I bought the product yesterday for…
I bought the product yesterday for $30.00. I added it directly to the radiator, and I then ran the vehicle for about 20 minutes longer than the time suggested on the bottle. At first, it seemed like it might be working, it never was able to completely seal the head gasket leak. On the bottle it said that it is 100% guaranteed or your money back. I'm hoping I am able to get my money back. It would probably work for smaller head gasket leaks, but apparently the head gasket on my 2010 pontiac vibe 1.8l has to large of a leak.

Amazing product!!
Amazing product! Out of state, on a trip, 30 minutes before a shop closed for the day, I had a major coolant leak. Possibly the water pump housing. A mechanic added K Seal, and told me, he had seen it do things he never thought possible. I laughed at him. No way this is going to stop that leak. I guess he's laughing now. It not only stopped it, I can't find where it was leaking. I don't know how it works, but I do know it works. I had never heard of this brand before, but I tell everyone about it now. Keep some with you, because you never know when you may need it.

Don't use this f.....g product will destroy your engine and coolant system i use on my car and i think my system it's blocked now do a lot of pressure in coolant tank all hose it's very hard and engine only like 1min work after stop alone now need to sell my car on scrap from fould of k-seal

I understand your concern and I'm here to help. However, I am afraid I cannot offer any meaningful comment, given that I have not received any previous communication from you, which, given your claims, I would have thought we would be the first port of call.
From a technical perspective, you only think K-Seal has done something. I need more information on the original symptoms. However, from your description, a failed Head Gasket will deliver the symptoms you describe.

All I can say is WOW! I am still shocked that this K-Seal ultimate actually took care of my head gasket leak in my 2011 Toyota RAV 4! I had 2 garages tell me I needed a new Engine and one shop quoted me $3,700 to replace the head gasket. Mind you, my engine only has 99,000 miles on it. Figured it was worth a shot to try K-Seal. Turned out to be the best 28 bucks I’ve ever spent!!

I'm sorry to see that the repair was not permanent, but simply adding more K-Seal without discussing with us why the first failed is unlikely to yield a different result.
I spend a lot of time here encouraging potential customers to get in touch to discuss the coolant ley they have.
Your material (Rubber Hoses, O-Rings, etc.) may well have been outside our technical specifications or unsuitable for a lasting fix.

Head gasket repair
I followed the direction in installing this k-seal head gasket repair. I have a 4.3 vortec engine. I drove the van hot. I decided to give k-seal a try. I also gave blue devil a try. Both only work up to 90%. I still got coolent in my oil plus I still had a miss fire. I took the cylinder heads off. The passage head was cracked.it may of worked if it was a blown head gasket.carl

I appreciate we have been unsuccessful and that you find this frustrating, but the review is misleading. I would like to clarify a couple of points for anyone reading this.
It is essential that you follow our directions, but stating that you "still got coolant in my oil" needs to include that our instructions on the bottle state, "K-Seal is not suitable to coolant to oil leaks."
Also, how big is the crack that you have uncovered? We can only seal cracks 0.25mm wide, and you have not specified whether you are within that spec.
I suspect that Blue Devil failed as well, and the crack was beyond the capabilities of a stop-leak product in the first place, although we have never been given the opportunity to try again for you.

Shocking I called AA as I had a possible coolant leak but they couldn't tell much because it was raining how ever the coolant was below minmin so most likely coolant leak anways they said they can put some k seal init said everything with car will be OK 45mins later no leaks but car blowing cold air and car fan keeps cutting out this is now gonna cost us so much more money this needs taken of the shelfs costing people money il be sueing your company but also AA aswell

I am sorry to hear about your roadside experience. Still, you mentioned little about the symptoms you were experiencing before you called the AA. How long have you been without coolant? Did the vehicle overheat, and how was K-Seal applied?
Indeed, there is nothing for anyone reading this to draw comparisons to, as you did not purchase or add K-Seal yourself. I am trying to understand why it would cost you more money when you have not stated the original fault and if anything further needs to be fixed.
By all means, contact us directly with any mechanics findings, and I would be more than happy to speak to them to discuss further.

As you will have read, we offer a replacement bottle as part of the guarantee, which I assume you choose to avoid taking advantage of as I can find no record of any communication from you.
Describing something as a "pinhole" is descriptive when we understand the exact measurement of what K-Seal can and cannot do. When I understand the symptoms of the leak, I can advise on the best practice for adding further K-Seal or an alternative solution.

Granted I knew something was wrong with my vehicle as I was refilling coolant every few days and getting along. I used Kseal and the problem went from bad to worse, radiator fluids started draining instantly. I was coping just fine before. Will never use any products of the shelf again without proper advice from a professional.

I have a 2012 bmw x5
I have a 2012 bmw x5. it becomes a nightmare since I started doing repair/service at BMW Tenafly about 3 years ago. For the three years, I have spent over $15000 to deal with engine oil leakage, water pump, check engine light etc. My experience with BMW Tenafly service is horrible - wish to alert friends in North Jersey to avoid going there fore service.
To make the story short, I noticed slow coolant leakage after BMW Tenafly changed my water pump end of July. I had to add 1 gallon coolant every other week.
By web surfing, I noticed K-Seal and tried in the morning of 9/19th. I haven't found any leakage from that moment on.
I know it may be too short to jump into a conclusion. But I am really really happy so far on the result.

Bought a bottle to repair radiator leak, didn't work, so foolishly bought a second bottle and still failed to work. £36 that I could have put towards the new radiator that I had to buy.

We have further information for radiator repairs that might need an alternative product.
What is confusing is that our pull-out bottle instructions discuss contacting us to receive a replacement bottle, which you did not do.
Had you done so, I could have discussed the coolant leak and even offered an alternative solution if applicable.
Readers of this review will likely take note and contact us to gain further information and benefit from your example.

100 year old engine restored to health.
I had a serious coolant leak into one cylinder of my 100 year old 2 stroke engined Trojan car. The cylinder was sealed using an aluminium plug and a chemical reaction back in 1924. Replacement engines or spares for the car no longer available so I was faced with a strip down of half the car, removal of engine for a serious and expensive engineering job that may or may not work, or trying K seal. I followed the instructions on the bottle, there was lots of steam and escaping water but K seal has stopped the leak, sealed the engine and restored the car to use. Many thanks.

I had a serous water leak between the engine and the body and the garage told me it would take two to three days to access and repair it. I was in Edinburgh and had to get a ferry the next day to go home to Dublin. I found K-Seal on line and although I didn’t believe anything could work as well as was claimed, I had no option but to give it a try. I bought two bottles, put one in and followed the instructions. All I can say is that it did exactly what it said on the bottle!! It sealed the leak and I encountered no problems on my journey home. I cannot speak highly enough about this product. Many thanks

DO NOT BUY- BLOCKED THE COOLANT PIPE, could have killed the engine! Bought to stop a leak in the radiator which it did, however it blocked the coolant pipe coming from the expansion tank! Had to wait several hours for recovery into the early hours on my own, arrived home at 3.30am. Lost two days work and received a garage bill! DO NOT BUY, as it does more damage than good resulting in significant consequential losses!

well I can't believe it I found something in a bottle that says it repairs something and it actually does I put it in a 2002 Dodge Grand caravan with a head gasket leak my tailpipe was spitting water put this in when back waited looked at my tailpipe wasn't expecting it to work all sudden the white smoke stop coming on my tailpipe no water checked it it's been 6 months no leaks can't believe it absolutely amazing give it a shot only cause you're 30 bucks what have you got to lose over $2,000 head gasket repair my car has over 215,000 miles on it also great product very happy able to keep my van a little bit longer
