A group of 15 of us stayed at the Old Vicarage and it was perfect in every way. The property was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for such a large group. It was also in great proximity to the railway station at Prudhoe, which was handy for arriving to the property and getting into Newcastle. Neil was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here!

Stayed here for my friends hen party. It was perfect! House was stunning. So big and spacious. Everything in it you need. Beautiful surroundings, great location. Neil was a great host. 100% recommend.

Great accomodation. Was exactly as it said on the tin!! 17 of us had the most wholesome time together, hot tub was a great success and the kitchen dining area was a great space to wine and dine. We walked into Wylam and took the train back into Ovingham which was a stone throw away. Brilliant weekend and Neil was an excellent host.

What can I say, this is honestly the most beautiful accommodation for a large group, with a stones throw in to Newcastle Centre.

We were a group of 13 women and with 10 bedrooms, countless lounges, a conservatory, a giant kitchen and just the most beautiful nooks, everyone had so much space to relax.

The hot tub was also so much bigger than it seemed in pictures - plenty of space for a comfortable 8 people at once. The host, Neil, had thought of absolutely everything - a huge coffee machine with loads of pods, 2 fridge freezers, 2 dishwashers, all the amenities, glassware, dishes for absolutely everything…the list goes on.

The outside was almost as gorgeous as the inside. Manicured gardens, loads of outdoor furniture with comfy cushions and a BBQ area.

The train station was a short 5 mins away, and it’s 20mins in to Newcastle. It’s a perfect relaxing spot and we cannot wait to come back!

The house is perfect for large groups and for getting into Newcastle on the train. Has everything you might need, is in a nice area with a nice local pub.

the house was well equipped with all we needed. We had a fantastic time and were able to have all our friends due to the perfect size of the house. The hot tub was an excellent addition to our stay. We also had a dinner and drink at the white swan which was the local pub, the food was delicious and the beer garden was lovely in the evening. Would totally recommend for any bigger parties who are wanted a stay with beautiful county walks and easy accessibility to Newcastle city centre on the train, which was only a 5 minute walk away.

Gorgeous spacious home and gardens which was perfect for our large hen party group. Hot tub added an extra special touch for relaxing in the scenic garden, lovely quiet surrounding village with stunning views. Beautifully presented and clean we couldn’t fault it and will definitely be booking again for future events 🌟

We stayed at The Old Vicarage for the weekend as part of a large Hen Party, the house was amazing, plenty of space, lovely character, well equipped kitchen. The gardens were beautiful and the extra luxury of a hot tub, was just perfect. Would definitely recommend

Just returned home from the most amazing weekend at The Old Vicarage. The house was absolutely stunning and the owner was very responsive. We were a larger group so needed to book somewhere spacious. This place did not disappoint. Would recommend it to anyone and would return in a heartbeat.

Highly recommend The Old Vicarage for any celebration or family gathering event you may have! We have just stayed at the Old Vicarage for my sister’s hen do; from booking the accommodation to checking out yesterday morning, the experience cannot be faulted. The owner, Neil, is very accommodating and helpful. The house itself is beautiful - it is large, spacious and has all the facilities you could ask for from a holiday home. The building has so much character, the rooms are spacious and clean and the gardens are very well maintained. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to all our friends!

Excellent stay at The Old Vicarage in Ovingham. We were a group of 9 for a 3 night/4day team building and leadership residential. The house is perfect for this type of residential with 4 large reception rooms for breakout work, two separate outdoor spaces and a large kitchen for dining and/or meeting sessions. Great communication with the host and the property is well equipped. The local pub is only a short walk away and offers great food, service and an entertaining quiz night! This was our second visit and we will return next year.

Absolutely stunning home and amazing gardens! The house is beautiful with a very large kitchen and plenty of fridge and cupboard space for larger parties! The host was incredibly responsive to all my questions beforehand and when we managed to get locked out he drove over straight away to help! Would highly recommend

We met up with some Welsh friends (14 of us in total) and had the most amazing time staying at The Old Vicarage in Ovingham. It’s a beautiful old house with bags of character but also very up to date. Has everything you could possibly need. The rooms are very spacious and the garden areas are lovely. All in all a very relaxing time was had by all.
