I just spoke to a consultant at Lateral and they were very helpful in explaining their policy to me. As an active lady in my ‘70’s it’s very important to get the right care and support when it comes to my healthcare. I would definitely recommend them.

Great idea for the older generation.. We’ve always looked after our health but needed a more affordable care plan to suit our needs, now we’re close to retirement age.. and great that if need be, we can still benefit from NHS facilities..
Also, I was impressed with their prompt service it made all the difference..

Came upon this product while looking for alternatives to BUPA. Looks to be a very good model using both private and NHS services which keeps it affordable and well-suited to older people. People I spoke with on the phone were helpful and knowledgeable, they even answered the phone promptly which deserves a couple of stars itself.

This cover looks well designed for my demographic and the pricing is great compared to other health insurers.
To be fair, other health insurers have a bigger coverage but it is not what I need.

The website was very accessible, informative and easy to navigate. What's more, I followed up with a call to ask some questions. The person I spoke to was very helpful with no pressure and seemed to know what they were talking about. Very nice to share a positive experience.

A first class solution for active people of a certain age looking for health insurance.
I have been very impressed with the many benefits of Lateral Health Insurance and I'm particularly looking forward to my free BlueCrest health check in the next few weeks.

I never thought I would need health insurance, but as you get to a certain age, I really do feel it is a must if you want to be seen quickly and have access to the right care.

I was sent for a series of blood tests and health checks, and I have to say I was genuinely amazed by the follow-up. What I initially thought was just another magazine arriving through the post turned out to be a detailed breakdown of every test I had undergone.

Intelligent way of approaching the 'elderly active' on their home turf.

I’ve been a Lateral customer for a few months now. I first heard about them through a family member and also saw their ads on Facebook. I had a look and found it easy to get a quote, and the price was very competitive especially as I live in London. I really liked that it seemed to be aimed at people my age who are still active and want to stay that way.

The health check has probably been my favourite part so far. I was already paying to have one done each year anyway so this was a real bonus for me. I especially liked getting the paper report through the post afterwards with all the results and a summary of my numbers which I’ve kept to refer back to. I think getting checked properly once a year is really important as you get older.

I’ve also booked one of the private GP calls and there were lots of times available which made it very easy.

I haven’t had to make a claim yet and hopefully wont need to! But so far I’ve been really pleased with it and it feels like good value for what you get.
