A truly bucket-list holiday to Borneo with Ladies Who Travel Group — and what an adventure it was! This was my first trip with the group, travelling alongside 15 other ladies, including 5 fellow newbies, and our wonderful host Shareen and her daughter Amie. I had high expectations after reading all the reviews from previous trips, and I can honestly say this holiday did not disappoint! From start to finish, Borneo was absolutely incredible. The wildlife, river cruises, magical fireflies, steam train journey, white-water rafting, stunning beaches and so, so much more made this a trip I will never forget. I thought our accommodation at the first destination was fantastic, but every time we moved on to somewhere new, it somehow got even better! And then came our final destination — Bungaraya Island Resort — which was simply perfection. It was the most beautiful way to finish an already amazing trip, and I actually shed a few tears on our last day when it was time to go. I did not want to leave. A huge shout-out also has to go to our fantastic guides, Jay and Kat, who looked after us so well throughout the trip and always made sure we were where we needed to be, at exactly the right time. And Jay — I honestly have no idea how he managed to spot crocodiles, snakes, birds and all sorts of wildlife in the dark! I came home with wonderful memories, lots of laughter, new friendships and a serious case of the post-holiday blues. And I think the best testament to how much I loved my experience is that since coming home, I've already booked another 2 trips with Ladies Who Travel Group! And I can’t wait. I couldn't recommend this trip highly enough — a truly magical experience and one that will stay with me for a very long time. Holiday was excellent loved the accommodations and trips out to see the orangutans & other wildlife.
Great experience mixed in with some downtime. Company very friendly.
If you’re thinking of doing a solo tour I recommend ladies who travel.
I met a lady on my first trip to Thailand and we extended our Borneo trip visit on the way out visiting other countries on route before joining the tour in Borneo.
I would never have experienced this if I wasn’t brave enough to book my first tour. So glad to have been a part of this amazing holiday making memories I will hold close to me.

I’ve just returned from my first trip with Ladies Who Travel - an unforgettable trip to Borneo.
The whole tour completely exceeded my expectations.
We were unbelievably fortunate to see so much wildlife - seeing orangutans in the wild will be a memory I will treasure for years to come.
We stayed in fabulous places, some surrounded by rainforests, and we experienced all the sights and sounds.
Shareen and Amy were incredible hosts, their enthusiasm was truly infectious.
Meeting the other 15 ladies was a real highlight. Everyone was welcoming and kind. We shared so many special moments together, and so much laughter.
What a special time, with special women.. thank you Ladies Who Travel for bringing us all together for such an amazing adventure.

Home after 2 amazing weeks in Borneo with Ladies who travel this being my 11th holiday with them. Friends often ask why I keep choosing them- it’s simple they’re a small family business consisting of Shareen and her 3 lovely daughters who equally have a roll in the business and that makes all the difference, it genuinely feels like travelling with friends on each and everyone of my travels. Shareen also always arranges a wonderful local host in whichever country we’re visiting so we get the best of both worlds.
Borneo was breathtaking, orang-utans, rainforests, sunsets. I’ve already booked my next 2 holidays with Ladies who travel.

Borneo- what an amazing trip! Shareen pulled out all the stops for this trip! We were truly blessed to see the Borneo’s 5 main animals in the wild plus a lot more. There were hikes, river cruises day and night, steam trains, white water rafting, snorkelling and amazing hotels in amazing locations a A holiday I will never forget! Thank you.

Had a lovely time on my second group trip, this time to Wiltshire. Our host, Wendy, was great, she organised us without making us feel like school children and made sure we all got to see and do what we wanted to. She even pandered to my slightly weird dietary requirements which felt like going over and above.
Hesdin was a lovely place to stay and I would definitely recommend it, however there were a few, small little niggles mainly around storage (or lack of) in the rooms and the lack of lighting when in the hot tub, but these didnt really affect our enjoyment.
Looking forward to booking my next adventure with LWT.

I am so grateful that I have just been able to experience this wonderful trip, with an amazing group of women. Shareen, the owner and founder of the Company worked tirelessly to ensure that each person on the tour was valued, and it's something very special to come together with a group of Ladies, and make amazing memories together that will last forever. We had so much fun!
The itinerary on the trip was fantastic. Being able to see Orangutans in their natural habitat, and all the other monkeys, birds and wildlife was fantastic. Venturing out on a speedboat in the middle of the night to capture crocodiles, birds, snakes, monkeys etc, not to mention trees full of fireflies, and proboscis monkeys! What an experience! We stayed in some amazing lodges and hotels amongst the rainforest, and finished on a remote island full of tropical flowers, lush greenery everywhere, and a beautiful unspoilt beach, where we snorkelled, kayaked, and just soaked up the stunning surroundings, and watched groups of rhinoceros hornbills gliding between the trees. It was truly a magnificent holiday!

The opportunity to meet ladies who are welcoming, fun, and open minded. The venue was well equipped, furnished beautifully, with excellent amenities. Just returned from Wiltshire, I had a fantastic fun holiday and made some wonderful friends

I was introduced to Ladies Who Travel just over a year ago and I haven't looked back since. I am single and have lovely friends who have different lifestyles or commitments so was often taking myself away which was fine but I craved holiday company. At first I decided to arrange a local meet up which became a monthly event. I have been on 2 trips, NYE Looe, Finland and most recently Wiltshire. I thought to try NYE and the barns were beautiful, the host and group really fab. Was I lucky? Nope.

