Life Happens Outdoors has opened up a whole new world of adventure for me, from Nepal to Ecuador and places I never imagined I’d get to experience. They’re incredibly organized, with excellent team leaders and guides, and I completely trust them with all the planning and logistics. Highly recommended to friends, family, and anyone looking for their next adventure! I can’t wait for adventure #6 :)

I had an amazing experience with Life Happens Outdoors on our Mont Blanc expedition.

What really stood out was how well the entire journey was managed, especially when it came to preparation and safety. The LHO team did a great job with our training and acclimatization, making sure we were properly prepared for the challenge ahead while always keeping safety as the priority.

Unfortunately, the weather conditions meant that summiting Mont Blanc wasn’t possible during our window. While that was obviously disappointing after all the preparation, I really appreciated how the team handled it. They were transparent about the conditions, never compromised on safety, and quickly arranged a fantastic alternative climb that still gave us a challenging and memorable alpine experience.

In the mountains, you can prepare for almost everything except the weather, and I think the real test of an expedition company is how they respond when things don’t go according to plan. LHO handled that exceptionally well.

Great guides, great organization, a strong focus on safety, and an unforgettable experience. I’d happily climb with LHO again — and hopefully Mont Blanc and I will get another chance!

Going on all-inclusive trips is perfect for me as I don't have to think about anything. LHO does an amazing job at picking comfortable and unique hotels, great restaurants, and most importantly, amazing guides and staff. They are the perfect company if you're looking for that premium experience but not luxury. Comfortable and authentic!

LHO did a wonderful job with organizing and arranging for my Tour Du Mont Blanc hiking trip. During the months leading up to the trip, representatives were very responsive on WhatsApp, informative, and always answered my inquiries about the trip details in great clarity. During the trip, the team leader Gino and tour guide Laura were excellent and explained every detail day by day, offered encouragement and support, took photos, and arranged the route perfectly. Accommodation was excellent, and food was great throughout the trip.

Having previously travelled with Life Happens Outdoors, I had high expectations for the Mont Blanc climb, and they exceeded them once again.

From the moment the trip began, the professionalism and organisation were exceptional. What stood out most was the genuine care shown for everyone’s wellbeing. Safety was never treated as a box-ticking exercise; it was clearly the team’s highest priority throughout the expedition. At the same time, they paid close attention to each person’s welfare, ensuring everyone felt supported, encouraged and able to enjoy the experience.

The guides were outstanding. Highly knowledgeable, experienced and reassuring, they were also incredibly good-humoured, making even the toughest moments enjoyable. They were flexible when conditions required plans to adapt, always making sensible decisions while ensuring the group got the very best experience possible. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they were always attentive to individual needs.

A special mention also goes to my fellow climbers. We started as strangers but quickly became a fantastic team, sharing encouragement, plenty of laughs and some unforgettable moments together. Those friendships and shared experiences are every bit as memorable as reaching the summit.

Life Happens Outdoors creates an environment where you feel prepared, supported and inspired throughout the journey. The attention to detail before, during and after the expedition is second to none.

The whole experience is great from the airport back to the airport, i don't see honestly anything needs improvement.

The hotel was great and comfy with a nice view. Always finding alternatives or plan B because of the weather condition within the same level of the planned mountain is what keeps me coming back. And I appreciated letting me know in advance about the conditions of the Matterhorn which gave me time to prepare myself mentally for the plan B.

I had an amazing experience with LHO on the Dolomites Via Ferrata trip. Everything was very well organized, and the guides, Rami Rasamny and Babis, made me feel safe and supported throughout the journey.

As someone new to climbing and via ferrata, it was the perfect introduction to the mountains. One thing I learned is that physical preparation really makes a difference, it helps you enjoy the experience to the fullest.

It was my first adventure trip and my first time with LHO. We went to Kilimanjaro. Very friendly and professional staff, always ready to answer every question, well organized...turned the adventure into a wonderful memory!

The attention to detail and the personalization of the experience

One of the best hiking trip, ever! A special thank you to Rami as organizer and to Babis as our international guide! The group was awesome, and we glued immediately due to the common love for mountains and hiking. The attention given to all of us, the great organization to the smallest detail and the desire of LHO to make this trip memorable, all of it deserves 5 stars. I didn’t hesitate to book the 2nd trip with them, due to their professionalism.

From start to finish, I honestly cannot imagine how my trip could have gone better. As a first-timer at serious altitude, albeit with a fair bit of other experience, I was after someone to provide top quality knowledge and expertise on all aspects of a high mountain climbing. When choosing, I looked at a number of operators and LHO came out top based on their quick and well-informed responses, their flexibility, their friendliness, their professional approach to preparation and planning and, most importantly, their deep understanding of acclimatisation. Getting acclimatised properly and naturally - no chemicals or pills - was fundamental to me not only making it to the top and back down in great shape, but also enjoying every single moment while getting there.
Even when all the flights to Nepal were being cancelled as a result of the America/Iran war, LHO were amazingly helpful, suggesting alternatives and giving me huge flexibility, all in good time to be able to make changes to my travel plans.
Once there, the guys on the ground were very good, professional and quietly just got things done - something that cannot be taken for granted in Kathmandu or when getting to Lukla. Their care for their clients is absolutely top level. All organisation was exemplary and I felt completely ready and correctly kitted out before leaving the lovely surroundings of the Kathmandu Guest House.
The weather threw spanners in the works for the flight to Lukla but again, the experience and connections that the team have meant they were all over it, anticipating all the alternatives and ensuring the delay was absolutely minimal and the hassle for me was zero.
As for the guys who I was with for the next 3 weeks, led by Rami, they were exceptional. If I go again a hundred times I would want the same people with me. LHO have a culture and ethical element that means whoever works with them will fit in and be part of a very happy and close-knitted team. It certainly was the case for my trip, and noticeable at all stages, whether in the huts or on the trail, we were a tight unit, working seamlessly together and having an absolutely fantastic time doing it. It was a privilege and so enjoyable to spend time with our three porters. As for our Sherpa guide Lakpa, words cannot do him justice. Simply a legend in his own lifetime. No wonder it seemed that everyone in Nepal knew him and wanted to be his friend. How he combines humbleness and greatness is unparalleled. A genuine honour to have spent that time together with him.
Even if we had not made it to the top and even if Rami and I had not been able to ski down, this would have been an extraordinarily special trip for me. But we did, and the memories of the summit and the skiing down have not dulled one bit in the intervening 10 weeks. Although I can still hardly believe it was so good, so much better even than my most extravagant hopes.
The whole thing was magical.
Needless to say I wholeheartedly recommend LHO. The reasons for me are their thorough professionalism and reliability, and their genuine care for the client, underpinned by Rami's knack of building a team of high calibre, good people. Thank you LHO.

I joined LHO a few years ago to Bhutan with my sister. The group was really pleasant, the experienced varied so that no matter what your interests are there is something you are sure to enjoy. The LHO team was extremely accommodating and Ramy who was the LHO lead for that trip was an absolute joy to be around, he really helped us elevate the trip in many ways: Pushing us physically but respecting our limits, engaging in interesting thoughts during quite times, and making sure we were up and on trail!

I highly recommend their trips, and if you can go, you should go!
