Terrible business
Terrible business, tried to get out landline fixed for over a month and they refuse to send out an engineer. Would not recommend. Rude customer service who don’t comply.

We reported dialing tone disappeared on our handsets. Eventually following a problem solving process , it was found that Base Station was faulty. However after lengthy search for equipment serial numbers , the Kinex operator promised that the equipment will be replaced within 2 working days ( 10th Feb 2024) . Today is 19th Feb , after calling them back, apparently the equipment re order was never forwarded for processing replacements on to the right department . Today we had to repeat over the phone providing serial numbers etc again and now promised delivery for 21st Feb 2024. We are 24/7 business , and there has been complacency on the part of the Kinex to deal with our issues. Furthermore it seems we are speaking to call centre possibly foreign and it is very hard to understand their accents. Sorry but not good enough.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever. We took over a business in october that used kinex for their broadband and telephone services. We had to sign a change of tenancy document to keep hold of the services until it was signed accross to us and we could then freely make a decision to stay or change. The previous owner took a month after taking over the business to sort their end of the signing. During this period we had massive internet and phoneline black outs and could not use either. When the internet did work it was terrible. We phone and asked for an engineer to come and fix but couldn't as it still was not in our name! When the chane of tenancy did go through we got quoted by kinex a rediculous ammount so decided to go elsewhere. We changed away from kinex on the 8th December. At the end of the month a massive bill came through... it turns out that nobody tells you that you get put on a premium charge rate for a service that did not work! After multiple arguments and weeks waiting for a call from a manager to resolve the payment issues we finally managed to agree what we should pay for the poor service recieved and paid in January. Now bare in mind we have not been connected since the 8th december. Every month a new premium bill gets generated for a disconnected service and demand letters, calls from their debt collector team. We have a letter saying they owe us £29 but new bills keep coming. The customer service team keep telling us they are waiting for the final bill to be generated and we wont hear from you again and we will get a cheque for the money owed. However we keep getting harrassed. God knows if this is putting a black mark against our business name. Hours of our time wasted ringing ypur company to try and get it resolved. Never hear from a manager and have to request multiple times until weeks later you finally get a call. Still to this day i am waiting to get my final bill. The demands to stop coming and the money back thay you owe us!

INTERNET DROPS OUT MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY, WHICH MEANS THE PHONE DOES AS WELL AS INTERNET BASED PHONE SYSTEM.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A WASTE OF TIME, NEVER RING YOU BACK!! OR IF THEY DO ARE A WASTE OF TIME.
ONLY TIME WE HAD A PHONE CALL BACK REGARDING OUR PROBLEM WAS WHEN THE OMBUDSMAN GOT INVOLVED, THEN THEY STARTED TO TRY AND HELP... TOO LATE BY THEN!!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Do not engage with Kinex !
I received a sales call offering to reduce my telecom charges and to pay off my existing telecom provider to transfer services. I had to fight to have the full service termination cost paid off by Kinex.
I ended up paying more than my previous telecom providers service.
On trying to leave the 2-year contract a month early I was advised there would be a £1300 charge to do so.
Currently we have no working business telecom service and Kinex are simply not rectifying the issue.
I will be complaining to ofcom as my business is suffering due to the abysmal service we have received.
I have continually tried to call Kinex with no answer and still no one has been in touch or given support. Our business phones have been down now for 6 days. That's not an acceptable service.

You responded to my complaint via trustpilot 3-days ago however no-one has contacted me from Kinex and I have now placed a complaint with Ofcom.
Simply answering complaints stating you're dealing with issues when you're not is simply to be seen as professional to potential/existing customers which Kinex is not.

Terrible company to deal with and zero customer service !! Have rung dozens of times as our our business is left with no phone line or internet for days at a time you just get put on hold and then cut off , this problem being going on for months now at our wits end !!

This Company is full of ####. Lie to get your Buiseness, and then charge you what they feel like.. just stay away from these scammers. Can’t understand why they are allowed to trade.
I signed my contract for £26 a month for 3 years., year 2 £36, year 3 £45. Apparently this increase is normal. Im counting the days until I’m out.. I wouldn’t consider any deal this company offered. Hope they get shut down for good.

I closed my business in November 6th…
I closed my business in November 6th and required just one internet at home, one of my services got stoped on December 1st. Atleast 12 calls later and emails that have not been responded to im still sorting this matter out. Customer service has been appalling with no care or help just very abrupt staff. I’ve not had a proper invoice just a bill with no breakdown, I’ve been charged £75.34 for 1 month of one internet being told I was 4 days out of contract, and yet nobody tried to sort this with myself in any of phone calls and now I’m being threatened due to my January bill need paying of over £60 for 22 days of internet as I now have had no choice to go to another provider. Terrible company that don’t acknowledge complaints just use bullying techniques.

No Internet
We have now been without Internet connection for over 4 weeks and we can not get Kinex to deal with our problem despite numerous phone calls and promises to call us back.
On one occasion we did get a date when an engineer was supposed to arrive. No-one did That was 8 days ago.
We have followed their complaints procedure and emailed their complaintchampion twice and have not even had and acknowlegment
We are grateful for Chloe's response to the complaint above but there has still been no progress 8 days later.
We were told an engineer would visit yesterday between 1pm and 6pm. We were at the premises from 12.30 till 6.30 - and no-one arrived.
We just can't believe that a company would treat us like this

I have had a dreadful experience…
I have had a dreadful experience with this company. I contacted them 7 months ago when I had an unusually high bill of more than £600 due to an electric meter reading. I asked to set up a payment plan to cover half of the bill. this should have been a straight forward process. instead I received credit control emails, texts, and letters every month for 7 months. I was told to ignore debt collector letters and had my business internet and phone lines suspended during a busy period. This was hugely detrimental to my business and I spent hours, (at least six hours in one month) trying to sort the problems. I pay by direct debit and have been a customer since 2018. I was offered a very small gesture of good will twice, due to the constant errors that were made by various people throughout the company. I was pushed from pillar to post EVERY month when i contacted kinex to inform them of more unnerving credit control letters, despite paying monthly and having a small payment plan in place. One department of kinex obviously does not speak to the other internal department causing nothing more than time wasted, money lost due to suspended services which were not even related to the electric bill. Twice my services were suspended. The last 7 months have caused so much anxiety, frustration and loss of income and hours and spent on the phone lines each month. The second gesture of goodwill of £30 taken off my next bill, doesn't make up for all the errors. I will be leaving when my contract ends. DREADFULL experience.
