Really friendly service and quick delivery, we placed the order at 11am and had the wine by 4pm the same day.
Only problem was me and my wife drank the wine far to quickly! We will definitely be ordering some more.

Iconic seal on the bottle is missing!!
Customer care response is excellent before purchase but unfortunately I received an item that was not as advertised.
The iconic seal on the bottle was missing, which lead me to think it might not be genuine.
I called to enquire why, I was given a silly excuse that they might have fallen in transport but the inside will still taste the same.
No replacement was offered.

Hello there,
We are ever so shocked and disappointed to hear that you aren't happy with us, especially considering that when you raised the issue with us in our live chat function, you thanked us for our explanation. If you weren't happy with the explanation, it would have been easier to let us know then, rather than leave a negative review that can have repercussions on our small business.
The wax 'seal' is a button on the the bottle. It is not a seal, it is a bit of wax that is stuck on the front of the bottle. As I had explained to you, it is possible that it could have fallen off in transit, or when it was being bottled they might have not stuck it on properly. Had this been a seal that could have let air in and taint the product then of course we would have issued you a refund straight away.
When we told you the inside will still taste the same, it wasn't as much of an excuse, more of an assurance. I also went on to say that we've been using the same importer for Lou Flouret for several years and never had a problem.
The reason why we didn't offer to replace the bottle is because that was our last bottle in stock, which I had made you aware of before you made your purchase. We can't be sure as to when we are getting more in, so I literally didn't have another bottle to replace it with.
I did however end our discussion with these words "sorry if this has disappointed you. Let me know if there's anything else I can do. If you choose to order from us again, I will be sure to send a bottle with the badge intact". This gave you another opportunity to respond. Had you wanted to send it back and request a refund, we would have done that for you.
I sincerely hope you enjoy the Lou Flouret, and this incident hasn't tainted the taste for you. Thank you for your custom.

Hi Peter, thanks for your great review and thanks for the feedback on delivery.
We offer free delivery through DHL on orders over £100 . We'd love to be able to reduce this threshold, but anything under eats too much into our margin. We don't make anything on the delivery charge, it is simply a cost that we incur from DHL, and unfortunately have to pass on.
