100% satisfied with the quality and price of the ceiling fans I bought. Would be 5 stars if delivered on schedule. When I contacted the company that my delivery had not arrived by the due date, I did receive the shipment very promptly. Will use this company again.
Didn't follow through with order.
I ordered a Schonbeck chandelier in October /23 . It was supposed to be delivered in a week but I haven't heard from the merchant . I called to inquire a month later, was told the item was back ordered but just came in. The representative assured me it will be shipped out the next week. Another month and I still didn't hear from them. I wrote to the customer help website but has yet to hear from anyone. I am in the process of requesting a refund.

Completely forgot about my order until I had to ask about the status as I did not see any shipment after 2+ weeks. After I asked about the status, then the order magically shipped the next day. Not very Customer focused or caring. Will probably never order from them again!

Lackluster company with lesser customer service
I ordered with the website giving me a delivery date in about 8 days. When the item did not arrive after 8 days, I reached out. I was then told there was a backorder on my item (for a month later than originally estimated!). I asked for anything to make the unexpected wait worth my time--and I was told "Eh, this is a good price for this item so no. You can have a discount next time you order." As if I would want to order from a company who doesn't let you know items you order are backordered and doesn't own up to their mistakes/apologize to customers when their databases aren't up to date/functioning to basic standards.
Misleading discounts offered
I tried to order a vanity from The Lighting Marketplace because they had a model I wanted in stock. Upon entering the site I was offered a discount of 15% if I would give them my email address. After filling in my email info I was directed to the site and there was no discount applied. I spoke with someone in the chat box and after going back and forth they agreed to a lesser cost. The problem is they, unlike most other websites selling vanities charge for shipping. In this case $199! I left the item in the cart and wanted more time to think it over. A day later I received an email with an offer to take an additional 15% off the item left in my cart. When I went back to place the order with this new incentive, they would not honor it. Again, back and forth in the chatbox with excuses that were untrue and misleading. After spending too much time "chatting" I decided to let it go since I felt I was not dealing with honorable people. Apparently, the robot that sent me the discount for the item left in the cart was misinformed and the company was not willing to honor their mistake.

Company seems like a scam. I sent several emails that went unanswered. Someone finally replied after I reported to my bank and had the charges reversed

It got to a point where I was not sure if "The Lighting Marketplace" was a real business or it was a scam. Communication is very important.

Returns ignored… disappointing
I had purchased fans that were too large, I asked to return them and was told if I purchased two other fans they would send me return labels and refund my original fans once they were received. It has been over three weeks and I have not received my refund and the company will not reply to any of my
requests for information. I will now have to dispute this on my credit card…
