi kuntento sa ref number hawak ng beneficiaries kahit ipakita pa yung mensahe doon. Wala silang paki alam sa recibo ng sender. Hindi nila yun dapat hingiin for privacy reason. Kaya noong tumawag ako sa staff ninyo. sabi ko isang MAGIC lang to na gawin mo. TAWAGAN MO BENEFICIARY ko na andoon ilang oras nakaburo sa kanila. Ayon BOOM .... narinig sa taga roon kaya ayun TINAWAG na pangalan niya. UGALING iwan.

I went all through the verification…

I went all through the verification process, and after my last transaction, they disabled my account without further information. dont try to use this app, they havent refund my money yet

Waste of time company

Wasted time signing up for it since ive seen good exchange rate, signed up then getting transfere fee almost £5, later on asking to verify my id which is given 2 attempts done first attempt with driving license failed, second attempt used passport failed again receiving email saying your not be allowed to have account with them, jokes company cant identify IDs properly their system isnt seems to be up to date updated if they cant match up selfie with passport id picture, wasted of time, better use worldremit or westerunion faster registration quicker transferes exchange rate might be 1 or 2 pesos less but at least money receiving within 1hour, WILL NOT TRY REGISTER AGAIN USELESS COMPANY BIG TRANSFERE FEE RATES TOO westerunion provides same exchange rates
