Horrible Customer Service

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered $500+ worth of clothes, they took 6 weeks of no contact after saying only 2/3 week shipping. When I contacted them they offered me to wait longer, and I just requested a refund, they said it would be processed twice and it never was. After the second time they began to ignore my emails. I’m so disgusted, never buy from this brand!!!

This company is the absolute WORST

This company is the absolute WORST! The most disgusting, despicable, scam of a company out there! Stay away! Do not spend your money here! They are liars and frauds!

First off-I received an instagram ad, promoting “30% off their site”. I spent almost $200. Never got an order confirmation, or anything. I tried looking up their customer service number, and there is none-everything is done through email! So I emailed to check the status of my order, and was told they had one of the items in stock, but were waiting on a shipment of the second item. They said they would send out the item that was in stock. I agreed to this. The item came, and it didn’t fit right, so I emailed (the same day I received the package), telling them I’m unhappy with the item, and I’d like to return it, and cancel the item that hasn’t yet been shipped out. They proceed to tell me that since I had used a promo code (that they continuously advertise to lure in customers), I couldn’t get my money back, and that I would have to settle for a store credit. A few emails go back & forth, trying to get them to give me my money back, to no avail. I accept the store credit. They say they will cancel my upcoming order. The next day, I receive an email, saying my order (that I had canceled) was on its way. I send ANOTHER email, informing them of this, and they tell me there was a “glitch” in their system, and to email them once I receive the package. Long story short, I send the package back the day I got it-didn’t even open it. I hear nothing from the company. I email them to check the status of the return, and they tell me “it was noted by our Returns department that your Joggers arrived without the Do Not Remove Tag on them. We would only be able to offer you store credit for that item.” Again, the package wasn’t even opened. I told them as much, and they stopped responding to my emails.

I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I am not at all surprised at the other reviews on this site. I see a similar thread in all the unsatisfactory reviews. This place is a scam, and they continuously lie to their customers!

Terrible Experience + Customer Service :(

I love Morgan Stewart and was super excited to try her athleisure line. I purchased my first order with LA Collective on August 13th and used a 15% off discount code prompted by the website “Sign up and receive 15% on your first order!” Unfortunately, I fell for this “promo” and purchased $350 worth of clothes. Weeks went by and I received nothing. I emailed customer service who relayed they were waiting on 1 sports bra and offered to ship the remaining 3 out of 4 items. Long story short, I finally received 3 out of 4 of the items and emailed them same day that I would like to return the clothes. I received vague pushback citing a policy that they don’t allow returns on orders attached to promo code. I then searched their website and finally found this policy briefly mentioned at the bottom of their support page. I already felt pretty scammed at this point for pulling the “read the fine print” card as my return request was same day and expressed as a sizing/quality concern, BUT here is where it gets worse….

They told me I could exchange the items I received and would ONLY receive a refund for the sports bra that I never received in 10-15 business days because they were still waiting to receive the sports bra from their warehouse? Shady. 15 business days later I inquired about my refund, they ignored my questions/concerns and instead pushed it out another 8 days to September 30th. So, at this point they’ve been holding onto my money for 1.5 months and responding to emails stating “thank you for your patience” while ignoring requests to speak to management/corporate. Today, I took my concerns to social media because they were blowing me off via email and THEN they continually deleted my comments simply asking — “why won’t you refund your customers?” They deleted about 3 comments and instead DMed me to then RIGHT AWAY refund my remaining balance. Like, instantly. I’m now advised I’ll be hearing from “management” regarding the 3 items applicable for store credit, but we’ll see.

In summary…. Selling items that are out of stock, delaying orders many weeks with no explanation, holding customer refunds for merchandise never received, ignoring paying customers, no proper management contact/communication channel, deleting legitimate customer concerns on social media, and a return policy that doesn’t allow refunds on orders used w/promo codes that are advertised to your FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS! I thought it was a discount to welcome new customers, not prohibit them from refunds while treating them with such disregard. I have receipts, documented communication, and screenshots supporting all this. SO bummed to have had this experience, I wish I could just get all my money back :(

Really wanted to be able to have a good…

Really wanted to be able to have a good experience here. Huge fan of Morgan Stewart so was buzzing to have some of her collection. However over a month has passed and nothing. Tracking has said the same thing the whole time. When I reached out to them was told there is a manufacturer problem they’re still waiting to get the items in. Which surprised me as how could they let me pay for an item they don’t even have? They gave me a $25 voucher which is useless as I can’t use it knowing items will not get delivered. Reached out twice and not heard anything back. Wish I could say good things but sadly I can’t. I’m over $200 out of pocket and no sign of my items.

