Andrew Coll- highly recommended
I had a ride with Andrew Coll which I booked via the website. I moved from Liverpool to Middlesbrough and I happened to ride in the van. I have found Andrew professional and polite.
He is helpful and man who understands to give respect to his clients. He helped me alot throughout in loading and unloading my parcels.
I will recommend him to anyone who will be booking with the company.

I hired ManWithaVan and they sent me Alfi Removals Ltd. The issue was that they sent one mover to help move my apartment within a 2 hour time window. The drive alone to my new flat was 45 mins on google, which was concerning. I clarified this with them and they said it was built into the quote.
In summary, one guy showed up. First of all, who only hires one mover. There was no in hell this lone man could have moved my stuff solo in that timeframe. And they say time exceeding the quote is further charged as well. So I basically ended up moving more stuff than the guy who showed up, so I would stay within the time frame.
This is a total scam. I should be getting a 50% refund based on me doing more than 50% of the work.

Dear Mr Grant, firstly you did not 'hire' us, you used our website to request a quote, which was then sent to you by the Mover you have stated. You would also have received the immediate autoreply from us that informs our Movers supply a working driver as standard with the option to hire further helpers if required, so you either ignored that or didn't read it properly. The vast majority of people understand a typical 'man with a van' service operates in this way. Some prefer to help the Mover themselves if they are able to, enabling them to save some money in the process, or if they prefer they can request additional help and let the Movers do all the work. That is how 99% of 'man with a van' services operate and always have done. Your list of items did not contain any heavy furniture etc that would require two men to lift, which is why a single working driver was deployed to assist you with your move. If you had preferred to not help with your own move (which is fine by the way) you could have easily requested an extra helper as the autroreply explains in advance. Regarding your comment about the driving time (yes the driving to the destination does have to be taken into account), that would still leave over an hour to load up your belongings, which in 99% of small move cases (and based on your small list of items) would be perfectly adequate, as long as everything is ready to go. Hopefully this clarifies things for you.
Pushing for extra money during the move.
Despite giving exact details of what I was moving, and having been quoted a medium van, the movers brought a much larger van than I needed and kept trying to convince me that I had to pay for that even though my stuff filled about a fifth of the space in the van. Everything was packed well and I helped them to move everything. They were very pushy and only backed down once I insisted that I wasn’t going to pay extra. Then they practically concede that this is standard practice, so be warned.

Everything went great
Everything went great. The driver arrived on time, helped us quickly load everything in the van, and then unload the items at the new address. He was friendly, responsive to our messages, and very careful with our items. Perfect experience 10/10 👍

Highly recommended moving service
The movers arrived on time, they were super professional and quick at lifting and carrying, and very friendly and helpful. Followed instructions and helped do the move in less than 2 hours!

Our mover, Raf, was truly amazing!! I was on the 5th floor, so no mean feat. Raf had a smile on his face all day and was so kind and helpful. Finest van were great with communication and everything went smoothly. Thoroughly reccomend! :)

The move was smooth
The move was smooth. The driver helped with the loading and unloading along with me. He was quite experienced and completed the job within the 2.5 hours which I originally selected. Definitely recommended.
