It was so overpriced and worse than a $2 lipstick on sale at the chemist !
So drying ! Doesn't stay ! Just such a waste of money ! It is supposed to be caviar enhanced ! Wow ! It certainly doesn't feel like it ! It's terrible !!!!!!!
Caviar Sticks - Buyers Beware
Their Caviar Sticks on the market are absolutely terrible functionally. The colors and the product inside the sticks are beautiful. However, the actual color product inside the stick does not stay in place or function the way it was designed. When you open the stick and try to apply the color to your eyelid, the actual product falls out. I reached out to the company directly and was told to take back to Sephora. No additional support was given. The product is $33 per stick. Expensive when you know the product isn't functioning the way it should. I have 3 sticks and each one the product falls out. I have gone back to Sephora to get replacements and it happens all over again. I have a sister that has 3 of them and it has happened to her. This is a larger problem than an isolated issue.

Yesterday I went to John Lewis in Edinburgh , and the sales girl doesn’t impressed me at all, I bought £ 164.00 in 10 minutes however while she was selling me the products, the sister was coming and she lost the attention and sold me the wrong foundation shade . I was looking for a lipstick and she was chatting with her sister and ignored me . I went to buy to Bobby Brown the lipstick and lip liner . As the cherry on the cake the girl at Laura Mercier doesn’t know what clean brand means , and after I bought £ 164.00 the only sample she offered was kind of shower gel which I left with her , quite rude at the end . So concentrated to talk with her sister . Never again . I put a complaint with Laura Mercier and robotic replied to my complaint what unacceptable treatment for your client .
Not all product is product - fraud!
I love the products, the texture is great.
But after my product fell, it turned out that by far MOST of the “product” consisted of a clay plate, which unfortunately I cannot use to apply on my face.
Think carefully the next time you spend so much money on a product—you don't know how much you're really getting, and in my case I was being deceived and cheated by the weight, size, and volume.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Had problems with placing my first order and they have not honoured the promotion that I qualified for.
I made contact at the earliest opportunity and the promotion was still in place however they have chosen not to honour it.
Very poor customer relations. So my first order will be my last. A little bit of good will goes a long way . I’m surprised you are happy to disregard new customers and I am sorry to have had to leave a poor review. Word of mouth counts for a lot and I’m sure a free tote bag won’t have been worth bad press.
I love this foundation, hate their packaging.
I love this foundation. It goes on smoothly and looks great on my mid-sixties skin. Unfortunately, the pump packaging is very poor quality. Over the past year, I’ve purchased two bottles from the Sephora inside Kohl’s.
On the first bottle, the pump started getting stuck whenever I pressed it. I cleaned it out, and it worked once before completely falling apart. Assuming this was just a fluke, I bought a second bottle. That one worked for about two months before the exact same issue started.
I contacted customer service, but they weren’t able to help. Sephora also told me it was past their return window. As much as I like the formula, I’ll probably have to go back to my previous Dior foundation.
Shocking delivery - two weeks after ordering still not even 'on the way'
I ordered an item on 3rd September, latest delivery supposed to be 9th. Didn't arrive. Contacted the company and they said it hadn't been processed. They raised another order, but two weeks on I've still not received it and it's not even 'on its way'. It's a shame because the products themselves are great.
Do not buy Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer
I made the company aware of their Hydrating Primer which splits at the top so the product goes everywhere. This happened to a replacement I was sent. Given that these were sent from another well known and trusted retailer, they told me to go back with my complaint to them. I told them that it is up to the manufacturer surely to sort and investigate. Nothing to do with where I ordered these from. They just didn’t want to know. I thought to make people aware of the terrible customer service from Laura Mercier.
I wasn’t even after a third replacement as it would probably be faulty too.
Had a complaint about a product…
Had a complaint about a product containing talc. Reply said to consult a doctor before I use it as talc can contain asbestos. The reply was inadequate and did not help me. Won’t be buying again

Said my items were dispatched, then they said I wasn’t in, then they said it was delayed, then they said next working day, now they can’t find my address!
Thankfully paid with PayPal, got my money refunded

10 days later I’m still waiting for delivery from Laura MERCIER website-ordered it 6/20, currently it’s 6/30😵. It’s been sitting around Houston since Last WEEK!! Still not out for delivery 🚚 I took advantage of their 25% off sale but seriously, I would have paid FULL price from Sephora or Amazon, because this is ridiculous!! Sent them 2 emails RE: my order yet NOTHING. Never ever again. Your product CANNOT be that Good!!

