Really horrible experience today.
We booked little monsters for my 4 years old birthday.
I bought a cake with me and candles. I asked a member of staff if we could cut the cake up for the boys to take home as we understood you could not eat it on site and also appreciated the candles might not be allowed due to fire alarms etc. the member of staff said no candles were allowed but I could cut up the cake to put it in the bags.
As we gathered the boys around a member of staff who said he was the manager said you can't have that cake here. I explained we had asked and we're not eating it. He said put it away you can't even have it out. By the way the table next to us had their own food which they had eaten all over the table. I said we did ask and he replied well they shouldn't have. That's not our fault. I would have expected at the very least to put the cake in their bags but he said no put it away in a really aggressive Manor. My little boy was crying his eyes out. I appreciate allergies and reasons but you should train your staff properly so they all know what to say to avoid this embarrassing and disgusting thing happening to someone else.
Also FYI little monsters. If you want to act properly then you should really look into your H&S
I witnessed several times parents carrying hot drinks from the counter their tables whilst children were running everywhere. One drink nearly went all over a little girl who ran straight into someone.
Please train your staff to be respectful know your own rules to avoid ruining a 5 years olds birthday. Sorry update I've had a call from the owner Emma James who I can confirm is just as rude. Apparently I made the whole thing up to impress my 5 year old son with a colin the caterpillar cake. She has checked with her staff and I was told couldn't have the cake but I did it anyway to impress my friends. Also the manager has a very serious allergy to nuts even though it doesn't state anywhere that they are a nut free area. Including several of the items they sell that may contain nuts. Apparently my son might have blown out the candles whilst eating nuts and spitting the nuts on the cake that another child then might have eaten. Please just be careful they are very rude and aggressive on their responses I have never experienced treatment like this. Also they state your children are not allowed to run in the soft play area....................

Had a lovely afternoon @ softplay staff very friendly the place was super clean in every area . Also Betsy enjoyed herself immensely !

Would highly recommend, we hired a bouncy castle and LED number, lovely company, on time and always in communication! Will definitely be using again, thank you!

Clean and tidy. Staff friendly. Food is average. Soggy chips. Nachos with only a hint of cheese. Decaf Americano is instant coffee — for £3 no less…! Come here for the kids to play, but eat before you come.
