I've been unable to use the service for over six weeks but have had no response to my email requests.

After purchasing a lifetime account, it stopped working and even the custom service email bounces back. Do not trust this company.

I purchased a Lifetime Plan on December 25, 2024, paying 76,092 JPY (approx. $473.77). It worked fine for a while, but recently my legitimate access was completely revoked without any warning. I submitted a support ticket on June 21 (Request #39224). Your automated email promised a human response within 1-2 business days. It has been way past that deadline and I have received absolutely zero response. I have tried reaching out via email, your official community, and social media, but was met with complete silence. Blocking a paid lifetime user and ignoring support requests is completely unacceptable. If this issue is not resolved immediately by a human supervisor, I will be reporting LOVO INC to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the FTC for fraudulent business practices. Please restore my access!

I have a Pro Plan that costs around 500 euros a year. Nothing has been working for the past three weeks. With a lot of patience, I can still access my dashboard, but the website isn’t working. Apparently, you’re supposed to get a response from customer support within two days. I’ve written to them three times and never received a reply. It seems unlikely that I’ll get my money back. So it’s best to switch to Eleven Labs straight away

Terrible, lifetime account cancelled with zero notice or reason. They fail to understand the word 'Lifetime'. DO NOT do business with these charlatons.

Suddenly, from the end of April, I was no longer able to access my account, even though I had an active and paid-for Pro subscription.
I received no reply to the emails I sent requesting assistance or an explanation.
A terrible service, despite the software itself being quite good.

I paid $449.86 for a Lifetime Pro subscription on January 27, 2025 (Invoice #CC681805-0003). The service worked fine for over a year, then in late April 2026 my account was suddenly downgraded to Free Plan with zero notice or explanation.
I contacted support on April 29, 2026 (Request #29466). They sent an auto-reply promising a response within 1-2 business days. It has now been over a week with complete silence despite multiple follow-ups.
I have since filed a formal complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC Report #201182578), which is now on record in their Consumer Sentinel database accessible to federal law enforcement.
If you're considering a Lifetime plan with LOVO — think twice. "Lifetime" apparently has an expiration date.

Lovo.ai is so mid it's actually painful. The voice quality is okay, but the text-to-speech sounds way too robotic for my clips and the UI is a literal maze. I tried using it for my stream, but it’s so laggy and the free version is basically a joke because you can't even download anything without a watermark. Honestly, just save your time and use something else because this ain't it.

They switched from Lovo to Genny and changed the LTD, but they provided 2 hours a month instead of the agreed-upon subscription. The business is probably defunct because you can't renew the miniscule hours they gave you to compensate for the unethical deal cancellation. Once a business engages in unethical practices, it is likely to continue doing so in the future.

I feel ripped off. Two years ago, the slowness of the text generation was just manageable, but now it's unacceptably slow. And my various complaints over the past few years have done NOTHING to help. Furthermore, I haven't noticed any improvement in voice quality in recent years, so Genny has now been overtaken on all fronts. I canceled my subscription and switched to a competitor. It's five times cheaper, 100, no, 500 times faster (seconds instead of hours), and has far fewer errors in UK English pronunciation.

The Genny voice generator has been deteriorating in service for the past few months and as of Jan 2026 it is unusable!! There is always a "sever error" message and you get asked to come back later. When you do - - - the same problem. I won't be reewing my subscription and there are better, more reliable services out ther.

I made a mistake by forgetting to cancel my subscription and was charged for the annual renewal. I was very stressed about it, but LOVO/Genny support was understanding and kind. They processed a refund for me, and I truly appreciate their help and professionalism. Thank you for the great customer service!

Is a scam. They stole our money and barely the system works.

No Natural Voices. Bad Customer service.

This company is unreachable after they've stolen your money. Genny, with their Genny voice generation software, is a scam and fraudulent business. The platform doesn't contain voices from the countries they claim to include, such as those in Africa, and even though I cancelled my subscription, they still billed me this month. It's impossible to contact them to file a complaint.

Don't even consider giving any credit card info. Still charges credit card after the cancellation of the subscription.

Fraudulent company. They sold lifetime subscription to text-to-speech project and then removed it. New product Genny advertises free trial but it's a false advertising and a waste of customers' time: you spend time creating the content and then they don't allow to download it until you pay. What kind of free trial is this?

Frauds. They reactivate cancelled subscriptions months after you cancel and then fight the payment disputes. There is no customer service contact info anywhere, yet they have staff on standby for payment disputes, so this is obviously intentional and planned.
