Terrible company please avoid. I wanted to change my will, and at first they were very professional, they asked for £47 up front which I paid followed by a pre arranged phone call, all seemed very professional and straight forward. During the phone call with my wife with me she also decided to complete a new Will at a later date. During the conversation we were told about each completing a power of attorney to safe guard our future financial and medical condition should we become incapacitated. We both agreed to the cost of £399 each. My will came, there were a few spelling mistakes but that was rectified and my completed will sent. Soon after my wife’s Will arrived, but it was completely the wrong Will with a man’s name on it. My wife rang the company to state what had happened they apologised and told her to destroy the Will and they would send the right one. They told her that her Will had not been sent to another person due to the mix up. But this is a clear breach of data protection, and I don’t believe that her Will had not been sent out to another person. The problem then occurred with the LPA documents. Duly sent with instructions to get them signed. On a separate document we were told that the four documents attached would need the sum of over £90 for each document when sent to be verified by the court. We complained and told them this additional cost was not mentioned during the telephone call. They assured us it was and that they would look back on the telephone call that they say had been recorded to confirm this. A few emails were sent between the company and my wife as we raised a stage one complaint concerning miss information given by the company. We have now been told today that they cannot help or give us our money back as the 14 day cooling off period had been and gone. Yet they have refused to supply proof of the telephone conversation which they say we were told about and the additional cost that we would later incur. I now realise from other complaints sent on trust pilot that other people have complained about the hard sell on the LPA. I have now contacted my credit card company to block my payment, and get my money back due to lack of transparency. Sadly I can’t put zero stars on trust pilot.

I would definitely not recommend this company. I was sent another person's will and presume they were sent mine. The will writer suggested completeing a Power of Attorney which I agreed to at the cost of £399. When I received the documents enclosed was a leaflet saying there was a charge of £92 per document. As I completed both Heath and Finacial this was a further cost of £184. I called them as I presumed this was included in their fee but it was not. I feel misled and have paid £100 to store my will but do not trust them to do this now especially after being sent someone else's will.

All fine, except the instructions which came with the Will were not exactly clear so l had to give Secure Legacy a telephone call to confirm what to do.

As I only had a basic will it was fairly straightforward. However I did not appreciate the condescending manner of the person trying to convince me that I was unable to undertake POA without their assistance. There was a fair bit of hard sell. Had I not have been aware of what they were discussing I would have found myself £000s out of pocket.
No need to have them as an executor or to have them execute POA. All a money making exercise. The will itself was fine eventually.

I was not "advised". I was actually laughed at and made to feel a fool for wanting to sort my POA myself.

The initial person i spoke with was really helpful and gave some useful advice. The will it self is fine but I felt there was pressure selling for add ons to the will and also to do a lasting power of attorney. Whist I appreciate the benefit of this, it felt like she would not conclude the details for the will until I had watched another video re PoA. It was then like double glazing sales in that they could do me a half price offer. When I said I would need to think about it, I felt her attitude changed towards me. I was not sent the draft copy of the will, despite having paid the full fee up front, until she had rung me back re the PoA. When I asked further questions re the cost, there was hidden costs she had failed to mention. I am pleased with the will, especially for the cost, but would not recommend them to anyone who may be easily pressured to buy unnecessary add ons.

I only made a tentative enquiry and now I’m getting bombarded with calls many times a day. Tried to block but they use many different numbers to try to get through. Has put me off considering using them.
After requesting deletion of my contact details they responded as follows..."Hi Gary,

Clearly trying to influence/bribe me to remove the review! Draw your own conclusions.

Great company to work with no sales pressure and everything is done with no fuss all worded exactly as I wished

I was somewhat dubious about making a Will over the phone, but no worries i was able to give our wishes to a professional person who has dealt with the matter.
The whole process has been quite quick and i now await the final document.

Really good customer service, helpful and good communication

A lady responded by telephone the day after my internet enquiry. Everything relating to the writing of my will was explained to me carefully and exactly. At that stage I felt safe and assured and arranged a phone call for a person to take my instructions. The lady who called was kind and patient. The draft will was emailed the next day, approved by me and my completed will was mailed to me for signing.
The whole experience was smooth and precise and I feel I made all the right decisions. I thank Secure Legacy for a timely and stress free experience.

They really try and get you to pay more for unnecessary extras. The will they provide is apparently useless according to reviews here and they advertise a will for £19.99 on their website but they charged me £47. I didn't receive my will after 10 days so far. Disappointed.

Quick and easy process

Had the appointment to do my wife and my will. But I did feel they seemed more interested in trying to sell you power of attorney more so!
