This company gives me years of fun…

This company gives me years of fun gameplay. They sent me the huge C2+ from China to Argentina without issues (by ship). It took several months and a lot of money (we have a lot of fees here to import) but allways a good communication. Whenever I had issues they sent the replacemnts for free (the shoes sensors fails for me after a large time of use). I had this C2+ for almost 2 years now. I love that they are still trying to add software improvements. Im not sure about Katvr + psvr, but Katvr + Steam works just fine

Not perfect, but much better than expected!

I have been using a C2 core (with Valve Index) for over a year now. Considering the company size and location, I newer expected 100% tinker-free solution like some of the huge electronics corporates claim to offer, so within the expected range I'm satisfied -maybe even positively surprised; I'm on the heavier end of the recommended weight, so I had to add a second roller to the shoes and I also have to lube the plate frequently with silicone oil. (which is part of the recommended maintenance anyway) The metal hardware quality is on the level of a department store fitness machine - seems a little on the flimsy side at the first glance, but if you tighten the bolts from time to time, it's sturdy enough - it has held my weigh, after all. I had one major breakage - the harness balancing spring broke - the customer service communication was swift: After providing pictures of the broken parts and the serial no. sticker, no further questions were asked and I received a new (different, obviously reworked) spring set quite quickly.
Mind when are you ordering: apparently, around February, the entire country gets shut-down, so the shipping gets prolonged during that time.

Kat VR made Half life Alyx come to life. I bought it initially to keep my houshold items safe from my swings. But being able to run and walk in game hase been amazing. Everyone who has come and watched has been amazed by it.

An Incredible VR Experience and Workout Combined!

I absolutely love my KAT VR C2 Core. It has completely transformed the way I experience VR. From the moment I set it up, it worked flawlessly—no glitches, no hiccups. I primarily use it with SkyrimVR and Blade & Sorcery, and it adds a whole new level of immersion. Running through Tamriel and battling in dungeons while getting a solid workout is just incredible.

What really impressed me is how seamless and responsive the device is. It feels natural and intuitive, and it truly pulls you into the game. The added bonus? I’m getting exercise while doing something I enjoy. It’s the best of both worlds.

The company behind the C2 Core has also been fantastic—quick to respond to questions and very supportive. Everyone who has tried it at my house has come away amazed.

If you're looking to enhance your VR experience and stay active while gaming, I highly recommend the KAT VR C2 Core. It's been worth every penny.

Mind Blown!

I’ve had my C2 Core treadmill for about 6 months. I use it for tactical shooters and adventure games with large amounts or running and sprinting. I run and jump on this thing as fast and hard as I can and it is still holding up like it just arrived. I also use the seat option for in between matches and when using the horse in Skyrim! I have had amazing experience with staff and when I do have questions the discord has been very helpful! I absolutely LOVE my Core and I highly recommend it to someone who doesn’t play VR because their space is “too small”. And if you get motion sick this treadmill has eliminated that for a few of my friends who have jumped on! If you only have Stand alone VR get the NEXUS too! You can use the treadmill with just your headset. Do yourself a favor and get one of these and live in the future!

Good customer service

So I got the wrong size shoes at first and when I contacted customer service they helped me out. I’m very satisfied with the service and the way they’ve accommodated me.
I will gladly shop here again in the future

Sofar, they were also replying 24/7. Tech time of chinese time. Assembly is not easiest immediately. What a bit puzzled me, for most up to date walkthrough you have to contact 24/7 support who send you good video, (more in depth technicians customer care work 1am to 10am London GMT time due to being in china), which has a few issues, 5 minute video, well done, yet could be more descriptive. You have/may to tinker a bit with gateway software, but basically it can be plus and play experience.