Purchased the illuminated primer and was shocked how I paid $46.00 for only 1 oz. This is the third time they have changed their formula from a beautiful illuminated to almost clear. I had a hard time adjusting to their last change but now it's watered down and instead of receiving 1.7oz they only give you 1oz. Price is still the same. I'm returning it and will not continue using Laura Mercia anymore.
The company says they have improved their products but I believe they are cutting corners to save a buck.
I also ordered my tinted moisturizer in sand color and it was a few shades lighter than my last tube. This too I am sending back. $108.00 was a waste of my time and money. The brand Laura Mercier has replaced too many good products since it was bought out in 2021.

Have finally agreed to dispatch a replacement and haven’t even had the decency to send it express delivery.

20 year love life with LM ended by one call
Since LM reformulated the Tinyed Foundation Skin Foundation, which has been my go to forever and available at Sephora, I discovered that their Skin Tint Natural Dewy Tinted Moisturizer is similar but after talking to the LM advisor online, my shade is no longer Vanilla (1N2) but now called Oak (2C). I went online and struggled with their website because everytime I added the oak, it would add the shade silk, and even after deleting it, it would return. When I finally thought my shopping cart had only the shade I needed, I paid for my order. When I got my confirmation, it was in fact, Silk (0N), not Oak (2C). I called and after not being able to hear the first rep through her awful microphone, I got a rep that was immediately unkind and said there was nothing they could do but that I could wait until it arrives and then send it back and then get it exchanged. I know for a fact it has not shipped yet. The order was only just placed within a couple of hours and I didn’t ask for expedited shipping. I wasn’t asking to cancel the order. She didn’t offer any other solutions. After so many years of love for LM products, it ends with a snarky phone call. I’m sure Sephora will find me another product to use. Very disappointed.
Truly disappointed nothing like it used to be!
I have been a Laura Mercier Customer for years and years. I have always bought the almond coconut line and loved it.
However, I just spent a few hundred dollars On the sixth of the almond coconut products And have never been so disappointed in my life!
I still have some of the older stuff that’s got to be four years old and it is so much better than the new stuff I bought! Truly disappointed to see that now it’s alcohol based instead of oil-based and it cost more yet it doesn’t last on the body at all. I used to get so many compliments when I were the past products now it probably last an hour.. HORRIBLE! Truly disappointed, I will never buy it again. I don’t even want my money back. I’m just shocked. I’m sure they sold the company and now it’s worthless stuff. I do not recommend what so ever, As Victoria’s Secret smells better and last longer, and I’ve never been a Victoria’s Secret fan lol. Why would a company do that? Oh well, I’m never gonna think about them again. I’ll give away my products to somebody. I do not recommend at all anymore!

I really can’t understand why Laura Mercier has such bad reviews on here. Recently I had to contact them on behalf of my partner, as he had tried to order some foundation for me for Christmas but as he put the order in the with the colour I use, he didn’t realised it jumped out and it had put a different shade in. As he didn’t notice it was doing this ( he showed me after and it did keep doing it) he ended up, ordering 2 in wrong shade, he also should have got free 2 day shipping as they were doing a special offer, if you spent over £60 but he had been charged for it.He read on the website that once you placed an order, you cannot change it, so ended up telling me as he had spent a lot of money on the wrong thing and was extremely stressed. I rang them in the morning they were absolutely amazing, they said they would try to stop the order but wasn’t sure whether they will be able to because it had probably already been shipped.They said they would look into the issue of the colour changing on the website and apologised for the issues he had and said they would see if it was a fault their end with the website. They asked which shade I wanted and said they would be sending out 2 of the right colour with 1 to 2 day shipping so I would have them in time for Christmas and that they would also refund the cost of the shipping to his card, The very next day the order arrived. The customer service and delivery I received was fantastic, really outstanding they were absolutely lovely and understanding on the phone they couldn’t have done more to help! Their foundation is amazing! I normally have trouble with makeup staying on my face but this is truly the best foundation I’ve had and it lasts all day, I highly recommend the company!

Terrible
Have purchased the setting spray and the spray/pump is faulty and can not be used I contacted Laura Mercier directly to see if they could send a replacement pump, however because I did not purchase directly from the they will not send. Terrible customer service obviously do not worry about their reputation or future business/purchases, does not seem a big ask as this is not a cheap product. I ONLY WANTED A REPLACEMENT SPRAYER L!!!!

I asked for advice in using their product, and they refused to offer any advice. I was having issues with the packaging of the ultra blur because the powder keeps coming out of the sieve into the lid and then exploding when opening. I didnt ask for money, returns or anything, literally just product advice from the product THEY MAKE. Why would I ever use this unhelpful and mean company again?