After seeing the Finland trip, the Northern Lights were on my bucket list. My spirit of adventure grabbed the chance. Wow. What a trip that was. Absolutely stunning and life changing. I am booked for a trip in 27 and sneaked the Wiltshire trip for 26 and what a beautiful place it was. I just got back and am still high on the experience. It is a fantastic location for exploring and the accommodation had everything and more.

On all of my trips I have met wonderful women who are inspiring, welcoming and lift each other up. I have made solid friendships that continue to blossom and feel fulfilled in so many ways. Respect and compromise are important values to bring with you.

Embrace any nerves and convert them into courage. Try a trip with this group. It isn't a door to door service but has support throughout.

Chats are arranged before each tour which helps organise travel to the destination and meet ups. I found booking, the process of payments and information easy. The UK trips are carefully located and fluid for guests to follow their own itinerary. The foreign trips have an itinerary foundation that will give you memories you never imagined. No peer pressure, only empowerment.

Shareen curates opportunities so you can spread your wings as a women and feel safe. I have never been so motivated to work so I can book more trips with LWT. My employer says thank you!

My second trip with LWT and loved every minute of it again. Our host Wendy was fabulous and looked after everyone. The group of ladies were all friendly and welcoming. I left with new friends and even more people to travel with. Highly recommend travelling with LWT, go with an open mind and an open heart and you will find a wonderful group of women who will lift eachother up and support eachother.

This was my first time meeting anyone in this group. There were 16 of us and although a few of the other ladies knew each other, the majority of people didn’t know each other. I was very nervous at first, but not for long. The other ladies were fabulous and so friendly, welcoming & supportive. Everyone got on and we all left as friends. The house we stayed at in Wiltshire was very high end, with stunning views, hot tub and swimming pool. I left a different person than when I arrived & even booked another trip for next year while I was there. Cannot rate Ladies Who Travel high enough.

This was my first trip away and was very apprehensive but from the minute I met everyone it was amazing. The host Wendy looked after us so well. By the time I left I felt like I had another 15 friends. Truly a great experience, do it again in a heartbeat 💗

I had been a bystander on the Ladies Who Travel Facebook group for a few months, looking at all the holidays available. Although I’ve travelled solo I thought it would be nice to try a small group break.
I was not disappointed when I booked on the Wiltshire holiday. As I had lived in Bath I thought I know where I’m going so if I did not like group travel I can always take myself off alone to Bath for the time away, But, I loved every minute of it!! Felt at easy from the beginning. Our host Wendy was great, ensuring that we had the best of times, co-ordinating trips we had booked and meals out and being mindful no one was left on their own .
A number of us enjoyed it so much that we have already booked further LWT holidays. Croatia here we come

The glamping camp was wonderful to stay in Ian was so very helpful and pleasant
Sue was a great leader could not not have done anything more to make the visit lots of fun
We had a lots of choices to do in the area thanks to Sue local knowledge
Did not have issues with my tent colleagues I am early riser so just prepared night before slipped out they slept on

Had an amazing time in the Peak District with amazing ladies. Sue,our host was a star. Walked talked ate drank. Gorgeous venue. Will do it all again. Thankyou x

This was my 5th LWT trip and my 2nd time joining the Peak District Bank Holiday glamping weekend — and once again, it did not disappoint!

Another amazing group of ladies to get to know, as well as the chance to catch up with some familiar faces I’ve met on previous LWT adventures.

It was definitely a different vibe from last year thanks to the rain, but even that had its charm. There’s something quite lovely about listening to the rain while curled up in a cosy yurt, log burner going and a glass of wine in hand!

Twenty ladies once again provided the best mix of advice, entertainment, laughter and unexpected life lessons. Another set of adventures undertaken and ticked off, along with a whole new collection of ridiculous catchphrases that will probably keep us giggling for a lifetime!

Thank you to Sue for being our host and somehow keeping us all in check, and to Shareen for organising such a brilliant venue.

Just returned from my 3rd trip with LWT. My first trip last year to this one in the Peak district has been life changing. What can I say the Peak District is stunning as was the accommodation we stayed in . The lovely ladies i met weren't too bad either. If you haven't travelled with this company before I'd highly recommend it. I've met great friends, travelled to some fantastic places and stayed in top class accommodation. Just book it!

Just got back from another fab Ladies Who Travel trip. This one was the Peak District Glamping break. We all had a fantastic time and Sue, our host made sure everyone was good. We went to Chatsworth and Matlock. Wine in the hot tub not to be missed. Laughed so much my throat was sore the next morning. Can’t wait for the next one. If you are thinking about taking a solo trip I really recommend this group, you won’t regret it, made some more new friends and met up with some lovely ladies from previous trips x

Just back from a great weekend glamping in the Peak District, fabulous location, amenities and an even more fabulous host! Lots of happy memories made , meeting lots of lovely ladies! Sue, you were great host !
