Mains Gas went that one step further to ensure that we were able to have heating and hot water available. Our Boiler showed a fault and Mains Gas attended our home on the Monday. The fault was an ill fitted joint fitted by the plumber who installed the heating system (not Mains Gas). The joint was replaced and all was well. 2 days later the same fault showed on the boiler The boiler was then inspected by Glow worm, as it is still under guarantee. But the problem wasn't the boiler it was because all of our LPG tanks had emptied. Mains gas quickly ordered a replacement part on a Friday afternoon shortly before the suppliers were due to close for the weekend. And because Lee couldn't get to the supplier, before closing, the suppliers left the parcelled up spare part outside so that Lee was able to collect it. Plus our LPG supplier made a out of hours delivery of 4 tanks of gas ready for Lee to attend on Saturday morning. Lee attended on Saturday morning and quickly assessed the problem and rectified it. He knew what the problem could be from what I had told him on the Friday and his experience proved him right so that he could get a part ready to rectify the problem. The problem was caused again was because of the plumber (not Mains Gas) who had fitted the system he had placed a connecting valve to the LPG tank the wrong way. And over a period of time the connection had failed. Resulting in all of our tanks emptying. Mains Gas have proved they are reliable and have a wealth of experience to assist their customers. We have no hesitancy in recommending them. PS all this happened in a very cold snap of weather including snow and ice.

Excellent service and people

My heating failed. It was not a good system, and I wanted to replace it. I could not be at the house, but I posted the key to Mains Gas. They inspected the old system and replaced it very quickly with a Worcester Boiler. They did all the paperwork for me, and I now have a proper 10 year guarantee. All is working very well, and I am very lucky to have found such a good company. Do not use an online company, as it is impossible to quote properly without inspecting the boiler. It will be cheaper to deal with an honest company like Mains Gas

Overall a good experience, communications regarding updates could be improved, but I’m being picky.

This time, I needed a new shower and a replacement outside hose tap. Was very impressed with the service and politeness of the plumber plus was reasonably priced. Very efficient. I certainly highly recommend this company.
