I some times offer 5 star for good service. Seriously Northern Gym are high end in terms of service. I ordered 150kg set bumper plates, dractional change set and a 60kg tri grip set. Wow absolutely great. I have just placed an order for the barbell standband 3x20kg tri grip plates.
Customer service answer questions quickly and delivery time has been great too!
There are 3 companies i would recommend and Northern are at the top of the list. Keep up the great work 👍

I bought two sets of hex dumbbells and the experience from beginning to end was excellent, The price was the best I could find, I asked a question about delivery which Lucy answered almost immediately and the delivery was also excellent. They use DPD for heavier items and in my opinion they are one of the best - good communication, easy to change delivery instructions and a good app.

This isn't the first time I've bought from Northern and that was a really good experience as well so I felt like I owed them a review this time.

Could not rate these guys high enough!! Had some dumbbells and kettlebells from them now, and both really good quality. Delivery is also incredibly prompt!! Ordered some new stuff from them on boxing day and it was here by the 29th, ready to step up training in January!

I'd 100% recommend these guys!! Just wish they had even more products on their website so I could get everything from them haha

Recently purchased a kettlebell. After only using 4-5 times the paint started blistering and peeling off the handle.

I contacted Northern to be told that as it had been 31 days since purchasing, they couldn’t offer an exchange or refund. Only offered a 20% refund.

Having provided a faulty product I am really disappointed in this response. I have chased them subsequently to be ignored and have not received any response to my emails.

Shame as the pricing was attractive but perhaps this is why.

Ordered bumper plates on the 26th Nov (great price). They didnt arrive until the 10th Dec. Staff at northern were great & were fast at responding to my communication. When i emailed they said item was with yodel. Yodel at the time said item was still with seller.
Didnt know who to beleive.
UPDATE: Turns out Yodel are the ones at fault... Driver also delivered to the wrong address... luckily I managed to find it & the home owner was honest. Will 100% buy from Northern again as long as they don't use Yodel.

Fantastic gear. Purchased on 2 separate occasions now always late Sunday night and my order has been delivered by the Tuesday lunchtime both times. Will constantly use this company. Only small negative is wish there was some way of knowing when they will get stock in as their is a few dumbells and racks that have been out of stock for a while now and I don't really want to buy from another company

Good value for the weights I purchased. Fairly quick delivery given it was standard delivery I had opted for. Some light scratching on the weight plates. But I'm sure they will be pretty marked up as I use them anyway. Couple of extra pieces I will be back for.

Good value product and good customer service - bought some bumper plates but had an issue with online payment - this was dealt with promptly by the customer service team, which I appreciated.

Bought a range of dumbbells and a stand from here and couldn't have went better. Price was great, was kept well informed and delivery was very quick. Can't fault them.

So like others I was a little skeptical about using lifts and gravy. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Ordered on Tuesday, and receive DPD tracking the same day, sent a quick email as the tracking said a different company but turns out this is just what DPD had the warehouse down as. Received a reply the same day that put my mind at ease. Plates have just been delivered today and can honestly say I am really pleased. Good quality plates packed well with no damage. I bought the 60kg bumper set with a pair of cast iron 2.5kg plates. All perfect. Would 100% use again.

Avoid. Paid for fast shipping which didn't happen under the promised window. Weights were not 100% accurate weight. Contacted company 5+ times requesting return- they have no phone number. Finally got a response and they want me to pay for shipping for a faulty product. Stay away - quality is poor and no customer service at all.

Such a great price and really fast shipping - I got my weights in less than 2 days! Definitely will shop here again!

The company may be fine but the exercise roll I ordered stated foam but I'm sure it's made out of polystyrene.Its rock hard and kills my back when doing squats against a wall.
They did offer a refund but I'd have to pay postage and as it only cost £6 49 + £4 99postage it's hardly worth posting back.
Very disappointed with the product
Nothing at all like the ones they have at physio.

New plates arrived in under 24 hours! First class service! All the kit I’ve ordered has been excellent quality, no need to go anywhere else- highly recommended.

I bought their olympic sized cast iron plate set. I think the most affordable in the UK. Some unremarkable chips and scuffs to some of the plates but that doesn't bother me. Plates were weighed and all were mainly accurate with none under their advertised weight.

Great service, ordered a 16KG cast iron kettlebell, cheapest price I could find, quality is amazing and delivery was super quick. Will definitely be ordering from here again
