The Keg Steakhouse + Bar Avaliações 

We were sitting in the bar as the restaurant was full and we had no reservations. Our server was Brie, she was knowledgeable concerning our wine choices with our meal, one white was a bit woody and so we ordered another, great help. Our food was served just as ordered, delicious. She was attentive and joyful. We shall ask for her on our next visit.

I made a reservation for 6:00 p.m. May 19, 2022. When we arrived, they said that I had cancelled my reservation at 3:15 p.m. that afternoon. I showed them my confirmation e-mail; from my phone. Too bad, they still wanted me to wait over an hour. I am diabetic - can't be doing that. This is NOT the first time they have pulled that trick - it won't happen again. They pretty much ignored me; even when I showed proof that I had made a reservation. Won't ever go back due to their lack of respect.

Despite the negative reviews, I actually like it here...

Showed up with my family of 5, 2 were allowed in and 3 weren't due to not publicly disclosing their health status.

The Keg discriminates and I will never be back.

I am a former worker of the KEG Steakhouse and Bar at 2300 McGillvray boulevard in Winnipeg MB. I worked there part time for a couple years while in college.

In short, during my time at the KEG it was clear to me that their management was highly incompetent.

The operations managers were ditzy, rude and constantly gave attitude to their employees to stir up drama in every department.

Short term demands were very excessive, and the worst of all was that they DONT GIVE SUFFICIENT BREAKS AT WORK. The Keg will give you one 15 minute break per shift. But elsewhere, you are given two 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch. The KEG gives you a 15 minute break and that's it. no more.

It was like a Sweatshop working at the back of the house at the KEG. Lucky for me I'm physically gifted and can hold my ground. But for others less fortunate than me, they struggled under the pressure. Most workers didn't make it six months into their employment. I was one of the longest standing employees there, and the managers still neglected me.

The turnover rate was extremely high due at the KEG Steakhouse and Bar due to the unattractiveness of working there, i.e incompetent and rude managers. Their lower level workers are so overly worked and stressed out. But the managers don't care, as long as they meet their daily sales targets.

There is no sense of team culture at the KEG as each employee seeks to achieve their own best interest only. The culture at work was competitive rather than enjoyable, as coworkers were very competitive with one and other.

I have always been a very hard worker who never complains. I put my head down and work hard. But the KEG doesn't reward hard workers, it instead rewards extroverted people. It rewards people who are social, and those that talk to everybody. If you are a quiet person, don't bother working at the KEG because you will never be promoted.

I worked for the KEG for four years and was never offered a raise. Cheap managers who use you for your short term outputs while compensating you the very least. That's the KEG's business model. It's a wonder why they are still in business.

Just got home from the Keg on the west side. It was our 7 year anniversary. We have only ever been to the keg about 3 times in 6 years, and we consider it a massive treat when we go. Steak was perfect, (which never happens anywhere we go) . The server even surprised us with a dessert at the end, on the house, to celebrate our day. Food was quick, and hot! I can't recommend this location enough. Everyone is always so welcoming, and servers are always amazing! Huge thanks to Nic D for everything :)

Went for my birthday last week, first time we've sat in since the pandemic started so we were worried about how it would go. Let me tell ya, the service was amazing. Our waitress was awesome, the food was incredible and the drinks, super yummy! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Definitely be going back again soon.

The service is so ridiculous, we order for pick up and were waited for 35 minutes in the parking lot. The crew is so rude and dont have manner. The most regretful day I ever had is to ordered food to this low class restaurants

No matter where I am in Canada, The Keg Steakhouse is consistent with their service and ability to cook steaks.

High-quality chefs, high-quality servers, and most of all very well priced for the service you get.

The Keg a very good steakhouse. It is not the best that I have ever been, but it is the best for a chain restaurant.

I have been to many many The Keg. I can say this:

- Very good steaks. They are good quality and well cooked
- A good variety of appetizers. And they change regularly with the seasons.
- Tasty sides.
- Acceptable cocktails. The wine list is ok most of the times.
- Service has been excellent!

The bad is that the price is pretty high for the quality. Especially if you compare with cerain steakhouses that are not part of chains. But The Keg is the best amonst the chain types!

We went for a birthday dinner & our food & service was excellent. Was a bit pricey but I would definitely go again & also recommend this restaurant.

Pretty consistent food quality, a bit expensive, but good experience overall, would recommend.

Great food and service but a little pricy for what it is.

It's not the best, not the worst either. A decent Friday night destination, you won't be impressed, but at the same time you won't spend your money for nothing. Their drinks leave a lot to be desired though, way too light. You would be better off with ordering wine.

The food is great here. Steaks especially and our dessert was also really good. I will be returning.

I've enjoyed Happy Hour here after work, so my review is based on service, drinks and appetizers. The ambience is very nice throughout. We sit in the bar area when we come. I've tasted the stuffed mushrooms and the calamari and both are delicious. Wishing their wine selection was better but their drinks are on point and the service is very good. Will be back!

Back on Saturday, June 4th, 2016, my friends Alex and Renee recommended that we go to The Keg Restaurant!

Honestly, I do Not remember when the last time was that I dined at this restaurant, but in any case it was a GREAT Experience!

We all had Delicious Steaks to eat, along with other Appetizers and Wine!

I had a Very Delicious Dessert and sorry, but I do NOT have the menu with me to tell you the exact name of the Dessert or the names of my other Foods as well, however, my Pictures Will Speak Louder Than Words!

I want to also give Credit to our wonderful waitress as well (and I forgot her name), who was so scared to take a picture with me, but that is okay because I think she was camera shy, but a Very Good Waitress, Indeed!

Overall, I Loved The Keg Experience and You Will Too!