Run away far and FAST

Run away far and FAST. LA Collective does not care about regular consumers. All their items are designed by influencers, yet they don't care about the people purchasing these items. I have been waiting to hear one single thing about an order I placed on July 17. I reached out on Instagram and their social media intern said someone would get back to me, but that was BS to just get me off their case. I wish I had come here before placing such a large and expensive order. This is honestly super embarrassing to have no regard for the people helping keep your little influencer haven alive. To those who leave reviews on the website of the items, do you mind sharing what it's like getting the items you paid for? I bet it feels nice to have something to review.

SCAM - Report Fraud

ZERO stars should be an option. Ive been waiting for my purchase and it looks like I'll be waiting awhile. When I reached out to LA Collective wondering when they're going to ship thats when they tell me it's out of stock. It wasn't advertised as out of stock or as a pre order. I looked at the site right now and what I am waiting for is still available to purchase. How can you allow people to buy out of stock items? They keep saying they're waiting for the items from the manufacture. Like what the... I reached out via instagram and they respond right away but if you comment they'll delete your comments so you're not getting the truth about them and their brand. I warn you don't purchase its really NOT worth it.

Update - Ive reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest everyone else do the same report online shopping fraud. (it won't let me post the link but google it) Also report fraud to your credit card company.

This is by far the worst customer…

This is by far the worst customer experience ever! Feels like their product is coming from China, and not Los Angeles where it states on their website. Placed my order on July 20th, still haven't received it (it's been a month almost)
Tried to reach them 4 times via email, no response at all.
Not worth your time and money

Great customer service

Great customer service! Staff was super friendly and quick to respond to my questions. I will definitely continue to use them in the future. And their stuff is made in the USA!!! #buylocal

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! We returned a pair of shoes 2 months ago and I still have not received my money back! Contacting this company is impossible, if I dont receive my refund in 2 days I'm calling the BBB!

It's not worth it

0 stars, I have nothing new to add to all of the other reviews. the WORST customer service experience. I think they hope that you just get frustrated, give up and keep the product. The product sucks (tops and bottoms don't match in color, sizing is all over the place, unflattering fit, fabric is subpar etc.), the customer service sucks (EXTREMELY unresponsive after multiple follow ups, won't provide a return label etc.), shipping takes forever, they will only offer store credit, seems very shady. Buy from any other activewear line.

It's a shame to find a company with no value in their customer

I had an awful experience with this company. It took 7 weeks to receive my order of 2 masks and 1 shirt. The customer service team was unapologetic and acted as though my issue was of no concern to them.

I placed my order, received the email saying standard shipping would take 2-3 days but with covid delays it might take an additional 2-3 days. Sounds very reasonable. I receive an email after 6 days with shipment information. When I go to track the order this tracking number tells me the order is in pre-shipment and has not reached USPS. Two weeks go by and the same message appears. When I reach out to customer service it takes a few days for them to respond, they give a non-response, response and I reach out three more times for a status update. It is now 4 weeks since I placed my order with no signs of receiving the order and a tracking number that tells me nothing is on the way. The customer service team in the following 3 weeks gives me the run around telling me my order is on the way with multiple different ship dates that result in nothing being shipped. FINALLY after 7 weeks from the order date I receive the order. It is fine for the shipment process takes 6-7 weeks to get an order out however, prepare your customer for this time frame.

It's a shame when you find a company with no value in their customer.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

They first lied to me about the status of my order when I reached out after a month had gone buy since my purchase. They said it was fine and normal due to Covid. Ok. Two weeks later I reach out again as nothing has happened. They say yeah that’s not normal shipping label will be made. That didn’t happen either. I had to email again which they then said it will for sure be done. Shipping label was made. Another two weeks since the shipping label is made and it’s still in their warehouse. I email again and it gets sent out the next day. It took over a month in express shipping to get here. They were kind the entire time but were being shady and lied several times. I then was offered a $50 which I took. Side note; I’m fairly certain they sold this product before they even had it in their warehouse and that’s why it took so long and the many excuses. Ok so I got my clothes (Morgan Stewart sport); a taupe bra, tank top and sweatpants. They’re not taupe they are a tinted green. The sweatpants literally feel like A SHOP TOWEL FROM HOME DEPOT. The quality you get for the price is actually comical. I’m laughing at how bad this whole experience has been and have definitely learned a valuable lesson in doing research before buying.

Lesson Learned

Big Zero! Charged me for the order. Never received the order. Tracking still shows that the order is in Canoga Park, CA. La Collective Customer Care is a joke. They won’t cancel my order per “Tyler” and won’t answer any questions as to when I’ll receive the order. To top it off I’ve received several emails asking the same question with a grammar error “How would you rate the help gave you?” I should of known better than to order from a company before researching them and the reviews. Lesson learned.

