I didn’t have any issues during my rental and the booking process was really smooth. The Karshare team were extremely helpful during the booking process and rental period. They’ll answer emails and phone calls quickly. The app works completely fine and the interface is very user-friendly. Everything is managed from the app, even unlocking and locking the car which I found mind blowing! When I returned the car with a full tank of petrol and the Karshare team refunded me with the difference based on the fuel level at pick-up! I didn’t even ask for it and didn’t know they would.
The car was in perfect condition upon pick-up. Drove like new and very clean. Also really easy to find and return.
100% will rent again using Karshare and would recommend to anyone. Much cheaper than the big rental companies especially for young drivers.
PS: the deposit amount can be high but I got it back within 4 days so no problem at all there either.

It was a great experience, a disappointing start, because the car wouldn't start for the first one and half hour, however I received a highly professional help from your call center

I have never tried a more convenient way to rent a car than using karshare. It was very easy! all done through the karshare app on my phone.

No hassle set up, booking and pick up. Car itself was fine and app worked well to lock/unlock but a little annoying. Overall would definitely use again and recommend to others

Rapid way to have a car with not hassle and hidden fees

It’s really great to be able to rent a car just round the corner from me . The app works really well , and it’s great to use a peer to peer app that contributes to better car use ; helping to tackle climate change .

Good first time experience. Would recommend.

I have been an owner in Coventry UK since the roll out in the city. When I started the app felt like a beta test and there were so many problems that I gave a 1 star review on here. In the last 2 years I have seen the app get better and better and although there are still some quirks in the system I am generally pleased with the experience. The team are all friendly and professional and are very quick to help either on the phone (normally waiting less than 20 mins) or on email (next working day). The only problem I have is the odd problematic renter who leaves the car in a mess but they pay me back for cleaning and inconvenience.

My various attempts to rent our local community car failed because the app does not work with Oppo phones. The management picked up a negative review and have found a way round (use a different phone!), so I am now able to book the car. Sadly, I'm over 70 and will need a special dispensation from the insurers to use the car. I await the insurers' response, but I assume if it comes it will only apply to a single rental occasion. It's worth saying that the problem-solving approach of the management has been excellent, so three stars seems a bit curmudgeonly, but the overall feel of the process has been tiresome and exhausting, and that's reflected here.

Rented a Volkswagen Golf for a day. The rental process was smooth and the car was good. However the sign up process and license verification can be further improved. Overall this is a service that I recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Karshare. It was so easy to book the vehicle and was a pretty smooth experience. I also was given some credit as a reward for driving well so I’ll be saving money on my next booking. Could not recommend enough.
