Life4Rent was built for real people renting real items. The incentive campaign you mentioned was an early experiment to encourage adoption, but it attracted misuse that went against what the platform stands for.
Once we were alerted, we paused the campaign to investigate properly. After confirming abuse, we made the decision to cancel it completely. Anyone who had already received rewards kept them, but the program itself was ended to protect the wider community.
Since then, our focus has been on strengthening safeguards and keeping the platform safe and fair for genuine users.

Thanks for sharing your experience, we understand why this was frustrating,
we paused the early incentive campaign you are refering to shortly after launch due to confirmed misuse, including multiple user accounts being linked to the same payment details. This goes beyond listing quality and falls into financial misuse, which required us to act quickly and responsibly.
Once this was confirmed, we took all listings created during that period offline so each one could be reviewed individually. After completing the investigation, we made the decision to cancel the campaign entirely to protect the platform and its users.
Users who had already received rewards before the cancellation kept them, but no further payouts were issued once the program was cancelled. A platform-wide notice was sent explaining the decision and the reasons behind it.
Life4Rent is built around real listings and real transactions. While we understand the disappointment around the promotion ending, safeguarding the community had to come first.

Following your update, we appreciate you highlighting the importance of recognising genuine effort, and we want to be clear that contributors who acted in good faith were never the issue.

We would however like to clarify that the current redesigned campaign preserves the same reward value for genuine contributors. Genuine users affected by the reset can resubmit improved listings under the 5,000 Booking Campaign and earn the same value of $5 per approved listing, capped at $100 per user, issued as in-app credit usable across the platform. We no longer issue cash payouts, as we believe this was the primary cause of misuse; this change allows us to protect the community while maintaining fair value for legitimate users. Many users have since successfully done so. This approach allows us to honour genuine efforts while applying stronger safeguards to protect the community. This information was communicated to existing users before the campaign was made public.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience we totally understand why the situation was frustrating.
The promotion you are referring to was paused and then cancelled after we identified large scale misuse, including coordinated reward farming, spam listings, and fraudulent activity. Because of this, a platform wide email was sent to all users explaining the campaign update and the reasons behind it.
During that short period, we received an unusually high volume of payout requests at the same time, many of which required investigation. As a result, we weren’t able to respond to each request individually, Users who had already received rewards before the cancellation kept them, but no further payouts were issued once the program ended.
Life4Rent is built around genuine listings and real transactions, and protecting the community had to come first. We appreciate your efforts in sharing your feedback.