I have tried to contact customer…

I have tried to contact customer service. They do not respond and have taken me around in circles and now it’s too late to cancel my order apparently. They have a terrible return policy to begin with given there is no brick & mortar store where you can actually try the items on. Will NEVER purchase from here again and DO NOT recommend anything from this site.

THE WORST customer service

Absolutely THE WORST customer service. I ordered two sets of leggings and sports bras from the Morgan Stewart line, and the color of the top and bottoms don’t exactly match (sizing is pretty off too especially for the bras). The terra-cotta set was ok even with the color mismatch but the taupe leggings from her new line have a green hint to it; when I brought this up to them instead of providing me with the return label that I had already requested several times, they asked for proof and excused with how the dye is different for every pair and has slight variations. That doesn’t justify the fact that taupe looks green and it’s absolutely not as pictured. They dragged this a few days and went back and forth until I demanded I needed the return label especially considering their 15-day return policy I didn’t have that much time left. However, they were very quick with providing me a label to exchange an item from the other set, which I didn’t end up sending seeing how much they delay services and didn’t want to wait forever on a sports bra (ended up giving it to a friend rather then dealing with their customer service again). They’ve received my return (confirmed by email) since May 14th and I still haven’t received my refund after almost 2 months. A month after they had received my return they excused it on Shopify holding funds which seeing all these other reviews I’m convinced this is not a COVID-19 related issue at all, but them having an awful customer service regardless. I did give them another month since that exchange and no refund still, so at this pointed I just disputed my charge, than having to deal with them ever again.

IT’S TOTAL CRAB!!!
I do really like the lines they carry, but the customer service team (Morgan Stewart line) is SO TERRIBLE I can't see myself ever doing business with them again.

After ordering three times from them I had such bad experiences that I wrote a bad review on Trust Pilot and there response was RIDICULOUS!
I received a email from them apologizing and offering me a $50 credit (what was really nice). So I thought let me give them one more change and I Ordered a new pair of joggers from Morgan Steward (love those btw) but I asked if they could apply that credit to my outstanding order. Then they told me that I would need to send them proof that I removed my review from Trust Pilot before they activated my credit.
I was under the impression that they offered me $50 off because of my bad experience. But they only want to give it to me if I take down my earlier review.
I found this extremely unethical way to conduct costumer service, they are basically bribing me. The fact that they can’t even work with customers on a basic level shows how incredibly unprofessional this company is. I was giving them a second change and I would have probably removed the review and written a nice one on my own free will.

But they can keep there petty $50 dollars I’m sure they need it more!!

Also, I still haven’t received my money back after a month of my return. I’ve send them plenty of emails, but I barley get any response.

TERRIBLE quality and customer service

TERRIBLE quality and customer service. Would give 0 stars if I could. Top and bottom of the bundle were not the same color. I emailed customer service of my disappoint and sent pictures of the bundle. They told me to mail it back for a refund. I mailed the bundle back and have not heard from them when they received it over a week ago. I have emailed them numerous times, no answer. Am stuck with over $100 charge with no product and no reimbursement.

Seriously don’t buy

Seriously don’t buy. The sizing is ridiculous and awkwardly fit you. I’m 26, 5’2, and about 95 pounds (naturally very skinny), I wear a 32A bra size and the S sports bra is so tight I struggled getting it on. I fit into the XS leggings but they get awkwardly loose by the ankles and the v is clearly seen lol, MAJOR camel toe. If you buy from a sale you can’t exchange nor return so I am stuck with these horrible products.

A total disappointment - don’t buy from LA Collective

A total disappointment. Do not waste your money, I bought 2 sets in a size medium, my normal size in all my activewear. The leggings I received both fit extremely small and completely different. One pair of leggings I could barely get past my knees they were that tiny. I even checked their sizing chart! And only 1 item had an attached tag. Half my items didn’t even have a brand label on the clothes to mark the brand or size. That’s ridiculous for how expensive this brand is, you expect a label. Tried to get my money back and customer service will not budge but to give me store credit. I don’t want to rebuy this brand as it was such poor quality, have no idea what my size is with them and do not want to shop with this company again. They will not refund my money as I bought the items on a site wide Memorial Day promotion. No mention on the Memorial Day promotion did it say “all promotions final sale”. I found the refund policy misleading and confusing as I believed bought within the premiers of a refund or else I wouldn’t of purchased. I made the purchase as a treat to myself - splurged expecting quality and it’s been a stressful, awful experience.
