Effective Communication Course with Lola Rutherford
I was very happy to have Lola Rutherford as my couch in the the Effective Communication Course. I took the the ten-days course and it was informative, fun, and very helpful.
I took the course to prepare for a high-stakes work-related presentation. The whole course was tailored to prepare myself for this presentation. We worked together on how to communicate the message of my talk effectively. We worked on my slides, intonation, pauses, and overall, we practice a lot.
I can only recommend the experience!

The best thing I spent money on this year!
This was the best thing I spent money on this year! My coach Natasha was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. The difference this course has made is incredible! I use everything I learnt from Natasha on a daily basis and I've recieved comments at work about how much my public speaking has improved. So much so that even my colleagues want to sign up!

Valuable Coaching with Kate, Though Pricey for the Experience
Kate was my coach. She was kind, compassionate, supportive, and focused mainly on my day-to-day challenges. She was very attentive through all of my sessions and provided a set of exercises that significantly enhanced my pace of delivery and brought more structure to my conversations.
However, while reflecting on my entire course of 10 sessions, I was left feeling somewhat lost in terms of my progress and where I stood in my journey of improvement.While my experience with Kate was largely positive, there are a few aspects of the course that I believe could be improved. At the outset of the course, I found the structure to be somewhat lacking in transparency. Given the promise of a tailored approach, I expected a more structured curriculum that could adapt to my specific areas of improvement. Furthermore, considering the investment involved, I believe there is room for additional support, particularly in terms of tracking a student's progress throughout the entire journey. A more proactive engagement between sessions could greatly enhance the overall learning experience.

I was eager to improve my communication skills and had heard great things about LSW. After my initial taster session with Emmy, I decided to sign up for a set of 10 sessions, a combination of Accent Softening and Communication Skills.
From our very first session, Emmy demonstrated a deep understanding of my challenges and tailored our one-on-one sessions accordingly. She was not only highly professional but also incredibly friendly and caring; it felt like she had my back right from day one. The sessions were well-structured, and there was a wealth of useful materials that I could continue to work with on my own.
The team at LSW is exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing the highest standard of service. I'm genuinely looking forward to returning for some top-up sessions in a few months. Thanks to Emmy and the entire team! Highly recommended!

Helped me get ready for High Noon
Lola really helped me in getting my act together for the interview… under what were difficult circumstances for me. She helped me feel more comfortable and centered, and to breathe more easily (which was important for me given that I was recovering from a chest infection). Lola listened carefully to what I said I needed, and somehow she managed to come up with solutions that helped. Most of all she helped me feel more confident - which is an amazing thing to be able to do. The sessions with Tom really helped me prepare my stories. If I try to do this on my own, I typically get frustrated, so having Tom as a coach really helped me practice my stories effectively and get to the stage where I was able to show up feeling prepared.

Great experience
I had an outstanding experience with Kate Guest. I purchased 15 sessions for Accent Softening and have definitely noticed a significant improvement. While it's important to note that there are no instant miracles and that your results improve with the time and effort you put into homework, I found it to be a worthwhile investment. I now have a heightened awareness of nuances in my speech and a better understanding of what to focus on when speaking or listening to audiobooks.
Kate is an incredibly professional and delightful individual to work with. She created a comfortable and engaging learning environment. Her adaptability in teaching allowed me to develop personalized techniques for improving my pronunciation. I was so impressed with her services that I decided to purchase an additional 10 sessions, as I believe there is still room for further improvement with her guidance.
