NEVER SHOP HERE. You buy a dress that is not on sale and not final sale and return it because it is cheap looking and ugly and they pull the trick of store credit only because of a promotion they were having whuch was not advertised or explained and for a dress that should not have been included in it and now stuck with an expensive store credit for a site with ugly clothes and terrible customer service. STAY AWAY

Order never shipped, refund promised repeatedly, refund only via PayPal dispute

Ordered a dress from Marchesa’s online boutique at a great price for my engagement party. The order was confirmed, but it was never shipped.

After contacting customer support, I was told there had been a “warehouse issue” and that the dress was no longer available, but that I would be refunded.

I followed up weekly for over six weeks. Each time I was told the refund was “with Finance” and would be processed that week. It never was.

I eventually opened a PayPal dispute, and PayPal refunded me in full.

Very disappointing experience for a brand positioned as luxury. If you decide to order, make sure you use PayPal or a credit card for protection.

Awful service

Awful service. Delivery status not moved for 1 dress in a month’s time. Ordered another before I realized the service was so poor and more of the same. Stay away!

My experience has been awful

My experience has been awful. I ordered a £600 dress on 4th December and the tracking status via a third party app they make you download called ‘Shop’ still says ‘order being prepared’ which hasn’t changed since moment I purchased. I have emailed them on the 4 available email addresses with only one response saying ‘we will look into this for you’ with no response to my subsequent chasers. Their sales inbox bounces back as full, the phone number says it’s out of service.The tracking page on my account via their own website is blank. The item has not arrived but I have been charged. This is supposed to be a premium brand but it feels like a scammer website to deal with.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I still haven't receive a refund for the dress I purchased for my son's wedding, which I returned promptly. At first, they made excuses as to why I haven't received the refund. Now they just ignore my requests. This has been going on since March 2025.

Don’t purchase from this co

Do not I implore you do business with this company. They are extremely unscrupulous. They have no customer service and no return policy. Once you get it that is it. As many reviewers noted if you are successful in returning it chances are you wil not receive your refund. I am currently weighing my legal options.

I hope people read this before they place an order. This is a scam company.
While they take your money, they will send you no email that it has been shipped. You will only get automatic emails that they are working on it. I now need to go to my credit card company and dispute this.

Order not fulfilled and zero customer service response

It's been nearly 3 weeks since I place my order. I received the initial confirmation but nothing since. I have emailed 4 times requesting an update but received nothing back. At the time of the order there was some issue with paying by credit card so I paid by Klarna who take the payment in 4 installments. This turned out to be somewhat fortuitous as I raised a complaint with Klarna who having taken the 1st installment will hold off on taking any more until they get a response from Marchesa.

STAY AWAY

I would give less than one star if there's one. I have been waiting since July 3rd and nothing has arrived yet. I contacted their customer service more than once and two times they replied to me. In both times they were dismissive and could not care less about my order or the money I paid. In both times this is what they said "I am so sorry for the delay; our warehouse was backed up. We are prioritizing your order so that is ships out next week. You will receive an update with tracking shortly. Thank you for your patience and I apologize for any inconvenience." As of today, August 17, I lost all contacts with the company and they do not reply to my emails anymore. Also, they do not provide a phone number, which itself raises so many concerns about their business.

Paid in Full, No Product, No Support – Feels Like a Scam

I placed an order on July 19th for SAR 2,380 and never received my item. It has been over a month with zero updates and no tracking number.

When I tried to track my order on the Marchesa website, it said “No matching order found.” I contacted them several times via email and only received automated responses. No one has taken responsibility or provided a solution.

This is unacceptable for a luxury brand. Customers deserve transparency and timely service, not silence after taking their money. Unless this is resolved immediately, I will be forced to escalate this through my bank and warn others to stay away from this company.

Dress was never shipped

Scam company, they are professional thieves. I ordered a dress for my civil wedding on June 9th, to be shipped to Monaco. They never shipped it. The order was confirmed and they took my money (almost 700€) but never sent it. No tracking number provided; all my emails to customer service left unanswered. I had paid through PayPal and claimed my money with all the screenshots. When they saw my PayPal claim, Marchesa had the audacity to provide a fake tracking number where it only says “shipping label has been created”, no package ever sent to this date (almost 2 months after ordering). I had the PayPal resolution team on the phone and they assured me that they have blocked the money on the seller’s account and are currently investigating the seller.
Do yourself a favor, keep your money and get a dress anywhere but not on this website.

NEVER AGAIN

I shipped two dresses back with their USPS tracking. Arrived within the time needed. Three requests for refund have been made with no response. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They still have my $1200! No one responds as their automated note states. Wish I had read these reviews before buying from them. Just opened a dispute with my credit card company so hopefully they will get my money returned. :)

STEALING, DECEIVING, CROOOKS

So disappointed in this company! I ordered for a trip and confirmed items would arrive on time per website. I called as it approached as items were still not in hand. They responded within 24 hrs, send me a coupon code, and a return label. I was disappointed not to have the items, but thought such is life & they are just human. THEN... I send items back immediately with provided label as per instructions. I have confirmation that they received the items very quickly. I never received a refund & they kept items purchased. They stopped responding to my emails as soon as I returned their merchandise. They stole $2,000 from me while keeping their merchandise. I would never purchase from this company and never recommend them. I am going to open up an investigation on this company. This is not okay! I have all the proof & I will get my money back.

Don't trust and buy anything from marchesa.com

I purchased a dress from Marchesa, delivered on March 14, 2025, and returned it on March 27, 2025. I’ve sent over 10 emails with no reply for my refund, despite their 24-hour response promise. Their customer care phone number is also not in service. I will update this claim if any changes. And I recommend not to buy anything from the businesses blocking google reviews!

I ordered two dresses

I ordered two dresses, when I opened the box there was only one. Fortunately on the label was information that inside 1 item. So I asked support team of this shop about situation, after some days I received answer that they didn’t sent me second dress, and it’s out of stock, and I will receive refund 710 ca $, I received this money, but I paid tax for this dress and I didn’t receive it back. I asked about it, but nobody answered me why I paid near 100 $tax for this dress, and I didn’t receive it back.

No response to return request

I had seen other reviewers complain about not getting a refund after returning their items, so I reached out repeatedly to the customer service team to confirm they would process my return if I sent it back. No one ever replied, so I did not return the dress, in the hopes of being able to resell it.

Theft

I returned a dress to the address, which they confirmed via email, and then did not receive a refund. They have since ignored all my follow up emails to ask for a refund. They DO response to emails however if you wish to return a dress and ask a question but DO NOT refund which is absolutely shocking.
