I really enjoyed my ESOL Entry 3 course. It has helped me improve my English, especially my speaking, reading, and writing skills. Before starting the course, I lacked confidence, but now I feel much more comfortable communicating in English.
A special thank you to my tutor, Jelena. She was always kind, patient, supportive, and encouraging. She explained everything clearly and made every lesson enjoyable and easy to understand. She created a welcoming classroom where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I am very grateful for everything I have learned during this course. It has given me more confidence and will help me with my future education and career. I would highly recommend this course, especially with a tutor like Jelena.Thank you for all your support and dedication!

I have had a wonderful experience in my AKG ESOL class. I have learned many new words and improved my speaking, reading, and writing skills.
My teacher Gabs is friendly, patient, and very supportive. She explains lessons clearly, makes learning enjoyable, and always motivates us to do our best. Her encouragement has helped me gain confidence in using English every day.
I would love to continue with her in the Entry Level 2 class because I enjoy her calm teaching style and learn so much from her. I have also made new friends, which has made the experience even more positive and rewarding.

I attended the Employability workshop 3 day course by AKG. Our Tutor Lisa was really good. Her preparation for the course for us, with the questions and slides and examples. All of them were very informative. Had mock interviews and she gave me lots of tips, which will be helpful for me, during my proper interviews. Thank you Lisa.

Marie, my tutor was always helpful and gave clear, practical advice throughout the Business Administration apprenticeship. They were supportive, approachable, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Their guidance helped build confidence and made the course feel manageable. I attended the Transferable Skills and Unique Selling Points course at AKG Stoke today, delivered by Sue. The session was extremely informative and well structured. Sue created a supportive, inclusive learning environment and explained everything clearly, making it easy to follow even if you’re new to this kind of training.I found the content really valuable, especially in helping me identify my strengths and how to present them confidently in job applications and interviews. I’ll definitely be using what I learned as I continue my job search.For anyone who might feel nervous about attending, I’d honestly say there’s no need to be. Sue is so welcoming and puts you at ease straight away. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and encouraging, and you’re never made to feel judged or out of place.Overall, a really positive experience that I would highly recommend.

Just had my helping parents back into work and interview skills course with Sue Leese at AKG and it was great. This course really boosted my confidence and knowledge about going back to work after being off for a while and taught me how to prepare for interviews, with the help of Sue, who was very helpful and Kind, she made sure everyone understood what’s being said and helped us with any questions.

I have recently attended a course with AKG focusing on interview prep. I came into the training unsure and apprehensive about interviews, since completing the training I really feel confident going forward with my job search. I have understood what is required during a job interview and all the different ways I can prepare for that. Thank you AKG and thank you Sue.

I’ve just completed my Housing and Management course with a Distinction. Sybil was an incredible tutor who supported me from start to finish. Her sessions were invaluable in the lead-up to my EPA, and her constant guidance made all the difference.

Sue was absolutely fantastic and incredibly supportive throughout the session. She created such a positive and encouraging environment, which really helped me build my confidence ahead of an important interview.
Her advice was not only clear and practical, but also very accurate, we went through potential interview questions together, and I was genuinely surprised that I was asked almost exactly the same questions in my interview. Because of this, I felt calm, prepared, and able to give strong answers.
Sue has a very warm and professional approach, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping people succeed. Her guidance made a real difference to me, and I’m very grateful for her support.
Thanks to her help, I’ve now been invited to a second interview, which I’m really excited about.
