Here at Lifetime, we’re all fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors. We’re from various backgrounds but we’ve all got one thing in common, which is not only to get you to pass your driving test but to get you driving safe for your life. We cover Bolton and due to exceptionally high pass rates and recommendations we have now expanded into Bury and Ramsbottom and offer discounts for block bookings for those who wish to do so. We have male AND female instructors so you will definitely find an instructor with us who will help you relax, have fun and enjoy your experience of learning to drive – this instructor will stay with you until you pass your test and all our instructors are fully DBS checked. As a driving school, we have very impressive first time pass rates and plenty of experience in driving tests as our very own Lynne Fitzharris (owner of Lifetime and fully qualified ORDIT registered DVSA approved driving instructor) worked for the DVSA for 27 years as an Assistant Chief Driving Examiner in which part of her role was to actually conduct driving tests. Interesting fact…Lynne has conducted well over 30,000 driving tests during her time with the DVSA, most of these being carried out at Bolton Driving Test Centre, so to quote Lynne “there ain’t much about driving tests and how to pass that I don’t know”!!! Lynne’s extensive knowledge has been passed on to all our instructors here at Lifetime as we are all internally trained by the oracle herself!!!…so you can be assured that the training you receive is unique, extremely accurate, modern and up to date with the new driving test requirements. driving experience
had my test at bury test centre this morning and passed first time, many thanks to Roger as he is an amazing instructor always was calm and patient, he taught a very understandable way of learning most things and made it clear i couldn’t ask for a better driving instructor

Ruth from lifetime has been such a brilliant instructor!!! She has made such an effort to make every lesson enjoyable and fully prepare me for any eventuality for my test - making sure to give me encouragement and comfort whenever she can. This resulted in me passing first time with only 2 faults! If you’re learning to drive, definitely use lifetime!

Roger is an amazing driving instructor…
Roger is an amazing driving instructor and overall an amazing person, I can’t recommend him enough. I started lessons with him as someone who had very little confidence in myself to pass, he completely changed that with how encouraging and calm he has been. If it wasn’t for him I don’t think I would have passed and definitely not first time. I am going to miss our lessons and can’t thank him enough for his support and patience.

Roger is an amazing instructor he makes you feel comfortable and safe in the car at all times and never raises his voice. He is always so chatty and loves a sing. i passed first time and couldn’t recommend him enough.

I had the best experience, learning to drive with Roger. We would always have a laugh and I always looked forward to my lessons each week. He helped build my confidence more and more and I couldn’t be happier to have passed my test first time. 😁

Amazing Instructor
Roger is a really good instructor, made sure he went through everything that I was not sure on. He is a good laugh during all the lessons, and is just a great person in general.

Driving
Rog is alright for a city fan at least. Enjoyed lessons as I was kept entertained by conversations in the vehicle easy to talk to and easy to learn things from him.

Excellent instructor
I learnt with Roger during my time with Lifetime and I have recommended him to everyone I know who is considering starting their driving lessons. It took me a bit longer than most to get the hang of driving but Roger was patient and professional the entire time. He took his time explaining the different aspects of driving I struggled with and made me feel confident and safe throughout my lessons. I always looked forward to my driving lessons and I couldn’t reccomend Roger enough he was a truly excellent instructor!

The best driving instructor I could have hoped for
Roger has been my driving instructor for just over a year and I had a first time pass today with zero faults. He has consistently made me feel comfortable and more confident in my abilities by providing constructive criticism and never failing to make me laugh. I could not have passed today without his unconditional support and I cannot recommend him enough as a driving instructor.

first time pass with Ruth
passed first time with Ruth, she made me feel so comfortable driving and corrected any mistakes as soon as i made them. her way of teaching is very easy to understand and she is super supportive.
