Localmovers.com is a moving broker posing as a moving marketplace. This scam has been reported as false advertising. They have started a ton of new moving companies and use ai for all of these - you will see in the DOT website they have 1 truck... This is private equity hard at work and frankly a big fat scam

I recently used LocalMovers.com for a move from NYC to San Francisco, and overall it was an excellent experience. A cross-country move like this can be overwhelming, but everything was handled with a high level of organization and care from start to finish.

They coordinated every step of the process—packing, transport, storage, and final delivery—and made the entire move feel smooth and well-managed. Communication was clear throughout, and everything arrived on schedule from NYC to my new home in San Francisco.

There was one unfortunate incident where a chair was damaged during the long haul. With a move of this distance, things like that can occasionally happen, and technically it wasn’t even LocalMovers.com’s responsibility since they were coordinating the move rather than physically handling every step. That said, what really stood out was how they handled it—they still stepped up and covered the cost of repairing the chair without hesitation.

That level of accountability and customer care is rare. Even when something falls outside their direct responsibility, they stand behind the experience they deliver. Because of that—and how seamless everything else was—I’d still rate this a clear 5-star experience and would absolutely recommend them.

The group that came out were great. It was a group that was lead by Luis. They were all very professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. I would recommend them over and over to anyone. Thank you Trustpiñot for recommending a great company with quality employees.

Had a great experience working with LocalMovers.com, especially with Mo. He was very helpful and got me a dozen quotes in just a couple of hours to help me move some of my stuff out of a storage facility. I’d recommend getting your quotes through this company because it’s so much faster than googling and all the options you get are licensed, verified movers so you don’t have to worry about getting scammed.
