Awful!!! Stay away from this company.
I believe my password was changed or something because I could not get into my account and I know the password I'm using was right. They don't let me reset, therefore I can't cancel the membership and keep being charged $25 a month. Ridiculous.

Tried emailing them a million times but they will not respond.

I wanted to improve my Greek, so I tried a free trial first. It was useless. They only spoke Greek to me via WhatsApp. As a beginner, that's no use at all. I wanted to cancel the free trial, but I couldn't find anywhere to confirm this, so I never got it. I asked via WhatsApp if I was still committed to anything; the answer was no. I tried to log in, but the password didn't work. I requested a password reset. I didn't receive anything. In the meantime, €139 had already been debited from my account, which I can't reverse. I've sent several emails, but unfortunately no response! Scammers!!!

The Service is not what I was looking for but that’s okay.
My negative experience comes from the process afterwards:
I could not access my account anymore, because the password did not work (it was saved by my password app, so it can’t be wrong). Trying to reset the password did not do anything - no response from the website.
Contacting the support did not lead to a response either. So I cancelled the service by email (in fact - 20 emails over 3 months) which i never received a response on. Now they tried to charge the yearly subscription fee, and my response to that (to the official mail support (at) langbuddy.ai) apparently did not reach anyone at customers service either. So overall the worst customer service I have ever experienced - do! not! subscribe! to! langbuddy.ai!

They continue to steal money from my bank account monthly after assuring me that my subscription has been cancelled and it won’t happen again. Read the “positive” reviews on here carefully because they sound like they were written by AI or bots because no one I know IRL has had a good experience with this company.

Achtung Betrugsfirma!! Es wird eine Testphase angeboten von 3 Tagen, es ist aber keine Kündigung möglich!! Es kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung. Emails an die angegebene Mailadresse gehen ins Leere, alle ohne Antwort! Es wurden nach der Testphase 139 EUR abgebucht ohne Berechtigung weil Kündigung technisch nicht möglich!! Ich werden das melden bei der Bank, Polizei Anwalt und Verbraucherzentrale. Unglaublich dass das noch möglich ist!!!

Absolutely disgraceful customer service! I purchased a subscription a year ago, cancelled months later (or so I thought), and suddenly—without a single email or receipt—I find £80 taken from my account. In 2025, failing to send customers even the most basic reminder about an upcoming payment isn’t just outdated, it’s outright shady business practice.

To make matters worse, I reached out to their so-called “customer service” nearly a week ago and have been met with total silence. No response, no acknowledgement—nothing. If this is how they treat paying customers, then this company clearly values profit over honesty and accountability. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being ignored and blindsided.

No support. SCAM free trial! Even though i cancelled my free trial i was charged $159. anyway! I have sent SEVERAL emails to "support" at langbuddy.ai and gotten not a single response! False claims and SCAM app! NEGATIVE ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AND THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ANY OTHER WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM! I WANT A FULL REFUND!

I cancelled my trial.

In terms of the technology it is useful.However i have an issue with my account and contacted the support team through email and received no response until now.I would say their support is not up to par.I would be grateful if it could get back to me

I’m a bit of an introvert and didn't want to get judge while learning, so I've been practicing conversation and now I feel ready to start speaking in public.LangBuddy has been good with local expressions and correct my verbs, grammar etc...

using it to learn portuguese, it really helped me with practicing my common mistakes.

I've been using langbuddy since 6 months now, and when I visited italy this chrismass, I was able to do everything in Italian like ordering food, asking for directions and even made a few friends! Can only recommend!!!

With my work it's really hard to find time to practice, langbuddy is convinently sitting on whatsapp so I can chat whenever I want. Keep it up.

I started using LangBuddy because I wasn’t confident speaking Spanish in public. Even though I’ve been taking Spanish classes, I felt like I needed more practice in a different way than in classes with everyone staring at me. Langbuddy is nice cause I can just make as many mistakes as i want an it will keep correcting me.

French always intimidated me with its tricky grammar and pronunciation but this AI tutor turned it into an enjoyable practice sesssions. I’ve been practicing daily, and now I can finally hold a proper conversations.
