This company scams customers from their products to their customer service. The items are broken and still put up for sale as if working or resale conduction. The staff on hand are all equally rude and inconsiderate. When you reach out to corporate they don’t have a direct line that you can reach someone, they decide to call you when they want and will tell you that you should worry about yourself and hang up on you. All I asked was to be refunded or have the item since the item was not able to be located on their workroom floor. I’ve seen them give people in front of me 10 items back that they missed the deadline for pick up and I thought ok they want to keep business and make things right, but when they’re in the wrong they will lie, cheat, and steal from you. Do not visit the San Antonio location. The managers are rude, inconsiderate, and treat you like an inconvenience when there is no clear markings or signs to say where to go or what to do. The corporate number 412-790-2821 has smartass representatives that will hang up on you without getting your name or issue. When you ask for their name they tell you to go f*** yourself

the toaster oven said as is,it turned out to be horrible, used,burned on grease,scratched looked like it had been used quite awhile, expected less than perfect, but not someone's trash

I have bid on alot of items and have loss over $500 for not getting INS on them. On the photos they look good but when I get them they are torn, missing parts, missing screens or it is damaged beyond fixing. Also it states I won an item and people are still hiding and I loose. They need to fix that glitch. Not buying anymore. Prefer to buy items on offer up. Since Dec when I started. No more

There’s no phone number to contact anyone with any questions or issues. Nobody answers the emails ever. The staff of the locations have no clue what’s going on. So you’re just linking your card for them to take hundreds of dollars and you’re not gonna be able to do anything about it

MacBid is a scam—do yourself a favor and don’t buy from them. I started using it just a week ago and bought several items. It didn’t take long to realize their item descriptions are completely misleading. They label things as “like new,” but what I received was broken, dirty, and covered in cat hair.

Calling something “like new” when it’s literally cracked in half is not a mistake—it’s dishonest. I trusted their descriptions, which is why I didn’t bother paying extra for the $7 insurance. Why would anyone insure an item that’s supposedly in excellent condition?

Now I’m stuck with unusable items and out my money. I learned the hard way—save yourself the frustration and avoid MacBid entirely.

Buyer beware.... this place will rip you off.. if you buy a item from them and is says open box, your out of luck !!! They rip you off by hiding the missing item in the pic,so unless you buy the 7 dollor thats cover there missing items your shit out of luck. This place sucks and should be closed.

Find a better auction. This place doesn’t care about you at all. Additional fees PER item, even though you are expected to pull all of your own pieces from the warehouse. The staff is the rudest and so incompetent. Pray you have no issues, because customer service is NON-EXISTENT. No employees on site know how to help you. You are just out of luck, and out of money. No returns is another big cost to you. Head to the other big auction instead, it far surpasses this one!

I have been buying from them for a while on and off. Lately, just about every item I win is either damaged, missing a vital part, is not at all what I purchased, or was misrepresented in the auction description. Do not waste your time or money on this site. It can be very addictive but trust me, it's just not worth using your hard-earned money plus paying their fees after you win the auction only to find out that you got duped again and have no recourse. Mac.bid sucks and everyone needs to know not to waste their time or money.

This is the most unorganized place I've ever seen. The manager there is the meanest man I have ever met. He won't help you if there's a problem. He'll send someone else to do it . and does the bare minimum to get things done and fires everyone. I went into this place and they couldn't find items and orders were everywhere. A complete mess of a warehouse! Not worth shopping at because there are many other places to shop at. That are cheaper too. Terrible customer service here. You have to do everything yourself and no one helps you.

Purchased an 8 qt instapot that was completely broken on the bottom with exposed wiring. Very aggravating to see save $63 when in fact they took $61 for me and I got nothing. The pics in the auction were very misleading and so mad will never purchase again.

I got an item which said it was almost new which then after unboxing had half of the parts missing which surprised me. I went back to return it and they said I had to buy a membership to return it. This company is some bullshit that is just to steal peoples money no matter who they are.

This company does wrong advertising i believe they work with Amazon, They sell old stuff, please becareful shopping here, I believe the employees break stuff so you could get parts from Amazon they work together...I stopped shopping here, there are many places in the Springs you can buy from and see what you buying without the bidding. I already passed the word to friends and family Horrible company.

Twice I have bought something all the product is not in there and is unusable. I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody to use.

I thought I was getting a great deal I won a bid for $30 but with all the fees it cost me over $50. They should let you know before you commit to the bid exactly how much the added fees will be.

Item used missing multiple parts not even worth purchasing parts to fix. Should have just bought a new expresso machine. This one is worthless. Parts plus the used parts will cost similar to new. Don't even think the main machine works. Documented as open box. Company is a scam doesn't give good information on item or pics.

Most products are returns with issues or missing parts. Highly recommend purchasing insurance for an additional fee for higher priced items so you can return for a refund minus their buyers fee. Beware when you buy and know what the risks are before you buy.

I bid on an item and win then it comes up outbid. This has happen several times. I have bought many items on macbid some good, but most have damage, missing parts and the worst the item is not in the box it was an old, rusted pan. They do not reply to emails. Done with macbid !

Do not use Mac Bid. I was unable to pick up an item I bid for at $44. With all the additional fees it came to around $58. They refunded me only $19, meaning they took $39. When I went to go pick up the item they told me they no longer had it. So they made money off of another customer and charged me a restock fee of $25 for something that never left the shelf and in addition to all the fees it totaled $39. This is 100% fraud. Use Nellis Auction. Mac bid is greedy and don’t deserve to be in business.
