This is a top quality agency headed by Ripon Mahmood who has astonishing property knowledge. Great team and highly recommend using them.

Moving City were quite good at gaining us entry to our new accommodation; however, when we arrived there were issues with respect to the state of the property despite a lot of work carried out by Moving City to make it right.
Maintenance and inspection appointments were mixed; some happened and some didn't. When renewal came up I didn't feel as if our interests were represented - it was a take it or leave it situation.
I would like to mention Evgeniia however who was instrumental in getting our deposit returned in a timely fashion despite the lack of interest from the landlord.

I rarely leave review, but wanted to appreciate the Moving City team (Evgeniia, Rimi, Silvia, Rhys and everyone!) throughout the whole process from the beginning till the end.

1. Before making contract: they were the only company who double-checked with the landloard and building management about pet allowance before signing the contract. During my flat search, I encountered some agencies giving pressure to sign the contract immediatly (threatning that it will be go so soon). I asked to give me written consent that I can have my dog. One agency said they are 10000% sure that it allows dog, and when my relocation agent jumped in and asked them, the building turned out to be not pet-friendly. The Movingcity team double-checked with the landloard and building managemnt, making it very clear before signing the contract. Btw, Rhys is found a really good flat for me! Thanks Rhys!!

2) during my stay: there were sometimes some small issues (only hot water from the shower, something like that). EVERYTIME they almost immediatly repied and sent a person to fix it really quickly.

3) leaving: I needed to leave the flat earlier than my contract termination and they let me to do so after discussing with the landloard (although the early termination fee was quite expensive..almost one month of rent but I cannot blaim as I am the one who breack the contract). Bills and everything went smoothly. I'm waiting for deposit release as I left the house one nad a half month before and waiting for the energy bills. They but reached out first and followed-up to check if bills are now all sorted out so that my deposit can be released.

I feel very lucky to meet them when I first came to the UK, and wish all the best to the whole professional team :)

We've been with Moving City for over 10 years and they have done a brilliant job of looking after us. From finding us reliable tenants to advising us on statutory requirements to stepping in when something needed sorting out urgently, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have been with Moving City as a landlord since 2017. At first, they were decent. They did what one would expect a letting agent does - collect rent, pay your bills, etc. Things started to get worse whenever there is a turnover. The team members don't talk to each other and the letting team was particularly slow. Communication is inconsistent and broken.

Then came the nightmare - when one of my tenants caused damage to my place, this guy named ATIF (the prop mgmt team), who has absolutely no bloody clue how to manage the situation. He first pushed you as the landlord to not go after the tenant (I later realized he had NO knowledge on how and couldn't care less to help facilitate). Then when one contractor got busy with another job, he could find no one else in the market to do a decent job to fix the damage?!?! He only knew how to push the landlord to get rid of EVERYTHING in my apartment when there was an insect issue?! I had to push back and save some hard furniture but he still threw away ALL the other soft furniture plus all kitchen utensils - which I found out from my new agent that it was completely unnecessary!!

Because of their malpractice, my apartment was left un-rentable for over 6 months. I lost over 20K pounds in lost rent and furniture replacement cost. What is even worse? The partners and mgmt team wouldn't be bothered by their own incompetencies and checked in with the landlord. They are really running a poor and unethical business practice and as a landlord, I thought you should be well aware their deep-rooted shortcomings and lack of heart when it comes to protecting your hard-earned money and assets. If you decided to hire them, only expect they can collect rent and pay your bills but nothing else. Luckily I was able to find another agent via FB group recommendation and they have been so awesome (will follow with another positive review about them).

We have been renting a one-bedroom flat in Stratford (E15) for the past 12 months through Moving City and our experience has been extremely positive. The flat, only 2-3 years old, was in pristine condition upon our move-in.

We encountered a minor issue with the chairs in the living room, and promptly, Moving City dispatched a maintenance team to investigate. It was identified as a factory defect, and to our delight, brand new chairs were provided within a week!

Communication has been crystal clear, and the team has been fantastic in dealing with all aspects of the tenancy. Returning the deposit was a seamless process, with no hassles or delays; we received it within 2.5 weeks.

Our heartfelt thanks to Evgenia, Billy, Rhys, and Samaha for their exemplary service. We highly recommend Moving City for their professionalism and commitment to tenant satisfaction.

4 months ago, there was a leak detected in the ensuite bathroom of our 2 bed 2 bath flat. Effectively, we have had to use this property as a 2 bed 1 bath since the past 4 months, because for the first 1.5 contractors were trying to figure out where the leak was coming from and we were strictly told to not use that bathroom. For the rest of the 2.5 months, work began extremely slowly, and with the amount of dust and disruption the bedroom also soon because unusable. All this while, we were offered a negligable discount of less than 1% of our rent.

However, what started off as an excruciatingly uncomfortable and painful experience with Moving City has recently improved with the support of the property manager, Atif Aslam who has been extremely helpful to us. He has been patient in explaining to us that the work took longer due to external contractors. After months of requesting Moving City to help us facilitate the ongoing work and obtain a suitable compensation for this disruption, Atif has helped accelerate matters further. Whilst this is still a work in progress (an appropriate compensation is not guaranteed as of now and work on the bathroom is still ongoing), and I will be updating this review based on the final outcome, I am grateful that an attempt has been made to help us - this is what we have been asking for since the first month of this issue, and we are atleast feeling heard now.

I would advice anyone considering going through Moving City to do so, but with caution, as errors were made whilst handing over the lease as well. In the unfortunate situation of major maintenance issues like we faced, I have come to realise that alot of probing was required to get where we are today. The Moving City Manager has not been responsive or helpful at all, however the maintenance team & the property manager Atif have helped us tremendously and have been responsive to emails and calls.

It’s a very happy letting experience, they provided excellent services from Check-in to check-out.

They cancelled my viewing one hour in advance via email, given I had booked by phone. I didn’t see the email and only found out when I was already there and called them… Wasted my time plus travel costs because of poor communication, and this was their sales team!

The best letting agent I have ever came across, the entire process was hassle free and straight forward. They work with reference company that completed reference within 2 days and no nonsense documents requested. You really feel that they value tenant's time and you being treated as a customer. Highly recommended to other tenants!

I moved to UK and found an apartment under their management. Communication was great, a viewing was scheduled swiftly. Rhys and Rimi answered all questions I had and helped me through the whole renting process. I really have nothing to complain about, they supported me with all matters.
I can only recommend anyone to talk to them, even with questions not directly in relation to what "they are there for", they have been very helpful.

Absolutely the worst property managers to have. I had a one year tenancy with them and at the end they wanted to keep my deposit for a further 21 days although nothing was wrong with anything in the property from the check out report.

Then all they keep saying is it takes 21 days and it is just how long it takes. (To click a refund button)
