We recently used Lambert Pugh for the sale of a freehold property. We received a competitive fixed fee quote and received a first class service from our conveyancer Anita Williams. Anita was a pleasure to communicate with, professional, efficient, kind and very helpful. She always answered our calls and emails promptly. We would recommend Lambert Pugh and Anita and would certainly request a quote from them again should we need conveyancing in the future.

This is the second time in 12 months we have used the services provided by Lambert Pugh. Once to sell and once to buy. Their fixed-fee approach is highly cost effective and on both occasions we were fortunate to have Anita Williams handle our conveyancing needs. Anita provides a first class service - never need to chase her for anything. Always on top of what is happening, friendly and totally organised.

I had a house to sell. Found Lambert Pugh in an online search. They were the least expensive by a long way, my situation was simple so I appointed them.
I was surprised at the high level of clear communication I had with the team appointed to me. On my side it went very smoothly. We just had to wait on the other side's solicitors to sort their act out, they had to change them once too.
Anita at Lambert Pugh was on top of it all the way through, keeping the process going by chasing the sellers solicitors frequently. This was not an additional expense, she was just getting the work done as quickly as possible.
I am alll paid up now and happy to recommend Anita Williams for good communication, competence and competitive pricing.

After a search online my initial choice of Lambert Pugh was that it was showing as the most competitive price, albeit I did expect there to be more add ons of fees on final invoice, however I was pleasantly surprised when I didn't and I received a great response and a quick and thorough process on the purchase of my home from Team 5. Well the buying of this property was done in first lock down, I did find it hard not being able to talk to someone when I phoned and could only leave a message,but I was contacted as soon as possible, this is second time I have used this firm and would be happy to use them again,they were friendly and helpful,and sorted out a few problems that came along, I would highly recommend them.

First the good part. We completed our sale and purchase on 30 June, so within the stamp duty holiday.
The bad part is that the whole process was made even more stressful because Lambert Pugh never responded to any of our emails or phone calls asking a question about an unusual covenant on our purchase. In the end we had to get another solicitor to explain what it meant.
Lambert Pugh did what they had to, but they made hard work of it.
We would not use them again, and would not recommend them.

I was concerned about using an online company and at the more reasonable end of the price range. However I was really pleased with the speed and professionalism of the team especially Anita Williams who was very patient and organised with us.

Anita reassured us along the way including when we had some issues with planning and explained different solutions and all done in a timely manner which was required by both sides.

The property sale was far from straightforward as one of the joint owners is a registered bankrupt. This meant that our conveyancer had to deal with all the normal challenges plus having to act as intermediary with the co-owners trustees solicitor.