They were very fast to reply and i hardly saw better customer care in my life, i have yet to setup my kat nexus to definitely confirm all. Also you can search online videos. But I think for recent prices its quite a bargain.

j'ai acheté il y a 1 mois le kat walk c2 core, aucun problème de livraison pour la Belgique en 5j. Je l'avais reçu, empaqueté, sur une palette livrée devant ma porte donc nickel, le produit est d'une super qualité avec des pièces bien dures comme il faut et lourdes, (en même temps avec mes 100kg il vaut mieux quand je me fait courser par des goules) le montage m'a pris 3h car je ne suis pas très doué mais en soi, avec la vidéo explicative sur leur site c'est très simple à monter, juste qu'il faut être rigoureux et bien respecter les serrages etc.
Pour ce qui est du programme PC, il est presque plug and play, et fonctionne directement avec les jeux, c'est assez bluffant. Pour certains jeux, la sensation est proche de 100/100 (genre Skyrim), mais pour d'autres jeux, c'est un peu plus aléatoire, genre Fallout 4, parfois le perso patinne un peu. Les chaussures sont de super qualité aussi et très agréables à porter, j'ai juste eu la roulette qui a lâché assez rapidement parce que j'ai fait un virage trop serré sur le tapis en me faisant courser par des goules (le stress tout ça), j'ai envoyé un petit mail et deux nouveaux jeux de roulette sont en route pour ma maison, donc vraiment rien à redire sur le SAV. Aussi, j'avais eu un problème avec le jeu Fallout dans la programmation, ils m'ont envoyé un mail d'explication de comment le faire démarrer de façon optimisée.
j'avais reçu aussi le Kat Nexus en cadeau pour faire fonctionner mon Meta Quest 3 avec les jeux internes, après avoir un peu galéré à comprendre comment intégrer le programme Kat sur mon Quest, tout a fonctionné directement, et quel bonheur du coup.

le seul "problème" que je peux dire et qui n'est pas de leur faute, est que le SAV est situé en Chine, donc Be et en France. Si vous contactez le personnel, vous aurez une réponse dans la nuit, genre leur horaires sont de 9h à 17h, ce qui équivaut à 2h du matin à 9h du matin chez nous. Donc, si vous êtes un levé tard faudra un peu prendre votre mal en patience.

Par contre, encore un point positif, la livraison se fait à partir de la République TCheque, sa reste en europe et proche de la belgique et france donc votre produit arrive assez vite.

Je n'ai pas grand-chose à dire en +, je m'amuse bien et j'en ai eu pour mon argent

ne l'achetez pas si vous êtes en appartement avec des voisins en dessous, le bruit lors de la course risque de vachement les déranger, si vous avez des questions je peux toujours vous répondre avec plaisir

KatVR is the most dishonorable company

I bought a treadmill from KatVR, and it was a complete waste of money.
Nothing works. Their customer service is completely worthless, and only responds after midnight.
Trying to get it to work became a fulltime job. We went back and forth for nearly a week, and they barely suggested anything helpful at all.
They should have replaced it.

No answer from support for days/weeks now

I cancelled my order right after i placed it but they billed me anyway and i have no idea if it was sent or not or if/when i will get my money back

Price performance poor

The device itself is ok, but the quality is poor in that it becomes extremely worn out after a few hours. In addition, I did not receive the additional items that were promised when I ordered and the option to return can be completely forgotten because it is not addressed. Wait a few more years for it to mature.

My Katwalk VR Experience (Spoiler: It’s Not Good)

If you REALLY want a VR treadmill I recommend looking somewhere else, or continue waiting for a better company to pop up because KatVR is a massively stressful time-sink of broken parts, outdated/incorrect information and a company thriving off of deceptive marketing and stall tactics.

I decided to take a chance and order the Katwalk C2+. After watching several youtubers talk about and use this thing (which now I am sure are paid sponsors) it seemed like a great fit for what I wanted out of my VR experience.

Right off the bat the site reads Chinese, cheaply made, broken English, and a little sus (like Temu, Wish, etc.) with constant pop-ups of “Deals”, “Special Offers” and “Sales”. The thing is - it’s always on “Sale” they use this deceptive practice to lure you in thinking you are getting a deal.

Additionally, the site will say something along the lines of “Save up to $1675”, which realistically means the collected value of the flash sale items. This includes “cost” of accessories, gift cards and the arbitrary value they give to their customer/support service and warranty extensions. Ultimately you are only getting $100 - $200 off the treadmill depending on which one you buy, and ONLY if you copy and paste the code in yourself.

The “Free Gifts” are these flash sales you can add-on when buying a treadmill. The problem with these is that there is no context on what you are actually buying and for the most part, have made-up values. For instance I got the “5 Free Games (VIP Gamefit Rewards)”. That’s it, that was the whole description. Understandably, you would think that means 5 free games - but no, it means I can send them a list of 5 games that they will test to see if the KatVR works for them.

