Great evening as usual

Ticket booking process was very quick and responsive, as my first choice was unavailable, so received an email next day to inform me to try for another date.
As we were coming from Scotland, we received another email asking to confirm we would definitely come and offered us priority tickets. I agreed, and all following contact was clear about the process for arrival and queuing.
On the day, the staff were helpful, as it was our first visit , but perhaps a sign indicating priority and general queues separately would have been clever.
Wristband lady was lovely and helpful, security were very clear and quick for bag search.
My only slight gripe was once through these stages we were herded into an area with loads of others and no explanation of what would follow, so there was a large confused crowd and it was a free for all once they allowed us access to the venue.
Despite being at the very front of the queue , we ended up way over at the end of a row, however we were very close to the action and the whole experience was fantastic, thanks to all at QI for a delightful evening, would definitely do it again.

Great staff, well organized. Only downside was standing outside in the cold and (potentially) rain. The show made up for that.

What an abysmal ticket entry system!! Having booked to see QI over a month ago, and being told we have tickets but “Seating is subject to studio capacity and is also by the company’s discretion. We advise arriving in good time as the capacity is overbooked and seats are not allocated”. Having left home FROM BUCKINGHAMSHIRE and arrived “in good time” (over 30 mins early) we were told that we hadn’t made the GREEN WRIST BAND (certain seat) and were reserves (YELLOW WRIST BAND). This means that if Charlie’s aunt and family (production team’s saved seats) didn’t turn up, we’d get in. Also told that as we were only the 4th and 5th reserves, we were 80% sure to get in. Got all the way to the door and it was closed on us! Charlie’a aunts and cousins all came!
Surely, a far better and much nicer way of doing things would be to offer the Green tickets to those who booked online and when all seats were booked, to inform a person that only Yellow (reserved) wrist bands were available and that we’d be welcome to come and queue to see if we could get in?
We have now been offered a priority for another time. We paid approximately £50 for train tickets that just went to waste! I love QI but am so deeply disappointed in this unfathomably backward system!!!!!

Awesome show! We had tickets to the show 2 weeks earlier but tickets were oversold so couldn’t get in - it was not clear that that was a possibility otherwise we would have got there earlier. Travelled a long way and was wet dark and cold to be queueing so long before being turned away. Staff were pleasant. We were then told we would get priority tickets for another show and that these would be emailed that evening. This didn’t happen until I enquired and got a reply a few days later with the tickets.
Second time round - great experience, fast and efficient and got in very quickly. Great show, would go again but feel I would have to arrive super early!!

This is our 12th QI recording and the first year with Lost in TV.
Handling the queue beforehand near a main road isn't easy but we are full of praise for the way it was dealt with.
The show itself was up to its usual high standard. Our round trip to see it is 300 miles so 3600 miles to see Sandi Alan & Co says it all. One of the best programs on TV. Long may it continue.

Absolutely love this company, great communication, great shows we get to be a part of (audience) and always lovely staff. I have anxiety and get extremely overwhelmed going to new places however the booking website, tickets & emails have all the information you need and are great for planning ahead. I have a interest in media and so feel better prepared for things like this but incase you aren’t - TV shows are edited and the final product isn’t usually the whole recording when you are in the audience it can go on forever, you may need to see repeat takes, you may get moved around, it’s either a fast paced environment with a lot of audience engagement or it’s a chill-sit-in-the-audience-&-clap-when-told-to. Sometimes they are 3 hours long sometimes 6 hour long, just keep an open mind and enjoy yourself, make sure you eat/smoke/drink/toilet before & if you don’t get in just know you’ll need to get there earlier next time as tickets are not guaranteed entry but even with that lost in tv has been great with offering priority tickets to those who don’t get in.
Lastly customer service in their emails/ texts are brilliant and I’m glad I came across this website because I’ve been able to create great memories

This was our first time going to watch a program being recorded and it was a real positive experience. The method of gaining the tickets and subsequent updates and reminders were superb. On arrival everything was so well organised and with the priority tickets we were soon ushered along to the studio via security checks. There was no real rush as the doors opened a good time before the filming commenced and it all ran smoothly with no complaints. The filming was just over 2 hours and was just a great extension to what we normally see on the tv, but with the great comment at the end from Sandi of “good luck with the edit”. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to be able to repeat it.

Excellent experience. First time we were in the audience of any TV show and QI was fabulous. The communications were excellent as was the organisation of the queue. When we find the time we will definitely do this again.

Had priority tickets for QI and had a fantastic time. There was a bit of waiting around, but everything was well organised. Please be aware you cannot take in food or drink - only water.

We saw QI on 22/03/2023, other than an unexplained delay to filming we had a great time and would do it again.

This was our second time we came to see the show being filmed this series. We had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. The queue was organised well and we had priority tickets so we were lucky enough not to have to queue too long. Really enjoyable experience. Feels more like watching a live show than a recording and would definitely recommend it. We are huge fans of the show and would definitely go again

I had a priority ticket for this show . So didn't have to get there as early as the people who didn't, which for me was good as I do have a disability. The security staff very lovely and friendly. I was meant to be put up the top of the seating area but when the staff see me finding the stairs hard to get up put me in an easier seat . The staff I couldn't fault, they were caring and considerate. Never watch Q I before so was the 1st time I had seen the show and have to say I really enjoyed it.

When Lost in TV came up on my Facebook, I must admit a little dubious but thought, just go for it and I am so pleased I did. I guess having priority tickets helped but I can not fault and must just say that every member of the BBC team were absolutely fantastic, they were very polite, attentive and professional. As you would expect the show was brilliant and funny, we had a great panel and Sandy led them well, I genuinely wouldn't hesitate to apply for more shows or even more tickets for QI..

well organised and great customer attention

We really enjoyed the recording of QI, the only issue was due to the timing in the evening it would have been nice to be able to buy something to eat. Had dinner at 11.20pm....

Great time watching QI Christmas special being recorded. But they should make clear you can take a bottle of water in with you.

So fun to see how they make the show, lovely atmosphere!

Not only was everyone friendly they were also very efficient. My husband was on crutches for this visit and we absolutely cannot praise everyone enough for the way they treated him especially. The recording itself was great, we will definitely be going to another!
