Adrian Chase has been a pleasure to work with on publishing my first book! He guided me through the process from start to finish, answering questions promptly and thoroughly. Since everything was new to me, I had many questions, but he was patient with me. I appreciate the help he and KDP have provided me. I am thinking I may write another children’s book because of the experience.

After contacting the company, I was assigned a consultant named Frank Bell. I paid him an advance, supposedly to print my books. In short, his latest attempt is to get me to contribute an additional amount to pay taxes before I receive my share of the profits. As proof, he sent me an IRS Adjustment Notice. However, after consulting with the IRS, they deemed it a scam attempt and recommended that I submit additional information to report him. Upon request, I can provide the text of the last email I received from Frank Bell, including the forged Adjustment Notice.

For the past several months I have been working closely with Nick Ramone and the KDP as a first time children’s book author. It has been a pleasure to work with Nick and watching my thoughts transform into my children’s book. Nick shared a personal connection with my book (My Brothers Voice) which tells the story of two children, one autistic and nonverbal, and the way his brother is teaching the world to hear him. I found that very comforting that he understood the world of disability and felt comfortable enough to share his connection to that story with me. The only reason I’m giving four stars at this point is we still have to go into production and start the marketing process and I want be able to come back and give a true review on that part of the experience. If this was about Nick alone, I would definitely do five stars.
