Kilowatt Avaliações

Kilowatt.ie is a great site. I use it regularly to see what are the best options out there in particular for electricity as we have Solar and 2 EVs. Kilowatt helped me chose the best option for our home setup as
I could enter Solar and EV details and upload historical usage. Recently also used for gas and changed over to a much better rate than we were on.

There are other comparison sites out there but I keep coming back to Kilowatt. Thanks for maintaining the site with so many price and discount changes going on in the market. Keep us the great work.

A very quick way to compare plans and based on my HDF data came up with an electric Ireland plan for me that I probaly woudln't have considerd due to only a 2 hour window. I made a suggestion to Dominic about the option to change the discount rate offered as sometimes if you phone up you can haggle on that and he replied appreciating the input and the website was updated promptly, so nice to see that feedback is well received. A lot better than the traditional comparison sites.

Such an easy website to navigate, no nonsense, clearly laid out info, all options given to pick easily, clear price comparison, no pop ups, no entering email. Exactly as described by founder. Breath of fresh air in the madness of price comparison websites

This site is great for making comparisons especially if you are trying to export back into the grid from solar and overnight charge batteries either for the solar or in the car.

It saved me a pile of money because the much bigger, well funded and slicker site 'Bonkers' only showed plans that I could sign up for via their site. Now in fairness, there was a toggle to turn that off but only for Kilowatt I'd have missed the plans offered by Energia. Thanks!

In an increasingly complex electricity market kilowatt.ie allows you to use your actual past historical electricity consumption assuming you have a smart meter. It also allows you to model the cost effects of solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and ev charging. It is simple to use the advanced features but you can also do a basic cost comparison analysis of all the utility companies if you so wish. The best, most accurate and informative cost comparison site for the Irish electricity market by far.

Hands down the best comparison site in Ireland.
Simple, elegant design with way to understand modification options for installation of solar panels, batteries and EV chargers and adjusts recommended plans accordingly.
I've recommended this site to all of my friends

Very useful energy pricing data and resources available here with a clean, responsive interface and a knowledgable, up to date team behind it.

This is an excellent site to help you understand your energy usage and save money! It's very impressive how it takes into account all the different energy plans that now exist with different time segments and welcome offers.

After stumbling across this website when trying to muddle through the maze that is other comparison websites, Kilowatt gave me the real information I needed to understand the Trapdoors & know exactly which provider was offering.
I won't be switching again without checking in on Kilowatt.
I was curious about solar panels & the website also gave me a lot of information about what works & doesn't & how to get the information required to make a good decision on a solar investment

Great tool to compare prices from all suppliers.

Kilowatt.ie is a very effective comparison tool, especially for households with solar, a battery, an EV or a heat pump. It’s great that you can adjust the dates each system was installed, tailor the heat-pump settings based on your home’s square metres, and include your daily EV kWh usage — the level of detail makes the results far more accurate.

The new Summer/Winter split feature is also a smart addition, clearly showing how the best tariff can change throughout the year even factoring in the two early exit fees per year to stick to such a schedule. Dominic continues to add meaningful upgrades that reflect how people use electricity today.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting a clear and realistic view of their best tariff.

While I have a good understanding of the different concepts of solar panels and electrical usage, it was great to finally see a comparison site which takes the main factors into consideration, the house size, heating source, amount of solar panels, size of battery storage.. all play a major part so I was delighted to be able to compare all these in one place rather than just using national averages like other sites.. great website, highly recommended!!

I know quite a lot about this field so I can confirm that the suggested and actual cheapest rate for my situation was accurate. It takes into account factors that other price aggregators do not. Also if you need to dive deeper into the numbers. He is there to help unmuddy the waters.

There was a time when you could use bonkers.ie with confidence but this site allows you to upload your meter data and account for EV charging, heat pump, solar panels etc. to give you a better picture taking into account smart plans as well as the old fashioned 24 hour ones (which can be better value of course!)
