I couldn't be happier with my experience with Keoghs Nicholls Lindsell & Harris, especially with Louise Brown who handled the conveyancing process for me. Throughout the rather lengthy process Louise has gone above and beyond to make the purchase smooth and satisfactory. She is proactive, attentive and responsive as well as friendly and supportive. I felt a lot more relaxed about the purchase knowing that there was a safe pair of hands dealing with it. If/when I move again I won't think twice about who to instruct for the conveyancing!

Selling a house due to bereavement and for over 35 years not having had the cause to use a solicitor's services I was a little lost and apprehensive.

From first contact with reception staff dropping off the deeds package through to a successful completion working with Louise the service was a five star experience.

Explaining the process when I needed clarity, returning messages promptly and keeping me updated along the timeline of an unfamiliar process Louise was fantastic.

Louise Brown is amazing. I recently instructed Louise Brown to handle a residential sale and purchase . Neither went smoothly but Louise was so efficient,proactive and kind that we are now in our new home and we absolutely love it!. it was recommended to me to appoint Keoghs Solicitors for very complex tenancy situation where tenant had not paid rent in a long time and denied access to the property for any maintenance. Nicola Holman acted as our conveyancer for both the sale and purchase of our homes when we moved recently, and we could not have asked for a better service.

From the very beginning, Nicola was prompt, helpful and clear in all her dealings with us and with the other parties involved. She kept us informed throughout, responded quickly to questions, and explained matters in a way that was easy to understand without ever making us feel rushed or as though anything was too much trouble.

Moving home can be a stressful process, particularly when dealing with both a sale and a purchase at the same time, but Nicola’s professionalism, empathy and knowledge gave us complete confidence that everything was being handled properly. It only became apparent after completion that some aspects of the transaction had been more difficult than we realised at the time, which is a real testament to how calmly and effectively Nicola managed matters on our behalf.

Excellent and highly efficient service from Keoghs resolving a long running estate dispute. We instructed Keoghs regarding a dispute over my late Mum's estate where they have provided advice and guidance to resolve, from attempted mediation and settlement to preparing claim and trial documents for an ultimately positive outcome at court.

My experience with this solicitors has been amazing. Started with a recommendation from the estate agent followed by a phonecall to introduce them selves. Louise has been friendly approachable and straightforward from the off. No unexplained law talk, good advice and incredibly efficient service. Just 39 working days from agreeing the sale to completion! Highly highly recommended.

Great experience with Rebecca as my solicitor for my recent house sale and purchase. She answered all my queries, was professional and friendly to deal with. Kept me in the loop, as necessary, but otherwise just got on with the job! Highly recommend.

Nicola and her colleagues at the Hazel Grove office carried out conveyancing for the sale of a fiat. Very efficient, proactive team with good problem solving skills.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this firm from start to finish.

Communication was consistently poor — I was often left waiting days for responses, and when replies did come through, they frequently failed to address the questions or points raised in my previous emails. Over the course of my case, I was passed between four different solicitors. Two of them left without any notice or proper handover, leaving me to repeatedly re-explain my situation and deal with unnecessary delays.

One of the solicitors assigned to my case was only working a 50% week, which I found wholly unacceptable given the time-sensitive nature of a property transaction. This lack of availability only added to the delays and overall frustration.

There was also a clear lack of knowledge and ownership of the issues I raised. At no point did I feel I was being given proper guidance or professional advice, which is the fundamental reason for instructing a solicitor in the first place.

To make matters worse, I was charged more than originally quoted despite the fact that the sale/purchase did not even complete.

I formally raised a complaint regarding these issues. A response was only provided after I chased it — several days past the stated deadline — and even then, it appeared rushed and inadequate. It simply listed timestamps of emails sent, without addressing any of the concerns I had raised.

Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience, and I believe the poor service contributed to the collapse of the transaction.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this firm.
