BIG THANK YOU TO M4 DRIVING SCHOOL AND MY WONDERFUL INSTRUCTOR, JULIE! 🚗🎉

I began my driving lessons with M4 Driving School on Tuesday, 14th April 2026. At the time, my instructor, Julie, advised me to book my practical driving test for October. Honestly, I thought October was so far away! 😂
However, with Julie’s patience, kindness, and words of encouragement, I came to understand that there was no need to rush the process. Learning to drive takes time, practice, and confidence, and she constantly reminded me of that.

Today, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Julie for never giving up on me, for her continuous support, dedication, patience, and encouragement throughout my journey. You are truly a wonderful, kind, and motivational instructor, and I am so grateful to have had you as my instructor. Your encouragement made a real difference!

And guess what? 🎉🎉🎉
I DID IT! I PASSED MY PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST TODAY, 13TH OCTOBER 2026, AT MY FIRST ATTEMPT! 🥳🚗💃
To God be all the glory! 🙏❤️
Julie, thank you once again for believing in me and helping me build the confidence I needed. Your hard work and dedication have paid off, and I will always appreciate you.
Kudos to you, Julie, and thank you, M4 Driving School! 👏👏👏

If you are looking for a patient, kind, supportive, and encouraging driving instructor, I would wholeheartedly recommend Julie at M4 Driving School.

Thank you, Julie! Thank you, Julie! Thank you, Julie! ❤️❤️❤️

Passed today with Chi Yau after 4 months of learning, chi taught me everything i know in an effective way and i could not have passed without him. Could not recommend chi more he was amazing!!

I recently passed my driving test after having lessons with Tom Netherway, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. Tom teaches with real passion and always made every lesson informative, enjoyable and fun. You can genuinely tell that he loves what he does, and that really comes across in the way he teaches. He was patient, encouraging and made me feel confident behind the wheel. Thank you, Tom, for all your help and support!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning with Jo from M4 motoring. She was kind, friendly and always patient, with her support and encouragement we progressed through the lessons at a good pace and I was over the moon to pass first time. I can't thank her enough for her professional and friendly demeanor which helped me manage my nerves on the road and learn to enjoy driving.

I passed my test today first time with Julie! She is an absolute credit to the company, an amazing instructor all around. She is kind, patient and a lovely lady. If you have the choice, go for Julie! Thank you soo much Julie all the best! X

i’ve been doing my driving lessons for many many months stopping in-between and going back but if it wasn’t for my instructor Gino Gizzi helping me to be motivated and teaching me the way he did, i wouldn’t of been able to pass my test today. i would definitely recommend Gino!

I had a very disappointing experience with this driving instructor "Mehmat" and although I initially decided not to write a review, I believe sharing my experience may help others make an informed decision.

At the time, I was new to UK roads, although I already had significant driving experience from another country. From the beginning, I felt pressured to book additional lessons, as I was told that I would not be taken to the test otherwise. I booked the lessons as requested, but unfortunately, the quality of teaching did not meet my expectations.

During lessons, there were several occasions where the instructor would stop the car during live sessions and spend time talking rather than providing practical guidance. I also experienced comments that I found inappropriate and demotivating, including general remarks about nationalities and driving abilities. Instead of building confidence, the approach often made me feel discouraged.

I also felt that lesson time was not used effectively. There were frequent distractions such as phone conversations and personal activities and I did not receive enough structured training on important areas such as parking, reversing manoeuvres and improving road awareness. It often felt like the lessons were focused on waiting for mistakes to happen rather than proactively teaching and correcting them.

After my unsuccessful test, I was advised not to look for another instructor and to continue with the same one. However, I decided to practise independently with a friend and booked my next test at another place. I successfully passed my test the following week, which made me realise that I needed a different learning approach from different school from starting.

Unfortunately, I do not feel I gained the necessary skills or confidence from these lessons. My experience was that too much time was spent on general conversation rather than structured learning.

For anyone looking for a professional and supportive instructor, I would recommend researching carefully and choosing someone who focuses on teaching, building confidence, and helping learners become safe drivers. Based on my experience, I found Asfraf Driving School to be a much more professional and supportive option.
