Complete incompetence from the head practitioner of the hackney smile dentists.

Went in for a simple veneer to be stuck back in.

Then had to go back for the verneer next to the original one that feel out had now cracked a week later - both costing £60 each - of course not told the price upfront.

Two weeks later both had feel out again and the first one that was put back in had now broken due to it falling out when eating.

Had to wait 2 month to see the dentist again.

Was told it was nothing to do with him as he did not do them in the first place - something he didn't mention when he was putting them back in and taking my £120 in total.

After saying I felt it was down to him for the first one that broke due to it falling out when eating and not being stuck back in properly, he just said they have good adhesive and it was down to my verneer.

He then tried to charge me £1500 for two new veneers and when I said I was not happy with the price as I had already come in for a simple £60 procedure and had paid £120 in total for both veneers that had feel out again and now it was going to cost me £1500, he simply said he was not going to do anymore work as we disagree - this was after I said that I would have it done at the price he had quoted as I had no choice, but he still refused to do the works.

So now I have to find a new dentist to sort out my veneers after waiting two months to see the dentist that did the original work at this practice and my teeth still look terrible due to the work not being done.

So if you want to go here and have no guarantee and pay for work that doesn't work and refuse to help you just cos you disagree then this is the place - I wish you good luck as you will all need it.

Only got simple treatments but I thought it was good and good value for money.

Extremely happy with my treatment and results from the friendly, reassuring and professional team! Dr. Meera Vekaria is by far the best dentist I have ever been to!

This was the 2nd time I have been to see Dr Yiannis Valilas, he is so reassuring and made me feel comfortable, as did the Geordie assistant, didn't get his name! Super friendly and calming. Would definitely recommend to friends.

I had Orthodontist treatment (Ceramic Braces: Upper & Lower) at this clinic from 2016 to 2017.

I did not have complicated treatment, only 2 upper teeth needed allighnment. The full private treatment cost me a fortune approx £ 4,450 (excluding extras).

During the treatment, whenever I raised concerns about allighnment or bite, I was told it will be okay . They showed their real character after the treatment ended & the full amount was paid. At that time I was wearing removable retainers as advised for a couple of months & started to realise that there were serious issues & after all it's not okay.

The main issues:

1: Incorrect Upper teeth alignment (not centered)
2: Uneven bite: Premolar & Molar teeth (Left: Upper & lower)

I went to my local dentist for a second opinion. I didn't explain any issues & wanted to know their opinion. By only looking at my retainers (shown in the images) & inspecting my teeth, she told me exactly what was wrong with the treatment. She was spot on, I was exactly noticing the same problems.

Then I contacted this clinic & explained the issues. They booked me an appointment with the Orthodontist to review in December 2017. His response was shockingly unprofessional, he was not even ready to accept that there was any issue at all. I was truly shocked & disgusted to see the sudden change in their attitude.

During the treatment period, I had always given this Clinic positive feedback for all their requested online reviews. Now I just simply regret it.

Even in Uk, you are at their mercy, if they refuse to accept their negligence & rectify their treatment mistake - which they would most likely do. Only other option, if you have enough money, is to take matters legal. I already had spent a lot on the treatment, I can't go any further. Now I just regret my decision for chosing this Clinic every day. As, I can't do anything else, finally decided to share my experience, so it may help others.

I paid a premium price & was expecting a quality treatment. The travel time for each appointment was 2 hours to this clinic in the City Of London. I wish I had read negative reviews, I would never have chosen this Clinic.

Being in a City or good area does not mean the Clinic is of high standard. It's a rip-off, just shop around & look for Orthodontist treatment in your local area or elsewhere. Trust me you may end-up unhappy customer for life.

As for Orthodontist treatment, it is long & painful, you may get it done once in a lifetime. So good luck to you.

I have been a patient in this practice for more then 2 years. Over the weekend I lost rather large filling and call the practice first thing in the morning onMonday. I know how busy they are and didn't expect to fit me in for an appointment so soon. The reception team which is always very polite and efficient did their best to fit me in for an appointment with in a couple of days! Thank you ladies!
I saw Dr Nick Byfield. I couldn't thank him enough for the professionalism and thorough work he did. He really took his time to give me the best treatment possible. I am a bit nervous patient and his assistant Simona really helped me to get over my anxiety by being supportive and calm.
I would highly recommend this practice!

Dont waste your money and time. Seriously.
I paid in total about £8000 - £10000 for my treatment that was suppose to take 15 months. I had braces put of for £4900 and and implant which cost me £3000 after my braces. I have had teeth whitening and hygiene after too.

DO NOT waste your money. My teeth are still not straight. My braces were taken off within 8 months. I feel like my treatment was rushed. I was suppose to be paying £200 a month for 15 months. But because my treatment was rushed i was forced to pay around £450 a month. I insisted that my teeth were NOT ready and the orthodontist told me they were. I have about 3 teeth on top that are not straight. My top teeth are NOT even in line with my bottom teeth. A gap was created with my braces so i can have an implant done. MY IMPLANT IS NOT EVEN THE RIGHT SHAPE. The crown does not match the rest of my tooth. Oh when it comes to the implant
I was told i have to wait until my for 3 weeks until gums healed after the implant was fitted. Again this treatment was rushed. A perm crown was fitted the next day. And i was forced to pay £3000 just like that. After all my treatment i have said i was not happy with the outcome of my teeth. They are clearly not in the right shape and not even straight. The dentist turns around and says to me. "Oh we never realised it was like that" REALLY? you are a dentist and you cant see the problem but i can?

Until now nothing has been done to make me feel happy and satisfied. Ive literally been robbed for my money. My teeth look horrible.

I had a Complete Set of Fixed Teeth at London city smiles early 2018 totalling 12 implants (6 upper and 6 lower).
I found Dr Vekaria and his team to be very professional and informative and although I didn't find them to be the cheapest at the time with research they were very competitive I definitely made the right choice. (DO NOT GO FOR THE CHEAPEST FOR THIS WORK)
Dr. Vekaria has a wealth of experience in this field and you get the impression that you are in good hands with him.
He has a great aftercare ethic where you feel happy to call him with any concerns you may have after the procedure, one and a half years later i'm still getting compliments about my teeth but more than just looking great they function great, I'm now able to eat anything without any issues.
I Can not recommend this practice nor this doctor enough, before you go anywhere else make an appointment to see Dr Vekaria at London City smiles.

I always have a great treatment here, no matter which dentist I see.

Had 3 areas of botox, forehead,crows feet,frown line, I wasn’t completely happy with the results, had more Botox that was administered around the crows feet area, I still have a slight frownline, but I’m more disappointed with the fact my eyelids have dropped lower than normal and a couple of people have commented, and said I look tired. Not something you want to hear

Receptionists can be quite rude and blunt but apart from that very good.
