Great holiday in South America
Well looked after throughout from booking through amazing experiences to safe return home

This is the 2nd trip we have booked with Latin Routes and I'm so pleased we used them again. We had already chosen the route (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru, 3 week trip) we wanted to take when we contacted them, Kevin then offered some other great options and gave great advice. Our trip was excellent, the agents they use in South America are all first rate, our guides were fantastic and we had excellent centrally located accommodation. If we visit South America again, we will definitely use Latin Routes and highly recommend them.

I went to Latin Routes not quite knowing where I wanted to go, except that it must be to Latin America. Kevin and I discussed options, and he came up with several lovely ideas but we eventually settled on my dream place, Chile and the Atacama Desert. The itinerary was exactly as I envisaged it, the accommodation and trips brilliant. Unfortunately, I had to back out at that stage. However, circumstances changed and I returned. Jenna picked up the baton and based on Kevin's earlier work, produced the ideal itinerary, date and cost. The incredible patience, friendliness, professionalism and understanding of both Kevin and Jenna was second to none. I heartily recommend Latin Routes

Everything worked like clockwork, meaning that there was no stress and we were able to sit back and enjoy the trip. Paul's suggestions on itinery turned out to be fabulous too and really added to our experience. If you are looking to travel to South America, talk to Latin Routes.

Kevin Marsh our contact proved to be extremely helpful arranging our itinerary, and even more so when we experienced a family bereavement two weeks before we were due to go. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
The holiday was brilliant and the guides and the weather were exceptional.
Passport Control at Santiago is not good. It is under staffed even when several planes land at similar times.
We had to wait two hours. There is a separate area for elderly, disabled parents with small children and pregnant women.

Latin Routes, and their travel adviser Kevin, provided a consultative, informed and intelligent service, when we were preparing the itinerary for a 6 week South America trip, that sold their company to us. We engaged them to deliver what was a bespoke 6 week dream holiday in Chile (including Easter Island) , Bolivia and Peru and I am not exaggerating when I say that they met, and in most cases exceeded, our very high expectations. Their customer service, and that of their local partners, was second to none. The holiday was the best one we’ve ever been on and while you might find a cheaper service provider, I doubt you will find a better one. LR organised a special holiday for us in Chile - They understood our requirements well and put together an excellent schedule of travel, accommodation and excursions which gave us an outstanding experience.

When you have a problem your on your own, when 28 days of 32 day trip had issues, 3 months on nothing has been done, even though spoken at length with directors, please look on you tube for some of the many videos, it was worse than some monty python farce day after day.
Update, Your reply is an absolute lie you have never ever contacted me, when on my trip or the following 3 months, this is only contact in third party terms i have ever received.

And even when the unexpected happen we felt very supported.

We have travelled twice now with Latin Routes and have been really impressed by their attention to detail in their tailoring the holidays to our requirements. In Mexico recently the partner agency they worked with was superb, and everything (road and air transfers, tours and particularly the quality of the guides) was impressively organised. Highly recommended!

From the first interaction with the company to the end of their involvement with our Colombian odyssey they were extremely professional, and I would highly recommend them. We have visited 128 countries in our travels, and this was up there with the best.

Great trip organised by Paul from Latin Routes

This was my first experience with Latin Routes. Paul Mason listened carefully to what I was hoping to see in Argentina and Chile, and also to my needs as a single traveller. As a result, developing the itinerary went well. The hotels were in good locations and the excursions interesting. I saw some amazing sights - Iguazu Falls, the tours north of Salta and the lakes in Chile/Argentina were highlights. The communication with the local agents was good and I never felt isolated. I would definitely recommend Latin Routes and travel with them again.

Holiday well planned supported by a very informative App. Went to South America, through Chile, Bolivia and Peru plus Amazon experience, just under 4 weeks. 8 flights, 3 trains, 2 buses, private guides and transfers as well, many hotels. All went to plan and luggage always where it should be. Used Michele for booking. Recommended

The planning of our holiday made sure that we increased our exposure to higher attitudes gradually. It also ensured that we saw everything we wanted to in Peru. The hotel choices were very good and the local guides and drivers were excellent.

Highly professional company. Well organised and their local agents in country were first class. We were able to enjoy a relatively complex schedule knowing that all the arrangements had been taken care of.

We had a fantastic time as a family of 6 in Peru, from rainforest to the mountain range. The people, the view, and fresh air, all amazing ! The app is very useful and local agent is very attentive in sending daily update about trip next day. A few issues regarding hotels check in and can’t find local agents at airport got sorted quite promptly as well.

We are also very glad that our luggage got transferred to Lima directly without the need of taking out and re check in at Miami as we have been told. Bit confusing as we were told differently but glad it worked.

Unfortunately there are some issues with hotel, such as the roof was leaking in the amazon eco
Lodge the night when it was raining, and the hotel in Cusco was tidy, where you can bearly walk in and out with no seating area. The photos shows a lot biggger in size, and if we knew it was so small, we would have to change or upgrade, as we r spending 3 nights especially after the Inca trail.

Overall it was a great holiday with Latin route, will recommend.