The other “free” add-ons included things like an extended 1 year warranty, 1:1 support service, $100 Steam Gift card and PSVR2 adapter (I will get to these in a bit).

“1-Day Free Shipping” is definitely not something they do even though it’s advertised. In fact, the only way I think I got my treadmill was by hounding customer service for a tracking number after a week of no updates.

The order arrived in three parts, the first two were the treadmill itself and the third package contained the shoes and the Nexus (used to play the Meta without the need for a PC). I got the treadmill about 2 weeks after placing the order, but the shoes and nexus didn't arrive until a full week and a half after the treadmill. So I just have all of this dead weight sitting in my living room since you can't use this without the shoes.

First, my issue is with the treadmill: It came with several parts rusted over, every single screw on the base and the pin that goes behind the waistband. I also got sent the wrong rubber caps that go over the support bars to protect you from hurting yourself if you bump into it. After a while with support, they offered a $30 Steam gift card for the trouble and replacement parts.

Another oversight on KatVRs part is the Vehicle Hub. You are going to have a bad time if you are on the shorter side. I am 5’6’’ and the way the hub is positioned when not in use covers about 25% of the lower waistband track preventing you from kneeling and squatting. There is also no way to adjust the height of the vehicle hub so it is VERY uncomfortable to sit in if you aren't the exact height they set it up for.

Second, set-up is a never ending NIGHTMARE. The instructions are the worst I have ever seen in my life. The paper instructions are outdated and have hardly any useful visual details - everything is so vague and doesn't tell you what it does. There are so many accessories and parts that have no instructions at all and don’t tell you what it’s for.

The only videos I find are for other KatVR products and not the C2+, so all the parts are completely different from mine and I had to basically guess. Funnily enough, a lot of videos showed people also having a horrible time putting their treadmill together too. Needless to say it wasted my entire day trying to figure it out. Don’t even get me started on how near impossible the Nexus was to figure out.

The Kat Gateway software is also a mess, it wont register that I have Steam VR and refuses to update. This is where the 1:1 support add-on I got should kick in, right? Yes, but they ask you to give them remote access to your computer with TeamViewer. Yeah, I do not trust that. You would think they would at least try to walk me through some troubleshooting steps but for some reason they seem pretty insistent on getting access to my computer.

A month later, I STILL have not gotten the replacement parts, the PSVR2 adapter, or either of the steam gift cards. Customer service keeps pushing the date further back and is being very vague. At first it was “after I receive the treadmill”, then it was “On the 15th”, then I was told the “21st”, now that it’s the 21st I am being told “next week”.

PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!!!

This review is to all those who are not computer experts. This company falsely advertises having great technical support. I sadly cannot speak for the product itself, because trying to get help getting my treadmill to work has been nothing short of a nightmare. This company loves to advertise their supposive great technical support, but they fail to mention this support is only offered in their time zone, so if you live on the east coast of the U.S. and don’t have the luxury to be able to stay up in the midnight hours when they are actually available because you have to wake at 5am everyday for your job, then DON’T bother with this company. Also, if you try to get help with anything else you may be having issues with, such exchanging for a different shoe size or needing extra sensors, it’s like pulling teeth. They love to tell you to email them, because it’s apparently inconvenient for them to provide actual live human support. Anyways, please do your research before giving this company your hard earned money, unless you are ok with having a very expensive Impractical clothing rack in the middle of your room that took you hours to assemble (don’t even get me started on the hell I went through just getting that process done). If you work hard for your money like I do and don’t have extra money to spare for the computer expert company you’ll need to hire in order to have any chance of your treadmill actually working, then think twice before buying from this company. I was soo excited to finally be able to treat myself to this product to begin exercising with, but I have been left with nothing but pure regret and a $137/month bill over the next year to payoff this glorified clothing rack that now just sits in the middle of my room taunting me with my poor decisions. I will now need to pay an additional nearly $300 to hire a computer experts company in hopes they can get it working, because forget about trying to return it, that will be a battle you will NEVER win. At this point if I can gain anything from this whole awful experience, it would be to save others from making the same mistakes I have made In trusting this terrible deceiving company.

A group that cares about their customers

When I encounter an issue, I can always rely on the company for a quick response. The first batch of VR treadmills had a part that was unreliable. It broke for me, and they sent me a replacement. Unprompted, I recently received an upgraded replacement so the issue will never happen again.
