I had a problem with a gaming company that changed hands and began charging me monthly using my credit card even after I cancelled my membership. It was a small charge so at first didn't notice. Called Mastercard and they said to change my number but wow - that would be a huge job -I being an elder. But they did spend time to help me and give me good advice to make sure to take screen shots of your transactions which makes is easier for them to act on your behalf. Then they did more. Great company - very helpful.

Mastercard and Santander are connected and so is a lot of other companies, but let me clarify the story of what happened.

I used a debit card and received a product not as described, I contacted PayPal because that is the place I used Santander to buy goods from Nutricraft, received a product with not many months on it before best before date, so contacted seller early April to ask them to send me another one but because I already opened it they wouldn't accept it back.

I offered them a £30 compensation for a 50 quid product if they would send me a fresh one for slightly less than what it costs, they declined so...

I contacted PayPal and took weeks resolution center to get my money back as it wasn't fresh hence not as described, and website wasn't clean on the return policy, not to mention they have no terms and conditions on the website I bought the product from.

Even mentioning this to PayPal, they sided with the seller, went to Santander to get my money back took another few more weeks or hassle and labour sending them my PayPal proof and documents to support my case, they sent to Mastercard who were the deciders of me getting my money back, I was willing to send the item back as well, now MasterCard declined as well, I even finally sent it to a financial ombudsman who was even more useless than PayPal and Santander combined.

In the end I lost £49.95 Santander let PayPal and the seller steal my money and Financial ombudsman in the UK was just a spectator cuck in all this

Bottom line never trust Santander or Mastercard, or PayPal or a financial ombudsman as far as you can touch them with a bargepole they will steal your money, and even more so never trust Nutricraft as long as I live.

Put it this way Santander allowed money laundering to pass through their eyes, and they were fined by the FCA a lot of money that should be a red flag for a payment service, we should all stay away from Santander as they failed to adequately monitor and report suspicious activity.

Had I known this I wouldn't have chosen Mastercard+Santander to do business with. After all the analogy is that Mastercard is the Darth Vader and Santander are just the storm troopers but in red.

I found this out when Santander told me that MasterCard was in charge of getting my money back and Santander are effectively useless.

We are living in a dirty service in the UK these days when payment companies like Mastercard can take your money and KEEP it.

How is this all legal??? So yes Mastercard is the real evil behind why I lost my money, and they will just take your money as well.

Mastercard does not honour their zero liability for fraud. I was left having to pay off my fraud charges, disgusting how they treat their customers.

As the Executor of my late father’s estate, I contacted Walmart Rewards MasterCard today to notify them of his passing and to advise that the outstanding balance will be settled once Probate is complete and I have access to the estate funds. I also requested that interest charges be suspended during this period; however, the request was declined due to their automated system.

It is disappointing to encounter such a lack of flexibility and compassion in these circumstances. At times, one is left to wonder whether honesty and transparency are truly valued. The account’s current interest rate is 22.97%, which increases to 26.99% after a single missed minimum payment; an exceptionally high rate. I sincerely miss the days of genuine, empathetic customer service.

This entire site is incapable of honestly any help you need, and I wouldn't ever recommend thinking that they are going to treat you as a customer they want to keep.

Mastercard the Perfect Gift card is simply a scam. Stay away if possible from this product.
I bought a card for 50 dollars and I was able to use only 20 dollars off it. Basically, there were some fraudulent transactions made from overseas on the card. Mastercard charged fees on top of the fraudulent transactions and after reporting to them, they blocked the card and kept the balance on the card.
The hardest part of the experience is being ripped off by Mastercard because they are unable to protect their own product.
