Excellent lifestyle photographer - professional, flexible and highly detail-oriented

I hired Ian for a full-day shoot and I am very happy with both the experience and the final images.
I compared expressions, compositions and small editing choices closely, and Ian was patient throughout: he listened carefully to my feedback and stayed flexible when I reconsidered certain selections. Communication was consistently quick and clear, from organising the shoot through to image selection, editing and final revisions, with everything handled quickly and smoothly over WhatsApp.

The shoot covered six locations in a single day, and Ian produced a varied set that still felt coherent and natural. He provided an extensive selection gallery, offered his honest professional opinion when I was undecided, and even included an additional edited photograph so that I had every option I had seriously considered. Ian also put me at ease during the shoot itself and was genuinely approachable and pleasant to be around, which mattered a lot since we shot on a Sunday with plenty of people around. He was equally happy to work around my schedule.

I considered several other providers, who appeared cheaper on the surface but would offer run of the mill, very formulaic and unnatural shots so in the end I decided to go with Ian - the difference was visible in every frame.

Ian is genuinely invested in delivering a result the client is happy with, rather than simply completing the shoot and moving on. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a lifestyle photographer in London, whether for personal branding or simply for natural portraits that look like you.

Before the shoot, Ian was incredibly responsive, friendly, and explained the whole process clearly, which made everything feel easy from the start.

During the shoot, he immediately makes you feel at ease and gives great guidance on poses, angles, and expressions throughout. His experience really shows in knowing what could work well for dating profile photos.

He also has a strong network and can refer you to people for wardrobe or style upgrades if needed, which is a nice added touch.

Ian is great at finding high-quality locations for photos and handles all the logistics/admin side smoothly, so you can just focus on the shoot itself.

Afterwards, he edits the photos according to your preferences and delivers them really quickly.

The end result was excellent - I got some genuinely great photos that I’m really happy with. Overall, I’d definitely recommend his services.

I got the two day package with Ian and thx to his help, I'm going on a few dates a week now! He's also overall a very awesome and sweet guy to hang out with while I was with him in London so the whole picture taking process wasn't awkward at all.

Ian is a very talented photographer. He has mastered the skill of manipulating lenses, lighting, shadows and props to produce photos that demand and capture your attention. He is also a nice guy to shoot with. Book him for your next photoshoot for sure!!

I worked with Ian for his dating photography services and would definitely recommend him to anyone who is thinking about getting photos for their online dating or any sort of personal branding. Ian was very easy to work with which went a long way in making me feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite never having done any dating photography / lifestyle photography before. As he has done this many times he was able to guide our shoot so that it was smooth, not awkward and got me everything that I was hoping to get.

Ian’s dating photography package is second to none. He clearly understands how to capture your personality/interests as opposed to just making sure that you look good and I felt that he was completely invested in making sure that I was happy with the end result. There was no pressure for me to like the initial shots for each scene - I felt comfortable suggesting changes and we worked together until we were both happy. Communication was excellent throughout the process, including after the shoot where Ian was happy to make further suggested edits until I was completely happy. I cannot recommend Ian highly enough and would definitely come back again!

Was a bit hesitant to hire a lifestyle photographer but was left with zero regrets. Ian was absolutely amazing and from the very start the entire process was simple and easy to follow.

I travelled in from quite far to work with him and wasn't too familiar with London, but that wasn't a problem at all since Ian had everything handled and the only thing I needed to do was look good for a few photos. And even then, he guided me through that to make sure I could show off my best self.

I had a really good experience working with Ian on a dating profile photoshoot in London.

From the start he was very organised and methodical, which made the whole process feel straightforward. He takes the time to talk through ideas beforehand and clearly knows what works well for dating profiles, which helps a lot if you’re not used to being in front of the camera.

On the day itself he was very good at helping me feel relaxed and natural, rather than making it feel overly staged or awkward. He has a good eye for locations and angles, and was flexible in adapting ideas as we moved around the city to get the best shots.

He was also helpful afterwards in narrowing down the photos and making sure I ended up with a strong final selection.

Overall a really positive experience and I’d definitely recommend him if you’re looking to upgrade your dating profile photos.
