Great legal service!
This was just a renewal for the next 5 years but I did gain access in my first 5 years to update both my will and my wife's and our power of attorney's with ease. If your situation deals with a real complicated international estate and complex marital and dependents scenario you probably should consult a lawyer however I found that Legal Wills was perfect for us, very affordable and "legal". Why throw your money away to a lawyer when you don't have to!

It was okay
It was okay. However a little miscommunication happened, as I messaged about having my two witnesses and they replied that they were going to update that info and my witnesses were welcome to join. Once I was in the meeting and my two witnesses trying to access, they couldn’t. They are very busy people, so I would have preferred to tell them way before that I didn’t need them. Also, I didn’t see the face of a second witness as he had the camera off. But that is just me who prefer to see the people in an online meeting. Everything else was great and very quick!

Watch There is no line for the date when your witnesses are signing. It could easily be overlooked!

Its advertised as free. I spent over an hour making sure every detail was perfect and then lost it all when it had to be purchased. Pure scam.

Hi Melanie, thank you for the feedback, but we have absolutely never advertised our service as free. Nor would we recommend every using a free service to prepare your Will. Our service costs $49.95 to prepare a Will, this is listed on our home page and prices page. It pays the salaries of a legal team, software development, marketing and customer service team who are available 24/7 to answer any questions. We will contact you directly to track down where you saw an ad for our service that said it was free, but we would not have created that ad. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Thank you for the review, but this has us a little puzzled. We do not bill, we cannot re-bill. We do not keep credit card details on file and can never automatically charge you. Maintaining an account with us is entirely optional and only necessary if you want to make ongoing updates and changes to your Will. But you do have two accounts; one for you and one for your spouse. And the two accounts are not currently linked so account extensions will be handled separately. We will be in touch directly from our customer service team to resolve it.
I have also looked through our support tickets and cannot find anything from you. I am not sure how we did not receive a ticket from you but I will investigate. Best wishes.

Creating the MyWill, MyPowerOfAttorney, MyLivingWill, and MyFuneral documents was very easy. When I had a glitch (totally my error), a LegalWills Canada support team member was kind, helpful, and professional. Within a few hours my issue was fixed - thank you Alexandra!
