This is a scam.
I did not apply for a loan yet an email arrived in my inbox saying my application was almost complete. I have my credit protected by a referencing agency so checked there. Nothing was on my account.
I had a security specialist check out the email (which looked completely genuine) and they confirmed the scam

Their website announces their company as a mortgage broker, with a page dedicated to 'overseas' (meaning non-UK) properties. In spite of that, they would not consider a property in Japan, as it is overseas.
Then, there is an invitation for a survey, for a GBP 5 reward. Needless to write, this is another mirage.
I dread to think what if I had dealt with such a company, and where nasty surprises, misrepresentations and lies would have come and in what form. Try them at your own peril if you dare.

Nice pleasent call center staff
4 stars based on the politeness and helpful person I received a call from. Although the help I was looking for wasn't something they were able to provide but that's not their fault. I was looking for an oversea mortgage and it's not what they do.
